Mexico lindo is a fine addition to Sandy Springs, replacing a TJs at the same location. Food is good and plentiful. Went for lunch and had the chicken fajitas. Very tasty but no guacamole for them. :( . Great chips and salsa. Lunch specials are limited here. See pics. Service was prompt and efficient on a slow Monday about 11:45am. Ambiance has nice wood interior and much spiffier than the last place. Indoor and outdoor dining options. Lots of free parking next to a QT which is more visible from Roswell road. read more

I visited Mexico Lindo last night and was very disappointed with the service I received. While sitting at the bar, I noticed an automatic 18% gratuity added to my bill. When I asked why, I was told it was because I "always come and never tip." That statement was not only incorrect but completely unprofessional. For context, I usually sit at the tables when I visit--not the bar--and I have never had an issue before. The bartender, Ramona, was extremely rude and out of line for making such a comment to a customer. As paying guests, we should never be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. I've enjoyed coming to Mexico Lindo in the past, but this experience left a very bad impression. Management needs to address how customers are treated and ensure that staff members handle situations respectfully and appropriately. read more

My friend and I just left the location in Sandy Springs, GA. We both ordered the lunch portion of the fajitas that includes shrimp, steak and chicken. We ordered the same thing last Sunday. Last Sunday, the check was $12 each and today it was $20 each. I told the waitress that she charged us wrong because we ordered the lunch portion. She said that they do not do lunch portions on the weekends. I asked her why she didn't tell us that when we ordered. She just said that they don't do lunch portions on the weekends once again. I asked her if that was posted or somewhere on the menu. She said no. I said that we were just here last Sunday and you gave us the lunch portion like we ordered. She called the manager over and we said the same thing to the manager. He said we only do lunch portions during the week. We went back and forth for awhile and I said, "you are the manager here and you need to do the right thing and charge us for what we ordered." He huffed and puffed and told me that I was "copping an attitude!" Very unprofessional! You don't say that to a customer! That is what I was thinking though. Obviously, he is not management material. A suggestion from upper management would be to retrain this manager or get rid of him entirely! read more

Came here for years when it was Tijuana Joe's and I think the remodel/rebrand was done well. Our waiter Juan, was friendly and attentive and surprised us with this incredible churro cake for my friend's birthday. The meal was great too, large portions. read more

I also was at Mexico Lindo last night and I observed the gentleman (Loosely using that word) at the bar braiding the bartender calling her the b word calling her the H word loudly enough so that we could all hear him at the bar so for him saying he didn't appreciate her telling him he doesn't tip, the rest of the bar didn't appreciate him calling her out her name and acting like he had a right to speak to her like. If you don't have $$ to tip when you go out to a restaurant then go to McDonald's where tips or not required! But I am sure there are enough people on here that have worked in a restaurant business and one thing service people don't forget is who does not tip! And u didn't tip last night either!!!! Shocked this place doesn't have better reviews on here - We loved it! Went with a group and everyone enjoyed the food and vibes. Nice decor and great customer service, they also have a nice patio with umbrellas. We enjoyed the fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas, with reasonable lunch menu prices. We waited 45 mins for the check on a Wednesday night with maybe 2-3 other tables filled in the entire place. This time we never got silverware, never got my husbands drink and were left for over an hour. Queso showed up before drinks and was very cold. We had no napkins, no silverware. Food shows up still no napkins/ silverware. Our original waitress never showed back up. There was a dog loose on the patio. My family arrived and were seated within a few minutes. Laura S brought menus and water, and about 10-15 minutes later she took our order. Our food took about 40-45 minutes to come out and had obviously been sitting. The refried beans were cool and hard. The chili relleno and chimichanga were cool and tasteless. We were all out of water but when she came with the pitcher, she filled one and walked off. While she was there, I asked for more ketchup. After about 12 minutes, I went to the kitchen and got someone to give me some. Still no waitress...we went to the front desk and asked for our ticket and that's when she came back. She stood over my husband's shoulder and watched him add her lowered tip. All of their choices were at least 20%. Nope! The food was not good. The service was terrible. Our last trip there forever. It was cold and dark in there. There were 5 families in our area and we were all just sitting and waiting. Take your business elsewhere! read more
