I asked how is it possible they continue to leave the flyers ignoring all our signs. We need our yard free of flyers and newspapers because when we leave we don't want items signaling our absence. These guys are a real class act. The owner is very humble and he knows he has a good team. I was incredibly impressed. The machinery, the thoroughness, the speed... It's all very impressive.. I had a big pepper tree that was very obstructive. Many cars have scraped against it. They took it out in 2 days. It's pretty impressive. They also removed two smaller trees: a palm and a baby avocado tree. They do very clean work and even removed some fencing that was stuck in the ground. First time using E & M! They were reasonable and reliable. They also did a great job on the tree trimming and cleaning up afterwards. The only complaint is they did step on the palm berries which stained the concrete. I had to spend some time cleaning the concrete afterwards because the berries have a tendency to stain. Also they did break some of the sprinkler heads but that could be because the area was tight. Overall, I was pleased with their work and will use them again in the future. read more

I called E & M to trim three trees in my backyard. I was provided a quote that was a lot more reasonable than other companies. The guys showed up to work on time and were very friendly. The trees have been cleaned up which is a god send considering the amount of bugs and birds that they were attracting (fruit trees). Once the work was done the guy asked me to take a look and to let him know if there was anything else that needed trimming. They picked up all the trash and disposed of it themselves. I had them take out a tree and put in another one cost me 3700 for the first phase which seemed very high and wasn't the original estimate. The second amount of work was to put in a second tree, which I thought would be near the $500 that the first tree was. They were also supposed to put in an extra sprinkler valve and they didn't wire that in for me I had to do it myself they charged me $500 to do that and didn't even wire it in. That is not a good value. It should've only been two or $300 for the valve and without wiring it's atrocious to pay $500, also what I thought was supposed to be a $500 tree ended up being $1300 because they said they oh they got a taller one but didn't tell me that it was going to be $800 just for the tree and then he charge me $500 to put it in He was supposed to come back in and put in an extra sprinkler head in my front yard. he still has not done that after two weeks I don't know that I never recommend him for any work again. He doesn't seem to stick with the prices that he originally gives you. read more

Second time using business. 1st time in 2018, they were working on neighbors property. I flagged Enrique and he gave me a quote to trim a large tree in my front yard that had not been trimmed in 5yrs. Quote was high; however, Enrique was flexible and we agreed on a comfortable price for both. I called back a few days ago and Enrique showed up as scheduled for a quote. We again agreed to a reasonable price, being that I am retired, I was content that Enrique was willing to adjust the cost. His crew showed up the next day as scheduled and completed the job of not only trimming but also cutting all the huge dead branches that had not produced any leaves in 3 yrs. Prior to the crew arriving, the young lady who I initially spoke with, kept me updated by calling back to confirm appointment. I found a little card flyer on my door knob from E&M thought I would give them a try. Big Mistake! After a rediculous first estimate that I refused he goes into a hard pressure mode offering a fair price but he MUST do it at 8 AM the following morning cash only. I agree, big mistake! After rearranging my entire day at 7 PM I get a voice message they have to come between 11 AM and 1 PM. I call to confirm and ask for closer to 1 PM because I must rearrange my day again, big mistake! Its now 4 PM and no sign of them, no call to reschedule, nothing. Considering using E&M tree service?
