This was the second time we have our condo cleaned and we liked the service from Mexsteam alot more than our first service with a different company. They were very efficient in their work and while they did arrive a few minutes late, they cleaned our area rug as a courtesy. The price was also very reasonable for the two rooms we had covered, with one having a pet treatment done. read more

Tal did a great job in cleaning and steaming our couch and sofas including all the pillows. He even started and finished early as promised . His price is very reasonable, just contact him directly. Happy with the results and highly recommended! read more

This mf I talked to via text has an attitude for no reason and no customer service. I just bought a Groupon for a carpet cleaning service for my office. And NOWHERE on the add does it say they don't do "commercial" properties. So they basically told me they aren't doing it and then BLOCKED my phone number. They are a SCAM. do not go with this company. Completely unprofessional. read more

Many negative reviews and I see why. They are crooks! A whole SCAM! When going back and forth it was mentioned they could only do up to 10ft with Groupon purchase. When I tried to book the person said "no sorry, we can't do parts of a couch" My sectional is not connected. The part of the couch that I wanted cleaned is 8 ft... He/she even drew all over the picture they requested. After questioning them all I got was attitude. A company with good customer service would not act that way. Especially when I was respectful the entire time. Whoever is on the other side of the phone talking to customers needs some serious training. It was honestly a blessing in disguise cause I see from reviews now that they don't even do a good job. read more

I recently moved and just wanted peace of mind knowing that my carpets were clean. Tal was accommodating, affordable, and fast. I moved to a townhome where the carpets are on the third floor. I wasn't eligible for any Groupons because of this. Receiving quotes through yelp, they were all quoting at least $169 and most were over $200. However, when Tal came, he shaved off $29 and didn't charge a stairs fee. He quoted $100 before getting started and said because there is no major staining and the carpets were already clean, it would be a quick job. I watched some of the tutorial videos he has on his website and tried my best to pretreat any stains I saw. Overall, it was a very nice experience working with Tal. He is friendly and easy to work with. Communication is best through text and he takes Venmo! read more

We had our carpets cleaned and they look great! Tal was very responsive, communicated clear instructions, and we were happy with his service. We bought a Groupon which discounted the price nicely. We will definitely book again. read more

Tal was very transparent and knowledgeable at front end. He asked questions and asked for pictures to be able to pin down estimate of cost. After scheduling, I found him to be professional, timely and friendly. My sectional and rug came out looking and smelling so clean. Thanks, Angelica read more

This merchant is INCREDIBLY unprofessional and rude (almost to the point of me thinking they must be mentally unhinged and it was quite scary - I had to block their number). They advertised on Groupon a certain price for a sectional cleaning, and then when I tried to schedule the cleaning, they tried to take $30 more claiming the ottoman that is part of the sectional was extra - but by definition, a sectional has an ottoman, otherwise it is just a couch. They are falsely advertising, it is misleading and bad business. DO NOT buy their Groupon for sectional cleaning! I am not the only one who has experienced this with them - there are many reviews online showing similar outcomes. I am now out almost $90 as they don't allow refunds. Absolutely criminal! read more

Tal did a great job. He cleaned our sofa and our living room area rug, and they look much better! He was also very communicative and friendly. I would definitely use his services again! read more

Was trying to get more info from Tal and negotiating on price over text (including coupons he offered - but that didn't apply due to distance). Left the text for a while to confer with my wife. I go back to the message thread and see, "This is canceled." Huh? I tried to reply to confirm that I did want the service at the price he was offering, but totally ghosted. Not sure if my number was blocked or what. Not a way to run a business. Customer service and attitude is more important even than being able to do the job. Your current 3.3 star rating isn't good and is getting worse. Edit: Val's reply confirms the problem: uppity, argumentative, misrepresents... read more

My lil sis broke up with her live-in BF, and almost threw the baby out with the bath water! She was ready to toss her 1.5 year old extremely NICE (but dirty) sofa. I suggested she just had it cleaned, she was somewhat on the fence. But I found this business and the man was Extremely professional, super nice, very efficient, on time and did a GREAT JOB!!!! Made the appointment and let him in while she was at work. Lil sis was sooo happy. He came straight into apartment/highrose with all his professional equipment. And made that sofa look brand new again. Although we didn't have any carpet to have cleaned but I'm confident I would be just as happy.... Make sure you follow the preparation instructions provided, easy peezy--so this man can come right in and get the job done right. I will recommend to everyone. read more

I was happy with Tal the owners attitude and the carpet but when it came to my recliner two new stains appeared after he was done and I cannot remove them. Timely, polite, great service, and very personable. My sofa looks almost new. I will definitely use again!

