They tend to bounce around a lot in the 80s along Roosevelt. Once a mainstay on 84th, I've seen the cart on 87th as well as 82nd, and usually a crowd of hungry taco lovers surrounding it. I've always appreciated their generous toppings laid out across their narrow counter, condiments of which allow folks to customize their taco however they like. For me, it was always plenty of salsa, a little crema, cilantro, lime, and healthy dollop of their salsa'd guacamole. Tacos aside, I also appreciated the fact the were among the few that would also rock tortas, flautas, and especially chalupas in their offerings. The spread of the frijol paste and the crispiness of the grilled masa was always a treat. Drown it all down with a jarritos of choice; it was really the perfect capper to a street feast.
