Metzgers has been evolving and growing for more than 45 years, in response to customer needs. Over the years, the company has become a premiere marketing solutions-provider, with the infrastructure to support offset, digital, and wide format printing, along with bindery, mailing, fulfillment, promotional products, and a host of other related services.
Located in Toledo, Ohio, Metzgers began in 1976 as a typesetter, then added pre-press, offset printing, digital printing, mailing, data management, warehouse and fulfillment, and cross media (online/offline) capabilities. Additionally, Metzgers offers wide format printing services for large-scale print projects including indoor and outdoor signage and displays, and a Promotional Products Department specializing in helping you select, order and manage custom merchandise for your comprehensive marketing campaign.
History
Established in 1976.
Founded by Norb Metzger in 1976, Metzgers began as a typesetting firm that also provided darkroom services. In 1985, Metzgers added a color copy center for businesses and consumers, and in 1991 the company added a digital color printing capability.
In recent years, Metzgers pioneered the integration of online and offline services with Web-based customer storefronts that have automated click-to-order production and fulfillment. In addition, the company provides clients with the latest in direct marketing tools, including cross-media campaigns with personal URLs (PURLs), microsites, e-grams, QR codes and other emerging digital marketing technologies.
The next chapter in the history of Metzgers is being written right now. We don't know the specifics...yet. But we do know that it will be driven by innovation and a focus on customer needs.
