Larry and Mike came by the same day I called for an estimate. They are very friendly, came exactly when they said they would this morning, and did a wonderful job topping our enormous ash tree (about a 6 hour job). The price was reasonable, and we are super happy with their work. They cleaned everything up, and we couldn't ask for more. They will be the first ones we call from now on. (We had actually been stood up by another company on Wednesday after signing a contract. That guy didn't even bother to call and say they weren't coming. I had to track him down myself.) read more

Larry came to me about grinding the stump, I asked for him to clean up the mess because I did not need it, and couldn't do it my self his price was 250. And I will never use him again he wanted and extra 125. To take it away. They cleaned up a little bit, and left me a mess. I told him I don't use that kind of mulch I use rubber. I know never to use him again!! N read more

This company was working next to one of my neighbors. When I pointed out that a huge truck blocking a dead end street from egress, ingress, or emergency response was both illegal, highly dangerous, and put the company at severe liability should emergency services be needed, what I got in return was attitude. If the company wishes to stay in business and/or not do jail time for impeding emergency response, it might be a good idea to explain this to your employees. read more

Didn't cut the cords that were in the top of the tree (not attached to anything electrical) and kept saying he would come back and do it since it was in the cost of the bill and never did. Got paid and never heard from again even though he said he would come back and do it. Also left most of the trimmings on the lawn and didn't clean up. read more

Larry is an absolute pleasure to do business with. I have used them a few times now. He always ensures the work is done right and just the way I want it. Based on Heather's review below, I had Larry's come out and remove a tree stump and do some hauling for me. Estimate was very competitive. So competitive that they bid $200 for a hauling job for which Jimmie's bid $600. In the end, they only finished about 2/3 of the job. So I still got a good deal, I just need to finish it myself. Jason's demeanor is a bit rough around the edges, but he's got a heart of gold and works hard. Now that I've also used Octavio's and Jimmie's, my preference is Larry's. If you're looking for some clean up and hauling work done, here's a key piece of insight that I can provide after three experiences: any contractor that bills himself as a tree service will only haul away organic material like roots, branches and vines. If they come across concrete or other things in the ground, they won't haul them away because their recycler won't accept it. Best to see if they can break it up into small pieces so you can add it to your own trash over a period of weeks. If you have a bunch of non-organics, you need a dedicated hauling service that runs to the dump, rather than someone who's limited to wood chipper pieces. read more

Larry and his crew came over to remove Bougainvillas and creeping figs yesterday. It was a messy job and they were great. Their prices were competitive as well. I recommend them for sure !!! read more

I had some oaks removed and trimmed. Larry's tree service did a professional job. They worked safely and efficiently. Highly recommend them

He came on time, very knowledgeable about trees and shrubs. Very nice happy guy who takes pride in his work. I wish I had more stumps for him to grind I didnt want him to leave! He beat the other tree trimming and removal prices I had qouted. read more

Larry and his crew showed up on time and did what he said he would do for the price quoted. The fee that he charged was reasonable and his crew was professional. I had other companies give me a quote which were ridiculous and one refused to do any work because I had wires running through the tree. I have found the tree maintenance company to keep. read more

Larry is the best , I called after hours and he was so nice about coming out and cutting a limb that was hanging in the road. He came out in timely manner and was even fair about the price. He was so calm about the situation which made me feel better , because I was so upset . I will use him again . My neighbor came by when Larry was trimming the tree and said Larry is the best at what is does and he is the only one he uses . So I will be use him again . Thank you so much Larry Teresa S read more

Larry tree service is fast responding great prices and most of all Larry is super cool dude would highly recommend for tree service.

So friendly, worked quick and they cleaned up after themselves great. Very accomodating. I bet I call them annually!

Had Larry quote removal of several large Melaleuca Leucadendra trees and stumps. His bid was the best of the three I obtained. He readily provided license and bond information. He and his crew showed up on time and over two days removed trees and stumps. Each day all debris was picked up and very clean when he left. Very pleased with Larry and will use him for all tree service in future. read more

I don't know what the hell Anthony R, is talking about, I called Larry's to come out and do a hedge job and clean up and he was on the ball, showed up with in the hour. His prices were fair and he completed the job in no time. Sounds to me like some one was trying to get something for free. Some people just don't understand that there are fees for the dump, Gas to get there. Gas to run the machines and tools, then the employees need to get paid. by the end of all that if Anthony was trying to be a Jew, how would Larry's tree service have made any money. Don't forget Anthony that a licensed company also has licensee fees and insurance fees. As for me thank you to Larry and his company for coming out on time and getting the job done quickly. Very Professional in my book read more

