There have been giant holes in our hearts ever since he died. This is one of the reasons we always participate in "Dining Out For Life." The Angels took such good care of him before he passed, oh so many years ago. A simple check on him and the dropping off of food made me feel better when I couldn't be there. He would get a kick out of the idea that the ball-n-chain and I were out eating and drinking beer and toasting his name. "Drink to me" were Pablo Picasso's last words. Thomas was an artist and would have been down with that. There are always people at the event who have envelopes so you can drop off an extra bit of money for the cause. I highly encourage it. If I win the lotto, this is where my money is going.

From my initial contact via email to setting up an appointment with Stephanie and speaking extensively with Kelley, this team goes above and beyond to make sure they are hiring the best people for the companies they are contracting with. I'm sure their main priority is getting the best fit for the companies but they aim to make sure they are getting their candidates the best roles as well. I've received an unparalleled amount of tools, coaching, and even great advice from everyone that Ive worked with. They have a great website with wonderful resources available to job seekers at any point in their careers. I've found their online portal with articles and webinars and resume review services to be more helpful than even those resources provided my my university. I have truly enjoyed working with everyone at Goldstone and highly recommend them to job seekers and local Colorado companies who are any stage in their search for talent!

Specifically, she taught me a very helpful framework that would give me clarity into what I wanted next, but also into what I actually needed. Alana thus helped me set clear boundaries and discover what my next step looked like. Once this was clear, one of the most difficult parts of my work was done. Alana is able to play a very personal role in helping you achieve your career goal. She takes her time to listen and understand your inner needs very well before she comes up with a plan. She truly believes that we all have a potential which we can achieve, if we take the right steps to get there. Once Alana understands your inner needs, she is able to easily unlock any personal or professional limitations and help you fulfill your potential by focusing on the specific areas that need action. I would highly recommend Alana to anyone who needs guidance with their career, seeks help regarding the job market, has uncertainties about the psychological part behind getting your dream job, is interested in recruiting -- her knowledge & experience around the area is incredible; or simply getting to know a gifted soul! :)

Alana has provided career guidance for me multiple times over the last 5+ years. She genuinely…read morecares about you as a person, and that remains priority #1 while she lends her extensive experience in Bay Area (and beyond!) recruiting to your personal situation. Alana will take the time to understand you as a person and provide counseling beyond what could be expected of a typical 'HR-type' looking to fill their next open position. With her inside experience she is able to guide your resume, conversation skills, and expectations to highlight your skills and strengths, and help you expose potential employers to the 'you' they really want to meet. This can be difficult for those with 'engineering minds' like myself who tend to be more objective, and Alana definitely helped me step out of that box. Most recently, I worked with Alana to update and improve my resume. After a single session we had completely re-worked one section of my resume to better reflect 'my voice' and clearly state my accomplishments in a way that highlighted my abilities as well as reflecting my personality. The difference from the initial draft I sent her to the final draft I used for interviews is subtle but dramatic, and I am positive it played a role in the callbacks I received. To hand over a resume that truly represents you makes everything that follows more natural, and that is a HUGE deal when making career moves! Beyond the resume, Alana was there to talk out any concerns, nerves, and provide encouragement throughout multiple levels of interviews and offer negotiations, something that can be overwhelming for someone at any level of professional experience. She has helped me aim higher than I would have on my own and provided the insider confidence I needed to push for the best possible outcomes. Could not recommend anyone higher; do yourself and your future a favor and let Alana guide you through your next professional moves.

Aimhire found me a temporary position, which I accepted, with the understanding that the position was nearby and would last approximately 3 months or more. Not only was the position an hour away, but it only lasted 6 days. When I discussed the issue with the recruiter she didn't seem to care, she just responded saying that now I had something to put on my resume. How do you put a job where you spent 6 days on a resume??? Additionally, I had to significantly cut back on hours at my other job to take this opportunity. I was not able to get all of my shifts back after my temp job was over. Through this process Aimhire cost me both time and money; I would never recommend this agency to anyone. My word of advice to anyone who uses this company, be careful and have a backup plan! Aimhire will do what it takes to staff a position but at the cost of its employees.

Fill out paperwork, enter various resume history into database, meet with a recruiter and wait for the opportunities to come in! After the first half was completed, I met with Karen - the Vice President. She was friendly, intelligent and is well versed in this industry. Karen asked me a few routine questions - career desires, job aspects, and salary before shaking my hand and saying she'd be in touch! COMMUNICATION: After about a week without hearing a word, I followed up with Karen, who promptly returned my email saying she had a potential opportunity for me.
