This is my 2nd review for Dican Electric. I called Daniel to replace my Sylvania Zinsco circuit…read morepanel box (with permit) because it is widely considered a severe fire & safety hazard. Daniel and his young son (another future electrician) showed up and performed a full panel replacement so my electrical circuit panel box can now pass City code inspection without risk of fire. Yay! This was no small job, and entailed disconnecting and removing the old circuit breakers and cutting a larger hole in the sheetrock to replace; then patch up. Daniel took care of filing the permit with the City. As usual, the job was done professionally, meticulously, and for a very fair price that no other electrical company can beat. If you are in need of a certified electrician, I highly recommend using this independent family business. I highly recommend Dican Electric to all of my neighbors, family and friends.

We recently had our entire early 1900s home rewired by Briar and the crew at TNT Electric, and the…read moreexperience was outstanding from beginning to end. Briar was upfront about the process and estimated the job would take three days. They finished right on schedule without sacrificing quality. The crew showed up on time every day, worked efficiently, and treated our home with respect. They cleaned up after themselves, communicated well throughout the project, and made sure we understood everything that was being done. Rewiring an older home is a major project, but TNT Electric made the entire process far less stressful than we expected. The workmanship was excellent, everyone was professional and courteous, and it's obvious they take pride in doing things the right way. I would absolutely recommend Briar and TNT Electric to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrical contractor. We couldn't be happier with the results

Before starting, he recommended an additional option that would cost a little more, and I approved it. But once he got into the job, he was able to make everything work without needing to do the extra work after all. He easily could have charged me more, and I would have never known the difference. That kind of honesty means a lot. John did great work, treated me fairly, and earned my trust. I highly recommend him and Luminare Electrical.

If you need electrical work done and are looking for an honest quote and honest days work, this is your guy. You will not be disappointed. We 100% recommend John Luminare of Luminare Electrical.

Tyler fixed some wobbly outlets today. He was super informative and helpful. Educated me on space…read moreheaters and gave me input on my current outlet situation and what I can do in the future. He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

From the initial estimate request, I was contacted just a few hours later and Israel was able to come out the next morning for a quote. The price was better than 2 other estimates I received and included all of the permitting/SMUD details that needed to be taken care of. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs. An added bonus is they are a Veteran owned company.

We had a very good experience with this company. They provided a quote for replacing two light…read moreswitches, which seemed like a reasonable price. The hardware they had (type of light switch) was the type I hoped and it matched what we needed, whereas another company used different parts that were less appealing. They said that if the parts had any premature issues that they would replace them within a 2-year window from installation. I believe it was Elijah who assisted us. He came in and already had shoe covers on his shoes to protect our floors, which was nice. He quickly and efficiently replaced both of our light switches and also answered a few questions we had about various other potential electrical projects. We would hire them again for future electrical needs.

Doug from Douglas Electric was very professional!…read more He was priced very reasonable and was able to accommodate and get us in right away! My Moms house had the ac not working because of a bad breaker. Doug was able to get the bad breaker replaced so the a/c started working during the Summer Heatwave. I can't say enough good things about Doug and Douglas Electric. I had a Zinsco 200A panel that I…read morewanted replaced, as well as additional circuits added to my garage. Doug came out and did a full assessment, went above and beyond with spending the time to answer all of my questions about the process, some of the concerns I had with some existing circuits, and a huge worry I had about my SMUD utility line that was underground (not in a conduit), that he would be removing from the old panel and installing in the new. Once the assessment was complete, he provided me a competitive quote, described the permitting process, and the scheduling windows. I agreed to the contract, and we quickly began the process. In two days SMUD sent their engineer to come by and set up their part of the engagement and once the official scheduled day came Doug was promptly back early in the morning, along with SMUD techs to disconnect my utility so Doug can begin the work. He was very careful, thorough, and once again respectful to my questions (felt bad interrupting him from time to time as he was so deep into the replacement, and he was very kind and happily described where in the process he was and answered my questions). By 3PM the new panel was installed, he called SMUD to return and reconnect my utility service, and the job was complete..... it looked so much better, but more importantly was so much safer. He then scheduled the final inspection, and everything passed with no issues :) Doug then came back out to install the extra circuits in my garage for future tool stations, and all of that work went just as smooth. I can't tell you the stress of not knowing how the job was going to go and how well Doug was able to complete all of it and put my worries at ease. I would recommend Doug for your electrical work, and appreciate all that he and his employees did to make my job go so smooth.

Lucas is the best person I've ever had work on my house across any trade. He was communicative,…read morehonest, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and informative. Lucas and his apprentice came to install an outlet for an EV charger. The quote he gave me for the job was much more thorough (and affordable) than any of the other companies I reached out to. He also was proactive about making sure I would qualify for the EV charger rebate through SMUD. When he got here, he instantly noticed there was an issue with our outdoor panel that needed emergency repairs. 4 hours later my main breaker was fixed and operating like normal, I had my EV charger outlet, and he charged me a more than fair price for even the emergency work. So long as Lucas is available, I don't think I'll ever call another electrician.

We have hired Rooster Electric for two projects and have been extremely pleased with the results…read more The first project, in April, included updating all of the outlets and switches throughout our home, adding three new dedicated circuits, installing an additional outlet, and installing five new ceiling fans where no fixtures previously existed. In June, we hired them again to upgrade our electrical panel and replace seven light fixtures. For both projects, the team was punctual, professional, and respectful of our home. They consistently cleaned up after themselves, listened to our needs, and took the time to understand how we use our home so they could make thoughtful recommendations rather than simply completing the requested work. One thing I especially appreciated was Lucas's positive attitude and approachable communication style. As a homeowner without an electrical background, I never felt talked down to or dismissed. He took the time to answer questions and explain things clearly. When we purchased our home, we also worked with another electrical company during the inspection process. While they seemed knowledgeable, the technician who came out felt rushed, was difficult to engage with, and was unwilling to discuss some of the concerns we had identified. Lucas and Eli at Rooster Electric provided the exact opposite experience. Lucas genuinely seems to enjoy his work and helping people. Rooster Electric may be selective about the projects they take on, but if they accept your job, you can expect quality workmanship, excellent communication, and a team that takes pride in what they do. We would not hesitate to hire them again.
