REALLY WANTED TO TRY & LOVE THIS PLACE.
My family and I visited on Friday night around 8:30 PM. The restaurant wasn't packed, so we asked if we could sit outside. We were seated at a table outside and reviewed the menu for about 10-15 minutes before realizing that no one had come to our table even once to greet us, let alone ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers.
We noticed two women serving other guests, both of whom made eye contact with my boyfriend and me multiple times as we attempted to get someone's attention. Despite our efforts, they continued walking past us without ever acknowledging us. The final straw came after another five minutes, when one of the waitresses who had been ignoring us seated a new party at the table behind us and immediately began taking their order.
At that point, my family and I decided to leave. Once everyone was in the car, I couldn't shake the feeling of disrespect, so I went back inside and immediately informed the receptionist of what had happened. While I was explaining the situation, one of the employees told me that the waitresses had reported that I said I was going to eat at a different restaurant.
QUICK QUESTION: HOW WOULD I HAVE SAID THAT TO THEM IF THEY NEVER SAID ONE WORD TO ME?!
I genuinely wanted to love this place and recommend it based on the menu alone. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined that opportunity. Instead, I'll be sharing this experience with my friends and family throughout Charlotte and advising them to think twice before visiting. Good food can attract customers, but poor service can drive them away before they even get the chance to order. read more
