However, most of the patio tables sit in full sun, so it could really use a few more umbrellas or some additional shade to make it more comfortable. I ordered the chicken bacon pita with fries, and while everything was perfectly edible, nothing really stood out. The pita was fine but pretty forgettable, and the fries were just average. One thing I did like was the beer selection, they had a nice variety to choose from. I did think it was a little odd that I could only order Soft Parade in a 12 oz pour, though. Nothing was bad, but nothing really impressed me either. It was an average meal, and while I don't regret stopping in, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Both the hostess and our server were friendly and attentive, and the menu offered a great variety of options. We arrived around 1:45 p.m., and unfortunately they were already out of both the gyros and corned beef. Even so, we found plenty of other tempting choices. I ordered the Garlic Mushroom Burger without the bun, topped with bacon and jalapeños, along with a side of roasted garlic green beans. My husband ordered the Chorizo Ranchero Omelette, which came with a choice of one side plus toast or pancakes, and he added a side of sausage. At first, the prices seemed a little high, but once our meals arrived, it was clear why. It looked like each plate had been prepared by a chef. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and the food was well worth the price. Despite a couple of menu items being unavailable, we had a satisfying dining experience and would definitely return.

We came here for lunch with our family while visiting from out of town, excited to try this…read morelocation after having a great experience at Woodchips before. We were dining with our whole family and looking forward to enjoying the meal together. During our visit, my husband--who serves in the military--asked about a military discount. While the restaurant does offer one, it was only applied to the two items he personally ordered, rather than to the family meal as a whole. This felt disappointing and, honestly, a bit disrespectful in its execution. While we understand that businesses can set their own policies, the way this was handled left a bad impression and took away from what was otherwise meant to be a positive family outing. The food itself was decent, but the experience surrounding the discount overshadowed our visit. Given our prior positive experience with the Woodchips, this was not what we expected. We hope management considers how these situations are handled in the future, especially when recognizing military service.

The gentleman behind the counter seemed busy/ rushed. He wasn't really open to give suggestions considering I've never been here before and I've decided to see which local Thai spot will become our new go to. So I opted for my safety dish, pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. Spice and extra peanuts on the side as the woman suggested seeing I was unsure how spicy I'd like it. She had a smile on her face when I requested crab Rangoon. To me, that was reassuring as it must be a popular item that many enjoy! I also had crispy rolls added. I personally liked the rangoon more. The pad Thai was a very large portion, for dinner. Certainly not complaining, everything was perfect. It came to roughly $40. While there are leftovers I have to say it was a tasty meal. The wait was about 10-15 minutes, not bad!
