Great chickens! I love all the variety you can get from them. Looking forward to placing my next order with them in 2025!

26 Laying Hens of varying breeds

I've ordered from this hatchery a few times now. I've bought CornishX for meat birds and several breeds of laying hens. The chicks all arrive alive and lively. I will continue to use them for all my poultry needs and would recommend that do too.

Love the chicks from here! We have gotten many different varieties and each one has been so full of color and attitudes. Ordering online is easy once you do it twice.

They keep sending dead chicks. They will not take any sort of blame. Horribly run company. Will never order from them again. Birds are expendable to the company they do not really care for their well being

This is my update almost two years later. The birds are very healthy with excellent plumage for their breeds. There was great lacing on the wyandottes and the olive eggs are gorgeous. All of my sexed chicks were pullets. I would order from this company again.

18 chicks packed and very cozy in their mailing box.

They are my go to hatchery. They are knowledgeable and helpful when I need them. If any die in transit, they replace or refund. Love them!

For our appetizers, we ordered the pickles. They were just a bowl of their house made pickles, which were great- but I probably wouldn't order again. For my entree, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which came with fries. My friend ordered the avocado toast. But of our entrees were really good. I like that they use a lot of local ingredients. Our service was great too. This is a solid spot. Would definitely check out again!

We ordered a pitcher of their Christmas Ale. I'm not a beer person. But I did like this ale. You could tell it was made with exceptional ingredients, the hops was very prevalent. Just a really good ale even for an occasional beer drinker like myself. We had to move tables because the small room was loud. But that's ok. Our server was excellent she really made us feel at home and did everything she could to make uus feel comfortable. Now, both my lunch companion and I both chose the fish and chips. It was a very tasty flaky cod for $19/$21 that came with sweet potato fries or regular fries. Gotta say, the portions seemed awfully skimpy. I realize they weight it, but honestly I was expecting a lot more. I should have gone for the meatloaf. The sweet potato fries and cole slaw were excellent. For dessert, we got the bread pudding, made in house. It was really very good, but my recommendation would be to add more of the sauce. It was a nice thick piece of excellent bread pudding, but as with all bread pudding, the secret is in the sauce that came with it. Aside from very poor food portions, the server we had had all the charm of Heinrich Himmler if he were waiting on Golda Meir. He never looked at you or stopped at your table. You had to state your request as you walked by him. He treated us like we were a complete inconvenience for him. And I noticed he was the same way with every other table, so it wasn't us. Frankly, a charming place with a terrible waiter in need of larger food portions.

My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I will be back for goat yoga :)

I'm a huge adventure junkie and....this goat yoga party was one of my favorite adventures to date....This farm is literally a utopia... Feels Like Home Farm is AMAZING for: a) Private Parties - Reasonably priced and SO MUCH FREAKING FUN! Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!

But what really stood out to me was the overall experience: everything felt intentional, welcoming, and well cared for. The food is a highlight in its own right. You'll find a mix of traditional fare alongside some great local favorites, and it's clear they put thought into making meals both satisfying and enjoyable. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and approachable--they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The camp director, Jon Casbohm, does a fantastic job leading the place, and it shows in both the culture and the quality of the experience. Even the camp store is impressive, stocked with sweatshirts, caps, mugs, and even some heavily discounted gear that's actually worth picking up. There's no shortage of things to do either. From horseback riding and zip lines to paintball and team-building activities, there's something for everyone. The water options are especially fun, with a giant swim area, a pond, and even a pool complete with a lazy river. A majority of the cabins have been renovated and are in great shape, and the house that another reviewer mentioned has also been updated, which really adds to the overall comfort. Skyview Ranch does a great job balancing adventure, relaxation, and quality, making it a place you'll want to come back to.

The upstairs controls the thermostat for downstairs so all you get on the bottom floor is a radiator that malfunctions and turns off in the middle of a 17 degree night. Every room was freezing. This place isn't equipped for all the winter retreats they hold. I can't believe people have gone here more than once. We had a fairly significant injury when a girl's horse ran her right into a low branch and pushed her off. She thought she dislocated her thumb so our youth pastor went to the first aid station to get a wrap. What a disappointing surprise when he found an empty room which looked like someone was squatting in it. Our youth pastor called and texted the guy in charge of the weekend (as requested by said guy in charge) because he thought maybe the retreat center would like to know. It's 3 days later and still no response. Our youth pastor was also seemingly avoided by Guy in Charge. Ok... And the food. Ugh. No vegetarian options unless you want to only eat cooked vegetables and salad all weekend. My husband tried the burger they were offering for lunch but the bun was so stale it was crunchy outside and inside- like a cracker. The pork offered for dinner was full of fat and gristle. 5 hours of free time and no staff around meant kids just had free reign and we the chaperones couldn't keep an eye on them all. All the summer activities on the lake (zip line, swing, trampoline) were out still on a semi-frozen lake. This proved too tempting for a couple 6th graders. Why wasn't that stuff put away. A broken sled on their "snake hill." so they're not currently using that because no snow and broken sled. No one actually made an announcement about this or put up something to keep people away from it. Just a camp full of danger. And as for the God part- the reason we went. Meh. The speaker had to fill an hour so it was just a lot of rambling and it was theologically questionable at best. Why did the camp tell him to fill so much time? 90 minutes of chapel plus 30 minutes of break out sessions with your own youth group for a bunch of teens. Are you kidding? Especially when the speaker has nothing to say. Too long. Anyway. This is getting too long. So TL:DR not impressed. This place will make you sick with how freezing it is and how late they require you to stay awake. Chapel itself didn't end till 10:00 and then evening activities would start. The people running the show were nice and creative but they had no idea what they were doing.