We called Larry's Tree Service, I had found him on our Nextdoor sight. Larry came to the house and was the most wonderful human being. It was a pleasure to meet him and he promised a bid that day and we got one which was extremely reasonable. They just left a few minutes ago and we couldn't be happier. They cleaned up every branch and leaf and left our yard with three beautifully trimmed tree's and it was cleaner after they left than before they came. Thank you Larry!!!! read more

Most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. They came out to my house and gave me an estimate for my complex. We awarded the job to them and set up a date for the work to be completed. The day came and went and no one showed up and no one called. We tried calling many times and someone answered on Monday. Excuse for not doing the job was that his workers did not show up for work. My Saturday was wasted. We set up for the following week (Saturday) and no one showed up again. Excuse this time was that they were no longer interested in the job, another Saturday wasted. We told them that we were going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and give them a bad review on yelp, and they said they didn't care. I guess business is that good. Do not support this business. read more

This business was recommended on Nextdoor. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and very knowledgeable about his business. His assistant provided an estimate in a timely manner and they are very reasonable. They showed up on time and did a terrific job.....very hard workers. I can't say enough good things about this business. read more

Larry IS THE BEST!!!! Larry and his son came out and trimmed my hugh Date Palm tree. I have to have it done every year and most charge $400+. I got an estimate from Larry for $300 and will have him do it again. It was a lot of work--31/2 hours-- but the work was well done to my satisfaction (and my neighbor's). I would recommend Larry to anyone needing tree trimming. He is the best to work with and has a wonderful attitude (means a lot). read more

I called Larry's based on the reviews posted and was not disappointed. His bid was the best out of 4 tree services I checked with. It is a family business and they are a very nice group of people. They came and had the job done in no time. Plus they hauled away all of the trimmings without any removal fee that one of the other companies wanted to charge me and all with a smile. I would recommend Larry's Tree Service very highly. Nice people, excellent work, fair prices. read more

Good job! Love trees and shapely shrubs

Great price and fast work. I will call Larry again for more tree trimming. They cleaned up good too.

We called Larry after losing a large branch from a 40+ year old tree during the rains. He arrived when he said he would and we spent some time discussing the damage and the condition of the tree. He was very knowledgeable and professional and offered several options from major trimming to full removal. As the tree was showing signs of severe infestation we decided to do a full removal at a very reasonable price. He and his crew showed up when they said they would and went to work. What an amazing crew to watch! There was a large branch directly above my garden shed and I told them that I realized it was subject to damage and they would not be responsible. They managed to remove the entire branch and the rest of the tree without any damage to the shed, I was impressed! Excellent hard working crew, very conscientious and professional. If I have a tree problem again, he'll be the first one I call! Thanks Larry read more

Call Larry's to get an estimate and made an appointment with them for 4 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon waited two hours for them to show up they never showed up and never called, on Monday we received a voicemail message on our home phone that said sorry we didn't make the appointment something about Post-it notes and getting her clients mixed up if we wanted them to come out and do the estimate again to please call them back. My husband called them back and said he love to have them come and do the estimate they came to our house very quickly The guy looked around and told my husband that he would call him back tomorrow with an estimate it's been over two weeks not a word from Larry's tree service if you didn't want her business Larry's why didn't you just tell us that when you came to do the estimate? Not sure you can count on these people we sure couldn't! read more

I got the same "Hello" lady as mentioned by other reviewers. She was nice and told me they would give me an estimate to remove some ivy from my property. They never showed up or called back. Used Torres Tree Service and they were great. read more

Okay, I read all the great reviews, called to get an estimate on removal of 2 palms. A surly woman answered the phone (I had ask if I had called the business since she just said, Hello.) She told she would send someone out shortly and I didn't need to be there, she would get back to me with an estimate. No call back that day or the next. I called back and had to leave a message on the machine. No call back in another two days. I assume they do not want or need my business. read more

Larry has come and done two jobs for us now - Firstly tree removal and secondly, repairing fencing that was damaged in the storm a while back. I am so happy that we met him! I called Larry's Tree Service on a Monday mid morning, and they came out that same day to give me an estimate. Larry is very professional and personable. I received a call on my estimate the very next morning and the work was scheduled by that Thursday. Larry and son showed up on time and did an amazing job. Good pricing, very nice people and great work. Larry is my new tree guy. read more

Very disappointed with their work. They were asked to clean out the dead brown fronds of three Palm trees and ended up taking away at least one half of the healthy green fronds. One palm tree only had 2 fronds left. It took years for these palm trees to fill out and we loved how full and beautiful they were. They really butchered these trees. I would not recommend. read more
