It has been a few months since Mike and his team landscaped our front yard. He spent so much time with us. It's obvious that what he does is not a job but a passion. I recommend Mike 1,000 percent. Thank you Mike...... ps. We have had so many compliments from our neighbors. read more

Your pollinators gardens and ponds are thoughtful and end up looking spectacular. You are a precious mentor for me, and a steward for Mother Earth. You are absolutely invaluable. Anyone would be lucky to have you do their garden. I recommend Mike Garcia and his EnviroscapeLA team 200% read more

Mike Garcia and the Enviroscape team were incredible! They relandscaped my front and back lawns, installing all new low water irrigation and low wattage lighting. They used what I already had whenever possible. New plants are all California natives. My neighbors have stopped by to tell me how beautiful it looks! And sitting in my back is now so tranquil and serene. Mike really listened to what I wanted, and the team was happy to tweak and adjust as the installation went on and I asked for a few changes. I learned so much about gardening and California flora from Mike. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The whole team was just wonderful. I can't wait to see my garden as it all grows in! read more

Mike Garcia really loves trees and plants. He truly enjoys educating you on the importance of biodiversity and the reason for certain things to be planted over others. He is a big supporter of sustainable farming and will help guide you if interested in planting some fruits and veggies. We have a small space in North Redondo and really wanted to maximize the play area for kids, but still have a nice yard. Mike did a great job of reigning in some of my crazy ideas (a waterfall) and think logically about what would make the most sense. He very quickly came up with a plan to help beautify the yard and clean everything up. Mike's team was efficient and conscientious. I thought it would take two to three days to complete all the work, but they had put in a new drip watering system, wireless controller for the system (not needed - Mike even said it was overkill, but I like gadgets and having the system available from my phone is cool), and all new plants within a day. I mention that the team is conscientious because when they went to shut off the water, the valve broke. They could have simply left it, but they fixed what they could and made sure that I knew what needed to be fixed so a plumber could attend to it. Overall, I would certainly use Mike and his team again. read more

I have used Mike for front yard 'remodel' and now my latest project of installing a 'turtle habitat' for rescue turtles. Mike even PROVIDED the rescue turtle !!! Honestly, you could hire a separate designer and landscaping company to implement the design, but Mike does both. And he posses an artistry and cohesiveness of design that is exceedingly rare even among artists !! read more

We have been doing business with Mike Garcia of Enviroscape for more than 20 years. He is incredible. After installing a working pond some years ago, he has been there to help us with regular maintenance. Always on time, always leaves our pond clean and in excellent shape when completing the job. Cannot say enough to praise Mike and his crew. They are what Yelp promises when recommending a small independent business. read more

I called Mike about a minor issue with the job. He sent the crew out the same day and resolve it. I was very impressed with the company's professionalism and follow up after the job. read more

Mike Garcia is the most responsive, kind, knowledgeable and easy to deal with person ever. His company did an absolutely stunning job with the native plants landscaping for our new business. We could not be any happier with their work! read more

My first experience with Mike, owner of Enviroscape LA, was when my husband and I attended a free monthly sustainability event at his home. We were in awe of his beautiful space and the innovative sustainable solutions he'd incorporated into his living garden. Needless to say, we were impressed right off the bat with Mike's vast knowledge and concern for sustainable landscaping. We were planning to install privacy hedges in our front yard and met with a lot of different companies for the job. Ultimately we were most comfortable with Mike - he listened to what we wanted and guided us in picking the right pant and irrigation system. He went above and beyond, breaking down other proposals and explaining why we didn't need certain add-ons. Basically, all we needed was the right irrigation system, fertilizer and watering schedule for the plant we chose. Our hedges were installed last week and we couldn't be happier! His team was fast and efficient, and project manager Louie is an arborist who was able to answer all our questions and more. Take note when driving around Manhattan and Redondo Beach and you'll notice tons of beautiful and sustainable landscapes that were designed and installed by Enviroscape LA! If you're planning on making a beautiful garden that will last the test of time look no further than the talented group of people that are Enviroscape LA. Thank you Mike and team! read more

Gave us such a ridiculously overpriced estimate for our landscape project and then failed to reply when we politely inquired whether there may have been some sort of misunderstanding and if we could clarify anything about what we were looking for. read more

