I've used this auto repair shop several times for two cars and spent thousands of dollars here. The first minor issue was when they lost the engine cover for my kia. they diddnt replace it and shrugged it off and told me they'd look for it. never got it back. an oil leak I paid for started up again about a week later and discovered a big gash in my upper oil sump. but the biggest issue for which I will never come back is that they diagnosed my truck with bad fuel pumps. I paid over 2 grand because they said it was two pumps on my truck. took it home and failed me again a few days later. I took it back and they told me the truck turned on and there was nothing wrong with it, regardless they charged me 160 just for removing my battery in and out saying they needed to remove a seat. the car never started . it took me months to figure out wether or not I really wanted to fix this car after this botched work. I went to a different mechanic where he diagnosed it was just the intelligent fuse box, a fuse was shorted... The mechanic told me not to go back to that place, that diagnosing bad fuel pumps is basic and the fact they replaced them was sketchy. they pretty much replaced my pumps and kept good working ones, he also said how changing me 160 for removing a battery is so bad. I've actually learned there is no need to remove the seats and it was dishonest. so I spent thousands of dollars on repair that wasn't needed and never even got the truck working. use this service at your own risk. they cannot work on cars past 2017, they don't have the know how. read more

They are a horrible place to go to, like people has said about them before they will not fix your car they will break it. Sam is racist and they don't treat you first come first serve they treat you how they want to treat you, I came as soon as they opened and all I wanted them to do was diagnose my car and that took 4 hours. Not only that, they couldn't find the part to my car and it took them 25 minutes on the phone and then they tried to overcharge me like they always do for everything! I honestly think they were treating me bad because I am young and I have a Mercedes and they think I don't know anything about cars. I would not recommend going to them at all. They overcharge. I run a business of my own and I'm all about satisfy my customers fulfills but they dont care about the customer at all, they just want your money. Mexi auto service showed me a lot. And also they tried to overcharge me for a part and I said I'll come back and they let me leave in my car without putting some screws back in my car. That's a lawsuit and they don't care about your safety. They called me, when I was on my way home saying oh we forgot to put some screws back in. Why would you guys let me leave and drive off and everything wasn't put back on my car. That's a safety hazard if anything happened to my car it wound have been their fault. Mexi auto sevice is just like all these other car places. They don't really fix what's needs to be done they fix what they want to fix. Only go to a dealership, that's the best professional way to go, they fix cars the best! These mechanic shops on the street are scams! This has always been the spot to come for tire repairs. Whether I got a flat, need a patch up job, need an alignment or getting my rotors cut this is by far the best and cheapest place to do it in. The service is always fast and friendly. The only problem is that they get busy sometimes so it can get a little packed. Either way, these guys work through weekends and holidays (from what I remember) so there's always a chance to get that repair fixed on time. I've moved the hell out of Compton but I still take the drive down here when I need a repair. read more

Glad that I found this place I came in not knowing what to expect be to the fact that I am a woman and everyone try to get over on women. But today I came in with the starter that was broken and also the same of my lug nuts were missing I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Sam who charge me a whopping $75 out the door. I was waiting outside for the doors to open at 740 am since they don't have their business hours posted, once they opened the gates workers just passing by me left to right and yet no one asked what I needed; I was in a rush and had to be somewhere at 9 am. All the workers look like they are just wondering around moving cars and opening their business: word of advice maybe come in 30 minutes before 8 am to get your business started and running at exactly 8 am. I was helped by Sam, he was polite and helped me get in and out with no frustration. When Sam started working on my car I was in and out within 15 minutes , will come again just hopefully you guys can be ready for customers & have doors open at 8 am for those of us in a rush & post your business hours online.
