We hired Mexican Twisted to cater our daughter's Sweet 16 party. They were great to work with. Great communication, they did a walk through the day prior to finalize details for their set up. I contacted this company on 11/1/22 regarding catering for my husbands surprise retirement party. I gave them the information for the venue and for the party chose my items but needed a taste test which I ordered and they delivered for $70. After that I made my choices. I kept emailing Alberto and speaking with Roxanne on the phone. She said she was trying to speak with my venue, which I helped facilitate. Then I heard nothing and on 12/7 I sent an email and left messages and Alberto said they had been sick and would get back to me. During this time Roxanne kept saying not to worry that they were holding my spot without a deposit. Then today 12/18 about a month from my party I get an email from Alberto saying that they cannot cater at my venue but no reason why and most upsetting is that it wasn't a phone call. I've tried to call and email back but no response. I feel like an idiot for putting my trust in this caterer and now I have to hunt for a new caterer. Mexican Twisted catered my dad's Celebration of Life about a month ago. I had been in contact with them for about two months prior and they were really great about answering my questions, giving me quotes, etc. On the day of the event they showed up on time and were very professional and accommodating. We had chosen the Taco Bar with three meats. We had carnitas, carne asada and grilled chicken. The meats were very good and they had two different salsas, lemons, cilantro, etc. Everything was delicious and many people went back for seconds! Mexican twisted catered my sisters baby's shower. The food was absolutely delicious even the kids ate everything that was on their plates. The horchata was absolutely fresh and delicious and so was the strawberry lemonade. We ordered a taco bar setup with all the fixings, beans, rice, grilled jalapeños and onions, there was 4 types of Salas, 3 types of meat that they cook right on the grill, so it's fresh hot off the grill!!!
