This store has every kind of map and travel guide you could think of. There are maps, books, travel guides of the local Seattle, Washington, and PNW as well as maps for countries all around the world. There are some really fun books such as maps of movie worlds and fictional places or best hikes and roadtrips around the world. There are postcards, stickers, pins, travel journals, etc. There are language books and dictionaries for a variety of languages too. It's not a huge selection, but this isn't the focus of the store. If you're a geography geek, pop in during your visit to Pike Place Market.

A special store and a gem by Pike Place. This place is amazing and staff is very helpful. The number of books I wanted to take home was crazy! I ended up buying 3 travel books: Dubai, Bali and Singapore. Definitely check them out if you are in the area,

AMAZING legacy map store hiding near Pike Place market! Travel books, cards, gifts, local artworks, and of course maps of all kinds. Helpful staff can guide your search or let you explore. Don't miss this spot if you're in the area.

This was the cutest place that we happened to stumble upon! And I'm so happy that we did This place is obviously covered with all kinds of maps - local ones, foreign countries, world maps, etc. They also have travel journals, "scratch off" posters (to track where you've been), globes, postcards and even little desk-sized flags of every country in the world! I've been wanting to collect the flags of countries I've visited but never knew where to purchase the flags from (I'm also not much of an online shopper so I'm aware that I could find them online but I chose not to ‍) so I'm excited that we found this place! And I'm happy to say that my collection has now begun. Also, fantastic customer service!!! If you're unsure if they have something, just ask and they likely have it in the back.

We were visiting from out of town and I had been wanting to visit this store at Pike place! If you are a lover of all things maps and travel this is like map heaven for you! The staff were so friendly and kind, even to our pup! They have a ton of lonely planet travel books if that is your travel book brand of choice, but an incredible selection as well! They also have great posters of Seattle you can frame as a souvenir! Prices are fair and it's a great way to support local too! Parking is street parking of course so make sure to plan ahead!

Google maps didn't take me here, but my footsteps and my ever-wandering eyes sure did. And I'm so glad I decided to walk on in; this is MY STORE. From a young age, I've looked at maps and dreamed of what life would be like in other parts of the world. This place has allllll the maps (and more!). During my visit, I picked up some Christmas presents (bc it's never too early to shop, right? Lol). I'll make this a stop every time I find myself at Pike's!

Holy maps this was my kind of store! I felt so at home with every sort of map, guide book and travelers guide! I could of spent hours here looking over things. From all the older framed maps on the walls to the many hands on globes. This place is amazing, so many travelers gifts to purchase. Unique survey markers, pins, flags, charts and journals! I purchased a really cool wide note booked journal for traveling. Great price too! They also have these super cute homemade cards. I bought a few of those too! Can't wait to come back to this great store!

MAPS MAPS MAPS!!! Holy Mother of Maps!!!!! If your a map freak/geek.... this place is for you! They've got small-ginormous map options. Unusual maps! Globes! You can even find journals and notebooks made from old maps. Lots of the cards are made by local artist too!

My cousin and I were basically playing hide and seek because I couldn't find where she was. Lol. I had a hard time finding it, but once I finally did totally worth it! This cozy bookstore feels like stepping back in time. Shelves are stacked with a mix of used, vintage, and classic books, and honestly... they smell like it too. Lol. There's just something comforting about that old-book scent. You'll find everything from fiction and poetry to rare finds and children's titles tucked in the corners. It's small, quiet, and slightly perfectly imperfect in the best way because every shelf feels like a treasure hunt! The nostalgic vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Priced fair, service is fast. If you love books with history and personality, this is a sweet little hidden gem worth discovering inside Pike Place. A nice escape from the Market's buzz just you, the books, and that unmistakable paper and ink smell.

I walked in and didn't expect much, but we were exploring the levels of Pike Place because I didn't realize they had levels upon my last visit. I was also looking for a biscuit spot that was across the street. So we went back and forth, floor by floor and found this gem where we stopped to peruse the books. My husband found some books and bought them. The person working there was nice and helpful. It was clear that he knew his inventory, as my husband asked about a book and he led him to it. The value was good as well. I know that we will definitely be back, next time, I hope to spend a bit more time there. This isn't the most organized place, but if you are willing to look through the books and are open to the surprise find that awaits you, then this is the spot for all of that!

He also steered me into the directions of books that were absolutely hysterical. From "The Gas That We Pass", to "Everybody Poops", to perhaps my all-time favorite of "All My Friends Are Dead." I paid $27 more for the fantastic customer service that I received from the owner much more than the actual contents of the book that I purchased. Took me an hour to find Lion heart book store cause it's in one of the levels at Pike place and being such a small and crammed spot with many many stores was very hard to find. I totally will take the blame on my navigation skills but what was disappointing was calling multiple times and no one picked up my call - just for some tips or guidance. Next the owner wasn't in the store, there was this boy who no matter how well or how nicely I tried asking for tips on books or any details around books the only response I got was "unfortunately I don't have any info, you have to look up the books" gosh! That wasn't the help I was expecting and the boy refused to move from his spot or even try helping from the spot he was so comfortably perched on. No matter what, bad bad experience!
