We were at a countertop showroom in Brooklyn near Ikea. Unfortunately, they had limited options,…read moreeven far less than Ikea. We were settling on a white marble or grey quartz which the store didn't have in stock. It would take at least a week to do the custom order for delivery. They suggested to check in Queens, particularly College Point and Flushing where most countertop and cabinet showrooms are located. We came across Tiger Woods, coincidentally since we were parked right in front. The store's showcase is small. However, it's impressive enough that it gives you a general idea of what they offer. There is also a good selection of cabinets, sink, hardware, etc. The sales staff are phenomenal. They will give you recommendations based on your needs or wants. The guy that helped us sketched the sink layout and precise measurements to ensure a perfect cut for the countertop. I had to deduct a star due to an issue with their delivery service. Otherwise, it would had been a 4 since they were an excellent choice. We were told, they would call us a day ahead to arrange for the delivery time. Unfortunately, no one did from the store. Apparently, the same guy that assisted with the countertop was off on Wednesday. I'm now being told at 8am on a Thursday that their driver is 15-20 minutes away. This was extremely unprofessional on their part. Countertops are extremely heavy and requires at least two ppl to lift into the house. He assured me that it was under 6 foot so it should be doable. If only he was actually there in person to lift it. It was like lifting a giant slab of concrete! The driver was not happy about lifting it inside my home. This was even after I offered to tip him. Overall, I would recommend them for their service and selection. However, I would strongly suggest to call and re-check on their delivery schedule.

It has the messy clutter of a workspace, unpretentious and kind of old-school NY. You won't mistake it for a chain hardware store but don't be afraid. I found these guys when I needed a couple lock cylinders replaced and randomly found their number. After a brief conversation the owner quoted me a very reasonable price, without any attempt to upsell me, and about ten minutes later two guys came over to eyeball what I needed. One of the guys returned an hour later with the hardware (wish I remembered his name because he was great) and did an excellent job. Afterwards, I dropped by to get some keys made and the owner threw them in for free. Apparently, they do a lot of ironwork. I felt they deserved a Yelp review and here it is.
