Seriously the best place in Bethlehem to get proper authentic Mexican food!!! They do a taco Tuesday as well, offering $1 tacos all day. You can choose from chorizo, chicken, or ground beef. The chorizo are my favorite. The staff here is great as well, the lady who is the waitress is super sweet, and the guy chef pops his head out every now and then to make sure you have everything you need. The spot itself is adorable too, it's a house that was converted into a lil restaurant. You really can't get more authentic then that! Parking on Main Street is metered, but if you go down to the next light which is Union Street, then make a right on to Masslich or Guetter, you can make a right to Garrison which is the one way street that Mexico Lindo is on the corner of. Parking is free here, but there's a 2 hour limit. It's also in a neighborhood, so be quiet and respectful when you park! I believe they have a $10 minimum for cards, so if you're just getting a few tacos, bring cash. I didn't have cash the other day, and my total came out to $4.24 for 4 tacos, but they just charged the $0.75 ATM fee on my card which I was totally fine with. Next time I'll just bring cash so they don't have to do that though. All in all, this place is amazing. If you're in the area and craving authentic Mexican food, make sure you check out Mexico Lindo. I was stuck in PA for a long time and I was so sad that I barely found this place on my last month here! ... Stepping into this place made me feel that I was back home in California at a taco chop in the south part of town.... everything from the rough authentic set up to the staff that really did not know eng-less! and the Food wow I was shocked it was as close to home as you could get! everything tasted so fresh and so much flavor it was like a homecoming party where everyone is so happy and joyful and crying with happy tears especially when I ate my torta!... God forbid I have to spend another year in PA (no offence) but if I do I will probably just rent the room about this store just so I can smell the aroma day and night and eat here till I go broke... My first trip here I started of with tacos and those tasted so good I ordered more plus a torta plus tostadas and 3 sopes.. We have been supporting this small business since day 1 when they first opened as we do with all local restaurants in our area. We have told numerous friends about Mexico Lindo and had spread the word on the good Mexican food they have. Unfortunately through the years we have noticed negative changes that has made us question our return to this establishment. Still we have given it a chance with the hopes that the negative changes were due to them having a bad day...Well I thought wrong..We will no longer return to this place all due to the horrible manners of the Owner.. He is truly unprofessional, the way he talks to his staff is truly sad n disgusting..No wonder his staff changes practically every time I turn my head. I won't deny that he does make good food but I can't support a establishment that has no type of respect for his staff nor customers. This place has great Mexican food, a true rarity for the east coast. I'm from California and even living in Philly it was hard to find inexpensive but great quality Mexican food. Mexico Lindo has delicious burritos and reminds me of the numerous taquerias back home. Their salsas are delicious as well. My wife and I planned on doing take-out from them, as we have a small child and can't go out after her bed time. I called to place my order and they told me they wouldn't do take out because they were "too busy." They've lost my business for good...and everybody else's I know. My family and I were craving authentic Mexican so we went to Mexico Linda with high hopes. We were extremely disappointed and somewhat angry to the point that we left with our dinners boxed. First, the waitress was rude and sarcastic with us from minute one. We never got 2nd drinks we asked for until we asked again and then she sat them in the counter for us to pick up. We waited over an hour for our food while other customers who came after us were served first. The waitress never came to our table to explain the delay. In fact we couldn't even get her attention as she standing behind the counter on her phone. When she finally brought the food over piecemeal it was cold and looked unappetizing. She got my special order wrong and when I tried to explain to her what I ordered she argued with me until she read what she wrote and said "oh yeah its what I wrote" she stalked off and came back with the wrong order again. I was fuming at this point mainly because of her attitude and I stated that we just wanted boxes to take our food with us. I said we waited over an hour for our food, it was wrong, and she wasn't very nice at all. Instead of apologizing for her attitude, she defended herself by saying she was busy. The second waitress, who had her own tables, agreed to get us boxes and our check because our waitress walked off and never came back. I will never go there again! read more

I come here often. The food is always fresh and made to order. The portions are large. I usually get two meals from a burrito, torta or fajitas. Sometimes the cook is the only one working (busing tables, taking orders, ringing up customers, answering the phone) so the service can be very slow. Mexico Lindo was my go to Mexican place for 6 years while I was in Bethlehem. They never disappoint. Great tacos and tamales to start off your meal. I do wish they could make homemade tortillas though. I love their carne asada (marinated pork) huaraches and sopes (both are fried dough base topped with meat, lettuce and sprinkled with cheese, sopes and huaraches differ in shape but are similar) and their burrito is not bad either. For those wishing for some spicy mexican stew, try their pollo a la diablo (devil's chicken, shredded chicken cooked in a spicy tomato based sauce) or adobo de carnitas (pork chunks cooked in a spicy, flavorful sauce). Their pork cooked in verde sauce is also delicious. The portion sizes are quite big and if you cannot finish your plate get it packed because it will be a sensational leftover meal! The also serve nice horchatas. And often have mojito specials. So if you are strolling on the North side and in the mood for mexican, give this place a try. Even if you are not in the immediate area, its worth driving to as well. read more

I just abruptly left this establishment since I was on the verge of throwing up! It appears that the waitress gave my dinner to another party at another table by mistake. She served my wife her dinner and then apologized that they would have to make mine since they gave my platter to someone else. This was no problem at all for me since I've been there before and the food was really good. Unfortunately, I witnessed the waitress go back to the other table and ask for MY platter back from that table. She then took it into the back and doctored the platter to make it look new. She then brought it right back and gave to me. After seeing what happened, I specifically asked her if this was a fresh plate and not the one she just picked up from the other table - she told me it was fresh - she lied! The other waitress came out with a new burrito and threw the other waitress under the bus and told me she gave me the other person's food and she shouldn't have done that. Needless to say, I almost threw up right there on the spot. I told them to take both of the plates back....I don't want any of their food at all....anymore! I took two buddies to ML the other day, and we were all impressed. I have been there several times before, but hearing my buds rave about their meals prompted me to look at things with a new eye. I guess having so much authentic mexican in the valley has jaded me, and I didn't appreciate ML enough. So in retrospect, YES, Mexico Lindo is a very good restaurant and deserves it's stars here on yelp. I have had burritos, tacos, tostadas, sopes, and full meals, and never had a bad dish. The flavors are always strong and unique (there's no meat that tastes like the other meat, even the two types of pork are distinct), and the portions are always good. The other day, a girl at the next table got a Taco Salad and it looked like a mountain when they brought it out. Our dishes were appropriately sized, although my one friend didn't even attempt to finish his burrito - they're monsters! So after a bunch of good meals at ML, I don't know why I haven't praised them before. It's a Go-To place for solid Mexican food in the LV, and it's very good for Gringos! read more