Mike Garcia and the Enviroscape team are just incredible. They initially installed our water fixture in our backyard back in 2005. Very good attention to detail during the initial installation. What has been incredible though, has been their post installation support over the past 18 years. Whenever I call Mike, he is very responsive, always calls me back and both he and his team have replaced worn out motors, lights, rocks...and have helped me troubleshoot issues I have had over the years to keep our water fixture looking and working to our satisfaction. He always leaves our fixture clean and in excellent shape. Just this week I thought I had a bad motor that needed replacing, but turns out it was just clogged. He and his team unclogged the lines/motor and got the water fixture working again...and saved me the cost of a new motor! Super responsive, high integrity and just good people. We could not be happier with their work. I highly recommend Mike Garcia and his Enviroscape team. You won't be disappointed read more

Great small local company. The owner Mike is Hands-On and pays attention to small details. You get what you pay for. I see many of their older and newer projects. The older landscape jobs still look fresh. Very impressed by the work I've saw around town and the work that was done at my own home as well. Highly recommend this local company. Thank you Mike and Patty read more

Mike and Enviroscape did an outstanding job rehabilitating my gardens! Mike's love of horticulture is obvious, and he patiently shares his interest, ideas, and knowledge. His team installed drip irrigation throughout. Mike even gifted a little succulent to each of my kids. Highly recommend! read more

Requested a quote, they were nice enough to give me a call to discuss so I provided my address and described what needed to be done. After I finished describing what I wanted to get done, the guy said it would be 2-3 weeks before they would be available, which I told him that was OK. Then he kept saying that he didn't want to give me a quote because they were too busy and it would be more than a month before they could get to my house. I said that was probably OK too and that I still wanted the quote but he kept saying that he didn't want to waste his or my time. Basically I got a call from Enviroscape, chatted with them for 15 minutes describing what I wanted to have done, and then was told that they were too busy to give me a quote. read more

Mike and his team are outstanding. They trimmed our our overgrown tree and shrubs perfectly. They also installed synthetic turf in the lawn along with a lighted water feature. What a landscape transformation in less than a week(and only two weeks after I first contacted him.). Mike listens to his clients and provides valuable improvement ideas. read more

We are in the process of undertaking our second project with Mike Garcia and his team at EnviroscapLA. We were very pleased with the back yard project, which included a contemporary, sustainable koi pond, drip irrigation, and sustainable landscaping. We are currently in progress redoing the front yard and atrium. I have repeatedly recommended Mike Garcia and his team (Garden Sanctuaries by Design, Franco's Remodeling, and Simon Flores Masonry) to my neighbors in Manhattan Beach. They do very good work, and I appreciate their emphasis on sustainable design. read more

We worked with Mike in re-landscaping the front and back yards of our home in Manhattan Beach. It was quite a large job because we had all tropical foliage taken out and a Tuscan-themed landscape put in. Mike was a pleasure to work with, and the entire job was completed in four days. Mike's crew were very nice and worked very hard. We're happy we chose Enviroscape. Mike and his crew are professional, responsive, and very nice people! read more

Mike and his team re-landscaped our front yard in two days from a pile of dead grass and dirt to a beautiful drought tolerant landscape. We love that he is environmentally friendly and didn't use any pesticides to treat our yard and is one of few landscapers to install drip irrigation in the area to help us save water. Mike and his team was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to build a environmentally conscious yard! read more

We have had Mike Garcia and his Enviroscape team design and implement projects in our yard three times over the last year. This has involved tree services, landscaping, ornamental lighting, and pond clean out and redesign. We can't say enough about Enviroscape: they are extremely competent and professional, do great work, and know a huge amount about plants, trees, sustainability, and pond design. We will definitely use them again! read more

Mike Garcia of Enviroscape was out of touch for some time. I wrote a review recently chastising him for neglecting his long time customers. Recently, I met with Mike who explained that his reason for being so out of touch was due to a personal tragedy that he was trying to deal with, thus, the default was his lack of response to our calls. We met recently, and he is ready to come back and be as good as he's been in the past. My regrets to all who may have taken my earlier critique to avoid Enviroscape. We are ready to hire him again to care for the great pond he installed for us, and serviced so well for so many years. read more

Mike and his crew do exceptional work. But beyond that, they are ethical people to do business with, and that quality is priceless. I have clay soil that can be a problem for any gardener, but Mike has continued to work with me on various solutions to make the yard look good. Unlike so many other companies today, he's in it for the long haul. Would highly recommend Enviroscape to anyone in the LA area looking for top-quality landscape services. read more