1 they won't talk with you over the phone just texting, and the dude is really rude over text. 2 before I could even schedule my appointment, the guy up charges me $90 bucks. Canceled before I even scheduled read more

Tal was very nice & punctual, and replied quickly to my questions and requests. I had one large area rug that I got cleaned today hoping to get some stains out & help with the smell but unfortunately it looks and smells the same as it did before he got here. I got a Groupon so for the price I couldn't have expected much, but I am disappointed in the results. He's a very nice man and got everything done quickly, but the results I was hoping for just aren't there. read more

Impressive! I own a three-story townhome with three bedrooms + 38 carpeted steps, I got it all done for under $150, which is half the price compared to other companies! I highly recommend giving them a call to get accurate pricing instead of relying on Groupon. Previously, I had rented out this place to a tenant who turned out to be a nightmare with a hoarding problem didn't even own a vaccine. I was considering replacing the carpet and had been gathering quotes when MexSteam came to the rescue, saving me a whopping $4500! Here's a crucial tip: make sure to follow MexSteam's directions precisely. If you have any areas of concern, take the time to pretreat them before their arrival. As a Navy veteran, I can vouch for the effectiveness of a mixture of Simple Green (1:1 diluted with water) and Dawn dish soap. Apply a few drops of Dawn on the spot, then dip the brush bristles in the Simple Green solution. Remember not to oversaturate the carpets by pouring the solution directly onto them. I told him please call if he has a cancellation and I got it same day, best customer experience! Thank you! read more

I'll preface this with - my carpets are gross. I haven't had them cleaned in many years. There are years worth of pet/food/misc stains that have sunk below the surface. We are not completely filthy - We have done spot cleaning and vacuuming, but they needed a deep bath. I really wanted to get a good soaking and cleaning to eliminate the dirty carpet feel and slight smell; I was okay with not being able to remove every stain after years of neglect. Val was my carpet expert technician and he showed me the gross water that was being sucked up from my carpet and I decided to go with the additional deep clean. I'm usually a penny-pincher so I wouldn't imagine myself to spend any extra money on my carpets, but I'm glad I did. MexSteam was very fast to respond to inquiries and were very flexible with their scheduling. We communicated via text which was nice. They provided us with ample information prior to the service so I knew what to expect and how to prepare. Val was Great! He sent out a message when he was on the way and arrived on time. He was very kind, professional, and gave us great information about maintenance of our carpets. He did a thorough job and I was very impressed with his work! I would definitely recommend this company if you need your carpets cleaned! Thank you Val and MexSteam! read more

Mexsteam cleaner is wonderful, reliable, respectful, and all the above! I've been using Mexsteam for years now I'm always happy with his work and his dedication. He never fails. This company was completely unprofessional. The cleaner that came to my house was rude and an hour late. I asked him kindly if he can please wear booties in the area where I have a rug and my baby plays and the man proceedes to tell me how "impossible" that was (its not ive gotten my couch cleanes before) he was being lazy... then proceeded to say that I should've called another company (probably because this one hires lazy workers). And I was telling him that he didnt have to be rude and I just want the area clean because my baby plays there he just walked away and left... and I already paid for this... im honestly in shock at how unprofessional and rude he was... never again Also... take the time to look at the reviews.. the people who are complaining about the lack of professionalism and the disrespect you get from the workers are not lying... if I could give ZERO stars I would.. groupon refunded me so I couldn't leave a review on there which is disappointing. I want to warn as many people as I can about this company... read more

Mexsteam offers a few different Groupons. Carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, couch cleaning. I bought the rug and couch cleaning Groupons. These are two different Groupons, two different listings. I contacted Mexsteam and even though it would be more convenient for them to do both services the same day, they notified me if some arbitrary restrictions not mentioned in any of their Groupons. So instead of being able to get my couch and rug cleaned, they want to charge me extra for coming back unless I just pay for one of the services out of pocket, even though I already paid for both services through their Groupons. Extremely shady, they don't even have competitive prices. There are much better companies that offer the same services. Please avoid. read more

I use a groupon. Tal was responsive professional, on time and cleaned my area rug fantastic. It looks brand new. I would definitely use him again. He does charge extra if you are on a second floor but that wasn't an issue. He is very transparent in his pricing which I liked. read more

Quick and efficient, good customer service. Will hire next time I need carpet cleaned.

