This guy spends ALL his time putting unsolicited plastic business cards....rubber banded on my front fence......instead of actually getting any work done. The plastic business cards DO NOT disintegrate. They fall and gets blown all across my yard.....embedding themselves into just about every crevice, rock, fence post, gutter, and tree root. For years these people come to our neighborhood and leave their advertisements cards on gates and fences. We have to pick these cards up off the sidewalk and gutters and our yards when they blow off . Nobody asked for or wants these therefore making them unwanted and therefore litter. I called the number on the card to explain our view and was hung up on and blocked. Please stop coming to our neighborhood throwing down your trash . In my opinion, this company is shady with no customer service. Our HOA has a gardener who lists this company on his receipt, but they claimed they have nothing to do with him and hung up the phone when I was simply inquiring about the gardener. If they are affiliated with the gardener, then I believe they are totally negligent in sending out someone unqualified to test our trees to ensure they are healthy. I say this because one of the trees on the property fell on our car for no reason. If it was healthy, as the gardener (not an arborist) had stated, then there is no reason it should have fallen. I don't trust this company. UPDATE: In their response, the company says I am blaming them for mother nature. Mother nature wasn't involved. They sat they never inspected the tree but simply removed it. The same company who removed it is on the invoice of inspecting it!! They are the same company! How rude and deceitful. UPDATE #2: I forgot to mention, the people who cleared the tree told me it was dead and covered with fungus. I called to get an estimate on a tree trimming and they sent someone within a few hours. The estimate was very reasonable and they came out the next morning to do the job. The workers were early and got the job done quickly, efficiently and cleaned up beautifully and hauled away the refuse. I highly recommend this company! read more

This business has continued to solicit in my neighborhood 1 to 2 times a month despite everyone having a no soliciting signs on their property. Perhaps that's why they choose to typically do this very early in the morning each time so no one can tell them to stop. I finally had enough. I called the number listed 310 784 0886 and asked what needed to be done so that they would stop and before I could even finish my first sentence he hung up on me. I contacted them last Friday, and a woman put me on hold to contact somebody. She came back on and said Monday between 8 and 9am. Nobody showed up, and now it's Wed. I would think twice before considering this company for any type of work. I found this company by way of flyer on my doorstep. I contacted the company to have 2 palm trees trimmed on my property. An appointment was set for an estimate and all was well. We agreed on a price and a date was set for the work to be performed (4 days later). I never heard from them so I assumed the work was done. I went to my rental 5 days after the work was scheduled and the trees hadn't been touched. I contacted someone from the company who stated he would look into it and get back to me. After that conversation I waited 2 days before I called back. My calls have gone unanswered and my messages have not been returned. This company is very unprofessional and unreliable. Our experience was not as good as other reviews indicate. Wanted a tree shaped and thinned, but not bare. Explained, and believed understood. When we looked, it was not being done the way we had explained. We've had it done before, so we knew what should be happening. Had the guy with the chainsaw get out of the tree while the other called the owner who said he would call later to come and look. Haven't heard from him. OK! So we had a number of tree services in the past and they were expensive and often messy, broke plants etcetera. We have now used MGA twice and they are the nicest, fairly priced professionals. They left my yard today extremely clean, no broken plants and our trees look fantastic. They were careful not to drag the cut branches against my house so as to leave marks. My dad and I used to do landscaping for over 20 years and I have to give MGA the highest marks. Highly professional, fairly priced and work quickly. They are the best. read more

Contracted with Martine (owner) to cut down a large tree and trim a medium tree. Martine sent two workers to do the job and they spent most of their time on the larger tree, climbing and cutting it down and then using the wood chipper. They cleaned up after the larger tree but they left the medium-sized tree untouched till the very end and never completed it. They left the medium tree with some branches partially cut and still hanging from the tree, some branches were just left strewn on the ground below the tree. I called Martine and he said he'd come the next day or on Monday at the end of the day since he had another job scheduled -- needless to say, he never came. I called again a few days later, and he said he'd be back after finishing a big job that he's busy working on in an adjoining town. A couple weeks later, I called his cell again, but he let my calls go unanswered...I left voice messages along with photos of the condition in which his workers had left my medium tree. I still heard nothing from him. Finally, I decided to call the main office number, and spoke with his wife Rosa about Martine saying he'd come a couple of times and never did. Rosa spoke lamentingly, eliciting sympathy from me, that her husband just didn't have any available workers now. I asked when things might change and he'd have workers, and in a most remorseful tone, she said that she just didn't know. So, I gave them a few more weeks and called back to see if finally Martine had workers available. This time, his wife took a 180° personality and attitude change. Instead speaking remorsefully, she spoke defiantly. She claimed that her husband said I had "wanted" the tree this way. I told her that was just ridiculous, why would I or anyone, want a tree left unruly and unfinished with branches hanging from it? And to that, to my surprise, she responded by questioning me why then had I paid? I guess she doesn't realize that most of us pay for goods and services in advance expecting business to follow-through in an honest and ethical manner. Many of us who order online, are always paying for goods and services in advance. But as shown by Rosa's words, MGA's business ethics and practices are flagrantly unscrupulous -- she doesn't expect any customer to pay until a job is completed and satisfactorily done.
