Each time, they have come on time and have done a great job cleaning my apartment. I found pricing to be straightforward and reasonable. They have also made sure to have at least two staff cleaning the apartment so that my 1100 sq apt is usually done in less than two hours. Would definitely recommend them as a good option for house cleaning in the Berkeley area.

The most impressive thing of all is that they managed to clean our kitchen hood. We rent and when we moved in six years ago it was already dripping grease, it was so gunked up (like, it was literally coming out of the light and fan switches). We hired cleaners when we first moved in but they looked at the hood and said it couldn't be done, so ever since we never bothered to clean it or look into getting it cleaned. I didn't mention the hood to the Magic Hands cleaners and assumed they would also skip it like the previous cleaners, so my jaw hit the floor when they showed it to me after they had finished the house. All the grease was gone! We don't have grease dripping down onto the counters anymore! I'm so embarrassed we've been living like this for the last six years! So a huge thanks to Magic Hands for showing us we don't have to live in filth

I reached out to this company through Yelp for a project quote and specifically explained that I…read morehave fragrance sensitivities and needed to confirm accommodations before booking. Initially, communication was responsive. I was told what services were included and that the day I wanted was completely open. However, when I mentioned I needed to call back before confirming, I was suddenly told availability might not remain open, which felt somewhat high pressured. When I called back, I was informed I needed to sign a waiver related to my sensitivities. I completed the waiver promptly, but I never received clear follow-up confirmation to finalize the booking. I followed up later that same day and again over the next two days by phone, but received no response or update. I completely understand if a company decides they can't accommodate a request, but losing communication with a potential customer after having them complete paperwork felt unprofessional. A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. Sharing this so others, especially people with fragrance sensitivities or accommodation needs, know that communication may be inconsistent.

As someone who is fairly meticulous and a bit of a germaphobe, I chose Daiany because I thought her work on Yelp spoke for itself. She was my first pick, and I'm so glad she was able to help me. With pretty short notice, Daiany was able to provide a quote, answer my questions, and get me scheduled. She was super responsive and thorough when communicating before and after our time together. On the day of, she messaged me her ETA and arrived right on time. She and her team member helped return a unit that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year to a nearly new state. The floors were made spotless, cabinets were unstickified, blinds were cleaned, oil stains were removed from the kitchen, colorful mold was removed from the shower walls and floor, etc. I was genuinely amazed that they were able to clean the shower as well as they did! They far exceeded my expectations. There were a few small things missed toward the end of a fairly long cleaning session, and Daiany was more than happy to address any remaining issues, which was sincerely appreciated. I haven't had too many move-out cleanings performed, but Daiany has been the best, and I plan to use her for any cleanings I need moving forward. If you're looking for a responsive, pleasant, and super thorough cleaning business, I highly recommend Cleaning By Daiany.

Many thanks to Carol, Abigail, and Lucia for saving me hours on a job I would have done poorly I needed a deep clean of a long-neglected unit at the back of the property that was being used for storage, sort of like a glorified tool shed to which the outside had started to invade. Getting a quote via text was easy, and they were able to schedule me a few days out. I texted occasionally with questions that came up and they always got back to me within 30 minutes. For the day of the job: they had a cancellation and offered to bump up my appointment, which was great. Carol, Abigail, and Lucia showed up on time and were very friendly. Honestly I was embarrassed to show them the condition of the unit, but they got right to work and are obviously extremely skilled, as this was a very tough job. I was really pleased not only with how thoroughly they cleaned it, but also how efficiently. I also opted for a deep clean of an area rug, which looks very good now. After this experience, I'm planning to hire BerryClean to clean the rest of the rugs, as well as a deep clean of my home when the time comes. I didn't do too much price comparison, but this is really hard work, and the quote seemed fair to me. It's not the type of work you want to cut corners on. Great customer service was the icing on the cake.

There were a couple areas left untouched (entryway table and above the fridge) and a broken candlestick. I understand mistakes happen, but it was not reported, just propped up to hide that it was broken. I reported the issue and a service rep got back to me and ending up giving me a small refund of $40. Despite these issues, I was still planning to give them another try. Fast forwards several weeks, I received a text message about a promo and decided to move forward with booking, with a willingness to commit to several cleanings with this company. I was told that I had been scheduled and confirmed, only for 10 min later to receive another message stating "After reviewing availability and internal guidelines, we're not able to move forward with this promotion." I asked if this was because of my feedback from my initial appointment and received no response. I then decided to try calling and it was at the time I realized that I was blocked. I find this very weird and unprofessional, and thusly would not recommend their services.
