After the incident with my window, I immediately called my mechanic at Goodyear on Winchester by Valley Fair. My mechanic Peter recommended Mex Auto Glass which is located not too far from where the incident happened. They got me in same day within a few minutes from the call. My appointment was at 2:30 p.m. and I got out just before 3:30 p.m. The person that worked on my window is named David. David was really friendly, kind, and explained the process thoroughly. After the service David had me do my own quality inspection. The window worked well I rolled it down and rolled it up. David also vacuumed the glass remains. Additionally, the ladies (staff at front) are friendly and kind also. The waiting area offers customers coffee, water, and device charging station. Although I don't wish to come to this place again, but if I need to, I will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place. read more

Excellent service! Great price! Amazing staffs! Had a break in from the sunroof of my Lexus. I went to Mex Auto Glass and met Jackie, who is amazing. She gave me a quote and said it will take about 2 weeks to order the sunroof since it's on back order. But she said she will try to call another place the next day to see if they can get it sooner. That place is closed and she had to call the next day. She called me the next day and told me that she's able to get it in 5-7 business days with another company. I got 2 other quotes from 2 other auto glass shops. Mex Auto Glass has the best price. Jackie is very patient and answer all my questions and concerns. The other staff, Stephanie is super nice too, she helped me when Jackie is not around, they have good communication among their staffs and she know what I am talking about. My damn windshield got a huge crack from a flying rock. I was on 87 north bound and debris from a truck which was in front cracked it. I was told by my regular windshield guy that it would cost me over a thousand dollars due to the fact that my car has rear view camera and other gadgets. I have a 40 ft class A RV. On a trip and a truck pulls in front of us and broke an 8 ft windshield. Who wants a broken windshield on their brand new car? We hadn't even received the license plate when we discovered a crack in the windshield on our brand new 2021 CR-V ELX. This will be my go to place for windshield replacement and calibration. this is my 3rd windshield replacement on my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. working with my insurance company (State Farm), I was able to get OEM windshield and calibration with $0 out of pocket. Capital Mazda recommended Mex Auto Glass to me after my windshield was targeted in a random act of vandalism. I called Mex not thinking to go through insurance (State Farm) first but the person I spoke to suggested that I do just that, especially since the windshield would also require calibration. I spoke with two separate people at Mex, Angelica and Leslie, but Leslie was the one that worked with me most. Both were courteous, patient when answering my questions and provided detailed responses about what I should expect during this process. I requested an OEM windshield, which arrived within two business days. I wasn't able to take an immediate appointment but they were able to schedule me pretty quickly. I am delighted to have been recommended this shop because the work they do is superb. The whole process from drop off to pick up was quicker than they initially told me. All features inluding the lane departure warning and rain sensing wiper blades are functioning as normal. Mex will be the first place I call if I need my windshield or other glass replaced in the future. read more

This is the WORST service and I didn't even get my glass done. My insurance told me my deductible is $50 and recommended a few locations to get my glass fixed. I called this location. I was working with Leslie, and she informed me all the details, told me it was 50 and she needed to get approval from my insurance and have them fix the make and model of my car. She calls me to let me know its approved but the cost is 150 and that geico change their policy. They could have not change their policy from 2 days ago when i talked to them. I told her I might go somewhere else because my insurance told me 50. I called my insurance and she said no its 50 and includes calibration. My insurance puts me on hold to call Leslie. Insurance came back and says I only owe 50 and nothing else. I call Leslie to schedule and she said you said your going somewhere else its 150. I said why didn't you tell my insurance that, she said she did but i told her I was going somewhere else. Why does it matter what I said?! And correction what i said was i might have to go somewhere else if it's more expensive than what my insurance is saying. Shes pissed off of what I said and looks like this business or she was just trying to make more money. I should've known its a red flag when she asked me about after original glass or after market and then a few days ask me again, something was off about her but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. read more

Had a big crack in my front windshield and called to see how soon I could bring my car in. They ask for at least a two day notice to be able to order your glass and then offer you appointment times that work best for you. Dropped my car off and it was done within an hr and a half. As for the price I did order the original glass for my car but they did offer a cheaper option.My car looks brand new. Definitely recommend this place 10/10 experience !! read more

I learned of Mex Auto Glass when I took my car to get serviced at Hyundai. I had a huge crack in my windshield and coincidentally I was due for service maintenance. Hyundai said they partner with Mex Auto Glass for windshield repairs, so they were able to have Mex Auto come out to Hyundai and get the windshield replaced while my car was at Hyundai for the day which was awesome! ..Unfortunately the VERY NEXT DAY a rock hit my windshield and caused ANOTHER crack!! Luckily I was able to go through my insurance to help pay for the windshield replacement. I needed it replaced fast and Safelight (insurance's recommended company) didn't have any openings until about the next 2 weeks. I called up Mex Auto to schedule an appointment and they even had an opening that day. I scheduled for the next day and confirmed they could come out to my office located in Los Altos and provided them with my company's office address. The ladies at the office are very friendly and helpful. When the technician was on his way he called to let me know he was 10 minutes out. I kept an eye out but didn't see anyone.. I shortly thereafter received a text from my mom saying the technician was just at the house address (I don't even live there anymore); I think it got mixed up because that was the address on the insurance. But I clearly remember giving them my office address. Anyhow I called Mex Auto to get it straightened out, they were able to come to my office the same day within 30 minutes and get the windshield replaced. Their quality and accuracy starts with first test driving the vehicle to make sure all sensors properly interact with the windshield camera. Then test again after installation and calibration is completed to verify they still work as intended. They work seamlessly with insurance companies (AAA is my experience). Good service, reasonable prices, very accommodating and quick service. They fixed a glass that had been smashed due to a car breakin and it was done quickly and expertly. Looks like new. What more can I say - they're good and you should check them out if you have an auto glass problem. I cannot vouch for how well they install windscreens and other things that require glueing, since in my case the gaskets were still in good shape. That said, for the latter they did a good job. My 2012 Toyota Sienna LE needs a new windshield. I called Toyota dealer and they refered Mex Glass to me. So I gave them a try couple of weeks ago. They replaced my windshield with a Pilkington glass. To my eyes, this glass is better than the original one when I see through it. The curviness at the very edge are much better than original Toyota glass as well. I had a trip to LA right after the installation. I followed the big rigs during the construction zone. I heard the small stones striking my windshield occasionally. When I got back I cleaned the windshield and it is perfectly fine. So the initial quality is pretty good! I am looking forward to see how long this glass can last. My cost is just over $300. I think this is a very good price for quality glass and installation. Thanks! read more

Arrived quickly w/o additional fee for onsite fix for (2) rock chips. Fixed it quickly and they were nice. Comes with warrantee. Should they chip and form a crack through the window, you can use that value you paid towards your new windshield with them. I think it was $60.00 total. This is probably my favorite Windshield repair/replacement place! They're quick and friendly via email access. David was very helpful and straight forward to any questions being asked. They're flexibility worked well with my schedule, I can't complain. Although if you do decide to wait around for your windshield service, this is not the great place to wait. Unless you're using the phone to kill time or better yet if they provided television or complimentary drinks would be awesome but overall, the main key here they get the job done in a matter of time. (It takes about 1 hour for replacement and 1 additional hour for the adhesive to dry.) FYI. They're reasonable, affordable aftermarket glass offers a replacement that meets the same safety specs as the OEM at a significant savings and it it guaranteed to work just as the OEM. read more
