My parents recently moved nearby so we decided it would be a good idea to start familiarizing our selves with the neighbourhood. I came across this place through Yelp, and thought we should give it a try as their reviews looked good. So glad we came here! The workers were nice! The inside was although was on the smaller side, had plenty of seating as well seating outside with I believe 2 or 3 picnic tables. We ordered: 3 Birria Tacos- this was our favourite. The inside was filled with lots of meat and the consome was refreshing. 3 traditional taco (fish, chicken and pork)- pie favourite was the pork. They were filled generously and had lots of flavour. This is definitely worth the drive even if you live far out. read more

This is one of those "Don't judge a book by its cover" situations. Hands down THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ONTARIO! I love Mexican food and I am always on the hunt and willing to try new places that pops up, but I think the search is over. No joke this food is made with love and delicious! We've had steak burrito, chicken quesadilla with salsa verde, Tex Mex chicken tacos, Tex Mex steak tacos, chorizo queso with chips, guacamole, and salsa verde it was all amazing! Sad I couldn't clean my plate kind of delicious. They are cash only, so make sure you got that covered. Also, if you get the chorizo queso make sure to REALLY mix it. They put the scoop of chorizo in them top it with the chorizo, so make sure to mix from the bottom. The only thing that could use any improvement would be the chips, they're good, not great. I could not ever believe I would find Authentic Mexican Tacos in Welland, Ontario, Canada! What a shock! I have to admit I drove past this place for months not thinking it could possibly be worth trying. Boy, was I wrong! I walked in the door of the little shack and felt like I had been transported to Mexico! The ambience, Mexican music playing, people sitting at tables or standing in line waiting for their food told me this place was not what I had expected. Oh so good! After enjoying authentic Mexican in Southern California it's a joy to taste it again, and in Welland! I had the chorizo burrito with salsa roja. Packed a nice heat without overwhelming the palate. Portion sizes are generous at a great price point. I look forward to many visits in the days to come. read more

I was craving some tacos, but didn't want to go all the way to St Catharines, so I googled "Tacos Near Me". The closest place was Mexican Taco Zone. I went there on a Saturday night and the place was teeming with people. I was in a hurry so I passed. The next day I went back and it was still very busy but I had time to wait. Ten minutes later I came home with 2 steaks and 1 shrimp taco with salsa verde sauce for $11. Incredible, Incredible, Incredible!!! I'm told there's nothing that beats authentic Mexican street food. I think that was it. I'm going back and this time I'm going to go through the menu item by item for the next few weeks until I've tasted everything. Incredible, and in Welland no less. read more