I have used carpet cleaners throughout the years. I normally just look one up when I need one. But I actually asked for their business card after the great job he has done in my office and my home. Most guys are in-and-out in 20 minutes, this gentlemen worked HARD on our carpets for 40 minutes, and it stayed clean looking for months. I haven't done a yelp review in years, but this guy deserves one. read more

Everything seemed fine when he showed up. Was friendly at first and then he walked into my place and started barking orders as to how I need to completely move around my entire apartment. Do NOT recommend!! Scary! read more

Girlfriend got a Groupon for a couch cleaning. Terrible response time after multiple attempts spanning a week. They do not answer the phone, emails and will randomly text you back after multiple inquiry calls/emails. After finally scheduling it on Tuesday for a Friday appointment, they text us Wednesday to notify us there were no longer any open spots on Friday. There only available time would now be the very next day (Thursday) at 10am. Only reason we were available to switch days that quickly was because I was already on vacation for a week. They are not open weekends nor after 5pm, so if you work a 9-5 they're not a good option for you. I live in a 2 story condo, not very complicated but apparently they charge extra $30 if they have to go up or down any stairs (other companies have traditionally waived this for me). When I asked why their competitors have never charged me a stair fee, their employee became rude, unprofessional and even went as far as stating that "they make little off Groupon, they have a deal". In short, indicating this was a low level job for them, my response was simple, that's your problem for having that deal with Groupon not your costumers. If my girlfriend had not already purchased the Groupon I would've told him to leave; as a matter of fact, once the stair fee convo came up he was about ready to leave and began packing his things stating he would have to speak to his boss. It seems like he knew we would be caught with the Groupon expense and it would be easiest for him to not do the job. I decided to get it over with and pay the fee to save the time of finding someone else. He begrudgingly did the job, simple enough couch cleaning but will never use them again. Do not recommend. My suggestion, yelp companies prior to getting a Groupon. The 3 stars for this company is more generous than they deserve. read more

I got the deep cleaning treatment and he was able to clean my carpet like new. I found my family a new carpet cleaning company! Surf's up dude! Mexsteam - Text message exchange speaks for itself. These people are absolute clowns. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - San Diego, California

My review still remains the same. It took you 7 months to finally respond to my review. And still not fully addressing my issue at all. As an owner myself that's not how to conduct business and promote great customer service. No one paid me to write a false review. Your lack of professionalism and incompetence made me write the review. But it's cool I ended up getting my money back through groupon after placing a complaint with them as well in regards to your company. What would be a better form of trying to preserve the so called great image falsely promoted on groupon would be, "my apologies for the mishap and any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please let me know how to make it right. Looking forward to hearing back from you." Also, may I add how your response to every single bad review is the exact same paste and copy response. Absolutely no kind of tailoring to each customer in addressing their concerns. Regardless, still wouldn't recommend your services especially now. read more

FYI, they have a portable system that's not connected the vehicle. I don't have an elevator and they would have to bring their system up the stairs. Hence they charge you extra for this labor to move the equipment. You won't like the attitude of the workers and their boss is delusional in thinking that he can point the finger back at the customers. Sorry you can find better workers who are committed to your business. read more

I bought a Groupon for a rug cleaning, but when I called to make an appointment, they informed me that there was a $30 additional charge because I live 10 miles outside their preferred service area. I hired this company to clean my carpets to complete a move- out carpet cleaning. Val showed up, but complained about not finding parking. Demanded access to the secured garage. I had already moved out, which he knew, and had no way to give him access to the garage. He finally found street parking, then demanded payment up front before starting the carpet cleaning. I refused because it is unheard of to pay for services in advance. He had never mentioned that I'd have to pay in advance. The agreement was that I'd pay him via Venmo when he completed the job. He promptly canceled the appointment. This left me scrambling to find another provider to complete the job. read more

I purchased a Groupon to get my daughter's room cleaned and I thought it was a good deal $40 for 2 rooms and a hallway but when I went to schedule and appointment, they wanted me to agree to terms and conditions that said they could charge my for a number of reasons and it looked very unprofessional because of the incorrect grammar. Apparently there is a $30 charge if you're over the 15 mile limit from downtown (I live in RSD) with Groupon (it's normally 25 mi) and I asked the guy if he can just substitute the hallway or other bedroom for the extra 3 miles because I couldn't see paying an additional $30 just for that and he was rude and unwilling to work with me so I cancelled the Groupon and went with a reputable company instead.
