I did receive a refund for my unused portions of the package I paid for. I enrolled as a complete beginner and made that very clear from the start. Instead of receiving patient instruction, I experienced an instructor (Michael) who became frustrated with beginner mistakes and raised his voice during lessons. It was also extremely fast paced for a 20 lesson full package deal. On my third day I was being taught a 3 point turn and parallel parking when I was not comfortable turning onto roads and being centered on roads. There were also communication and scheduling issues. On one occasion, I arrived for what I believed was my scheduled lesson, only to find out the time had been changed without any phone call, email, or text notification. Despite the instructor being available, I spent approximately 40 minutes sitting in the vehicle while he stopped at McDonald's and handled personal matters rather than conducting the lesson. During multiple lessons, the instructor took lengthy personal phone calls while I was in the car, including highly personal conversations that contained inappropriate language. As a student learning to drive for the first time, I expected my instructor's full attention and professionalism, not distractions and personal matters. What ultimately made me decide to leave was being told after only three lessons that my remaining lessons and road test had been canceled because I was allegedly "too nervous." I had attended every lesson, was eager to learn, and had only just begun driving. Although I was offered another instructor, by that point I had lost confidence in the school's professionalism and chose to seek instruction elsewhere. Additionally, while waiting for one of my lessons, I overheard another student discussing a negative experience he had with an instructor named Frank. Under normal circumstances I would not place much weight on another student's experience alone. However, after everything I had personally experienced, hearing another student express similar frustrations further reduced my confidence in the school as a whole. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this driving school.

My one and only driving instructor - RUTH - was the best. She was patient but firm. I cried during my second lesson and she gave me the pep talk I needed. I had never been behind the wheel of a car before but she encouraged me every single step of the way. Five weeks and 14 lessons later, I passed my Road Test (on the first try!!!!!). The last lesson was scheduled just before the road test. My son had to go to school for the lesson first and then go to the road test. He had to wait at the driving school for 30 minutes because the instructor was late. Apparently, they did not have a car for the road test, so they had to get a car and an instructor from a different location. My son had never driven with that instructor or in that car until the day of the road test. The new instructor only confused him further.

When I started driving school here I wasn't confident I would even be able to pass a test. My start was a little shaky because I was always in my head and beating myself up for every mistake I made. But going here and each class I took I felt like a better driver. They took the time to get to know me. Study how I drive and work on that with me as many times as I needed. I had a lot of issues with turning so focusing my classes on that helped me a lot in the long run. I was the last person who I thought would learn how to drive let alone pass my driving test perfectly. I came a long way and they got to see me grow as a driver. Also the driving instructors are excellent. The office is very clean they are also helpful and so professional. I worked with Arturo and Jonothan I recommend using the both of them. Before my test I took a 90 minuet lesson and it gave me the little bit of confidence I needed before the test. They are very patient and very kind. If you're doing horrible at it and feel like you want to give up just don't do it. A suggestion I have is and speaking from personal experience get more than one or two lessons especially if you have no time at home to practice. If you're serious about passing get a full package you won't regret it. They even work with you.

Gul is a bad teacher. He canceled classes on me twice and I rearranged around him every time…read morewithout complaint. He made me miss a career opportunity because of a scheduling mistake on his end, then blamed me for it, as he misread my road test date, booked accordingly, and then framed the confusion as my fault. He got angry at me on the highway while I was driving him to the test site, on the morning of my test, when I had no choice but to be on that road. He yelled during the last ten minutes of my warm-up, right before I walked into the test, after promising a calm session. He told me to hate him as much as possible instead of adjusting his approach when I said his intensity was hurting me. He shifted from teaching to lecturing about his fifty years and 10,000 students whenever I asked a question, which made me stop asking questions. He used sarcasm instead of direct answers, which cost me time in every lesson trying to decode what he actually wanted. He would not consider targeted practice near the test site where I lost the test, and framed the request as unreasonable. He treats picking me up or dropping me off as a favor when I am paying $60 a session and covering Uber and commute costs on top of that. He complained about other students (reading their full names on state ID out loud to me), checked his phone, and had extended casual conversations during my paid lesson time. He responded to honest feedback about the yelling by essentially telling me to leave if I wasn't happy. I switched schools, passed my road test after six lessons with a calm instructor, and wish I had done that from the start. Did I sacrifice a lot because of Gul only to end up with a failed road test on my record? Yes. Do I recommend him to anyone? Never. Avoid him at all costs, even if your learner's permit is expiring.
