Extremely successful instance of the Toronto franchise, but a bit cheaper. Had a perfect Bean and cheese from there today heh heh

Of course he could have upcharged but he was right. Well balanced. The steak fajitas fed two. The kids almost finished their tacos. The croquettes are one of my absolute favorites and they really were great. We all sampled each others food and I would come back if I was in the area again. The shrimp on garlic sauce had some heat. All around great place. Parking in the area was rough. I don't know what to suggest for this. Obviously a beach area at the lake and busy. We almost didn't find parking. Glad we did.

Enjoyed a very tasty dinner at this spot, but just beware when ordering cooking will take a while!…read moreWe were seated on the patio, which was nice, felt more airy. The interior of this restaurant is very small, with limited seating. I'd say patio seating is the best. We put our names in and were told it would be 30-40 minutes, so went up the road for a drink...as our drinks came out, the table became ready, in only about 20 minutes, so we had to drink quick and head back. We got back and a server took our drink order, they took a bit to bring them out and then we placed our order. We ordered a chicken Paella to share. The menu did note paella would take 45 minutes to cook, so we also got a few appetizers, ceviche, guacamole and Patatas bravas. After about 2 minutes, we had to flag down the water again and check the apps were coming g our first, and not everything at once...he went to check and then began bringing them out. The wait was long, but they were all good. As they began taking away appetizer plates they brought a hot plate for the paella and a bowl "for the shells"...at this point I reminded him we got the chicken paella, he agreed and took it away, it was then about 45 minutes later (1.5 hours total) that he finally brought them out chicken paella out, acknowledging the long wait and informing us he accidentally put the original order in for for seafood paella. Nothing the long wait and the Erie, he told us the paella would be computed and profusely apologized for his error and the long wait. We appreciated his honesty and making things right by not charging us for the main dish after such a long wait. The paella ended up being very good and was way more than the (4) of us could eat. Overall, the food was good, service could use some work on their communication, but they did right by us. I'd try it again if ever in the area!

My wife an I were in St. Catherine's to attend an evening performance of Cirque de Soliel at the Meridian Center. We had 90 minutes before show opening and told the waitress that. She was polite and said that she would inform chefs. We asked for water to start with it was served chilled with lime wedge, good start. I decided to look at reviews of this place unfortunately after we had ordered, Yelp had 2 reviews that were right on. My wife's chicken quesadillas were filled with something I'm not sure what, side salad came minus any dressing, my chicken fajitas were very poor although at least you could actually see chicken pieces. Served luke warm with tiny side cups of condiments, that look like the hospital cups that are used to deliver patients meds. Very sad. Terrible experience the waitress asked us how everything was we were honest "not very good". Didn't matter as no manager came to see us and we payed full price for a horrible meal. Other than the opening water and cold beers nothing positive about this food. I won't come back here if you payed me.

The last time I ate there I paid 20 dollars for a soggy mess of chips, some mystery meat, guacamole and sour cream, followed by a piece of wax paper in a to-go box. Now not only was there a puddle of grease/water at the bottom of the container, but I did not ask for guacamole and I asked for the sour cream on the side. I tip very well, always. Their service sucks, and there's never any parking. Very disappointing because the restaurant is beautiful.

The place when you step into it is really a well Themed restaurant, very clean, decorated with think you would find in Mexico, like the large hats. The room reminds me of dining in Mexico off the resorts. The place is very busy! The derive was nice, but please be patient with your wait staff they have been busy probably for hours before you got there, and we're still quite pleasant. We ordered some beer and a jalapeño drink, and it was off the charts! The food, we had the sample platter, which I'm not in any rush to get back to. The taquitos were quite bland as were the cheese quesadillas. The nachos also were just meh. The salsa was just really a cup of tomato juice, with some small floating bits of cilantro and onions, I wish this was a real pico, but I think they may have run out... guac also a little disappointing in this dish. It was quite low on the flavour profile over all. It's a great idea, but the food was quite bad. The pulled beef tacos, this dish comes with three tacos, and let me tell you, this really hit it out of the park!! Omg every bite was WOW! The meat was so tender and well seasoned, I could have eaten all 5 tacos (we added an extra two for $10), and the jus that comes with this, omg omg omg!!! So so so good! I would love to eat this every single day! Our last dish was the quesadilla, I chose chicken as my protein, but this was a little flat as I like my quesadilla really crunchy fro the tortilla, and the filling had some really good chewy, stringy cheese that I really enjoyed, however that chicken filling could really use some more spices or more tang. It was quite under flavoured. We really enjoyed the experience of this Mexican restaurant, and I know many of us are dying to fly out, but if you want authentic Mexican foods, this is certainly on top my go to list. They also had some of the best Mexican rice here, flavoured to perfection!!!

The large tray is filled with chips covered in lettuce, black beans, melted cheese, chopped onions and tomatoes. There were small containers of sour cream, jalapeños, and salsa for dipping. Unfortunately after we finished our nachos we found out that even as a happy hour special($10.00), we could have added spicy beef or chicken, making the nacho platter a more complete meal. Our second happy hour appetizer was the crunchy chicken bites. We picked the Spicy Thai sauce. The bites were very crunchy and had a nice sweet heat. There is a promotion going on. If one writes a positive Google review and shows it to the waitress, you can get another appetizer. It's a spinach dip with pita chips. We got it to go. It may not have been a typical meal, but it was filling and delicious.
