I was in the mood for fajitias but didn't want to go to one of the typical chain restaurants. so i decided to go onto yelp and find a good mexican restaurant i could walk to. based on yelp reviews, i decided to walk to mexico lindo. even though they do have fajitias, i decided to try the enchilidas verdes. they were excellent - great sauce! the 2 salsas that come with the complimentary chips were also yummy, especially the green one. also, the inside was nicer and larger than i expected based on other reviews. i will definitely be returning. read more

Mexico Lindo has become our family's go to restaurant to eat at. We aren't really a family that goes out often and especially not to the same spot. Their food is always fresh, the guacamole dip is the best I've ever had, and the everything tastes amazing. It has a great ambience, and although it doesn't have a lot of seating, its always a great place to get together. You can also get takeout I'd you'd like! The owner does most the cooking by himself and it can be tough to run a small business promoting fresh food while keeping up with the demand that he does. This is the most authentic Mexican/Latino restaurant I've been to in Bethlehem, and I think I think it deserves high praise. read more

They're food was good, I got a fajitas supreme it was really good BUT the service was TERRIBLE, as a waitress myself I know it tends to be difficult when it's busy, but the waitress we had literally took other people's orders before my boyfriend's & my order when we had gotten there first, we had to ask for things multiple times, she checked up on everybody else except our table, & their horchata was not good, anybody who knows authentic horchata knows how it's supposed to taste & theirs tasted entirely too sweet & like they made it with the powder instead of the real way. So overall I'd rate it a 1 just because my fajita was good but that's the only thing that was good. read more

We told her about it, she took our order and that was the last we saw her until it was time for the bill. When she gave me the bill she had a nasty attitude. I try and try and try again....when I wrote my review of Mexico Lindo five years ago, it was an honest opinion of what once was a great restaurant. Jump to the future and I can no longer back up my original review. I have been to ML about 3-4 times in the past month and a half. Once, I ordered my food and it was served in a decent amount of time. The only problem was that I didn't have any silverware to eat it with. Tacos are one thing, as they are finger type foods, but rice and beans? I intentionally did not ask for silverware from my server, Sara, because I wanted to see how long it would take her to realize I didn't have any. It took her a full 20 minutes to come back to the table-it's not like I was across the room either, I was sitting right where the servers come out with the food. She apologized and said that I should have spoken up....well, I don't feel it's my job to tell a server basic service criteria. After getting my silverware with a full plate of food sitting in front of me, the other server came over and asked if I was finished with everything. What? I just started eating. I got the feeling that they were pushing me out the door since there were other people waiting for a table. The food was sub inedible. The meat in the tacos was hard and burnt. The tostado was burned, the beans were watery. The only good things were the rice and the salsa. Every time I have been here the food quality was the same: burnt and hard meat, overcooked everything. Oh! When I asked for ice in a glass for my Mexican soda, I got 2 cubes of ice. Don't even think of commenting to the owner-he has the typical attitude of "it's the patron's fault the food is no good." He's one arrogant dude.... I will never go back.....and I can't see why this place is always crowded. read more

I had high hopes for this place since they had a decent vegetarian menu which can easily be made vegan by removing dairy. Problem was the first and second meal I chose has cheese mixed in already. Third option was the veggie enchiladas, and they were TERRIBLE. The mushrooms and zucchini tasted like burnt leftovers from who knows how many meals which were cooked before mine. Menu did not mention the spicy green sauce that the tortillas completely soaked up. So I had spicy (which I do not like) soggy tortillas stuffed with burnt tasting veggies, a TON of iceberg lettuce on top and some rice and beans (which also soaked up the spicy sauce). I had my two sons with me. One had a kids quesadilla (burned tortillas) with fries and the other had a rice and been burrito. Nothing had flavor. Just spice and "burnt bits". When the waitress asked how my food was, I said way too spicy since There was no mention of the sauce and her reply was "ok". $33 and my time wasted. I'll never go back. read more

Mexico Lindo has got to be the best authentic Mexican food in the valley. When I first arrived the waitress brought out some chips and salsa. Th salsa is spicy, which I love. I ordered a tamale as an appetizer and whoa! I was blown away. I got a generous portion smothered in the cooks own home made crema. The tamale was awesome. I followed the app with pork tacos. If you expect taco bell type tacos this place is not for you. The tacos are served with a simple portion of cilantro and onions. I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere and decor are nothing to brag about, but the food is out of this world. This place is hands down the best Mexican mom and pop shop in the area. Never disappoints! I feel like I've ordered everything on their menu (except seafood) and loved it. On Friday nights, they offered a complementary margarita for each adults. Been here a number of times, especially when I lived down the street. I do think their tacos and sopes are very good, especially the pork tacos. I rate them at #2 in the valley. This place is authentic, at least according to my trips to Mexico. I do think la taqueria la plaza is a better value and has better tacos, but not by much. I tried some of the rest of their menu and it is generally average to good, especially the pork dishes. They give complementary chips. Service is not stellar, since it is basically the owner's family/ kids I think. But the owner is always there and very approachable. I did get their steak and chorizo fajitas one time and was disappointed. Their enchiladas were average. Their sides are nothing special. They took chile rellenos off the menu (boo). Basically stick to the tacos and the center of the menu with the platters. Overall I think they're pretty decent and will continue going there. read more

Bad food, bad service, slow. I got vegetable enchiladas and they ended up being string cheese in a cheep tortilla with sour cream as the only sauce. When I pointed out there was no vegetables in the enchiladas she brought me in cooked, chopped tomatoes... There were three of us and the bill was 35$ with a hour wait to get chips.
