My appointment did take about a month to book due to them already being booked solid which was a bit of a downer BUT they put me on a wait list and called me as soon as an appointment became available. Since I've worn glasses and contacts for 10+ years and having the first appointment of the day I was in and out of the exam room in 15 minutes. When it was time to pick out glasses I really was trying to stay with the 2 for $69 deal (includes eye exam) but instead I chooses two frames slightly above the ones part of the deal and decided to sign up for the eyecare club (3 years of 2 eye exams a year including contact fittings for only $100). With joining the eyecare club + two glasses at $69 each my total bill was only $199! A complete steal! I worked with Kaytlin and she walked me through the pricing step by step as well as telling me about additional things I could add for an additional cost. Never at any point did she or anyone else push me into buying more than I wanted and instead they took their time to find out what deals were best for me. You absolutely can walk out of there with two COMPLETE glasses and an eye exam for $69 but if you're interested in contacts or like frames outside of the $69 deal than talk with the associates and they'll work out the best deal for you. Not only do I have my eye exams and contact fittings paid for, for the next 3 years but it was only $100 and I have two complete glasses valued at $69 EACH for $99 TOTAL! The eyecare club also provides great discounts on your glasses and contacts so don't be afraid to ask and get all the details! Now I'm just waiting for my glasses to come in. Fingers crossed they come in soon and with no problems! Also keep in mind the fine print (I.e. prices are different for single vision vs bifocals, etc). Call them up or walk in and talk with them and they'll walk you through the process. UPDATE: I'm happy to say that my rating will stay the same for this location! My two pairs of glasses came in, in less than a week (they were quoted as taking upwards of two weeks to arrive). They fit like a charm and although my prescription has slightly changed (making it hard to adjust to at first) I was encouraged by Kaytlin to give them a few days before my eyes adjusted. She explained to me that it was important to wear the new glasses as much as possible only switching to my old prescription if I needed to drive or wasn't feeling well. Also to put the new glasses on first thing when I wake up, when eyes adjust more easily. She explained that if my vision didn't adjust after a week to come back in so they could make adjustments. Well in a matter of 48 hours my eyes adjusted and I felt great. No complaints here! The staff was incredibly helpful and the doctor was very thorough. This was a new and interesting experience, which the tech made comfortable and easy for me. Afterwards, when the technician personally walked me back to the friendly optical staff that had initially greeted me, it felt like rejoining new freinds. He states to his staff that he refuses to wear a mask due to some study presented to him at a conference he attended. It doesn't matter what study or conference you attended - the Governor mandated wearing masks in public and public-facing businesses. Not only that, but then he tells my children to take off their masks when conducting the exam. A board-licensed doctor essentially asked a child for consent to make a medical decision when the child's parent was in the waiting room. When I called to make these appointments, I specifically asked if they practiced the COVID-19 protocols, and they advised me that they did. On the outside looking in, it seems that they do, but for the doctor that never came to the waiting room, he obviously does not. This is ridiculous as a parent of children who are categorized as high-risk for COVID-19. I only found out afterwards, when my kids and I were eating dinner, and I called the clinic to question if this was true, and they confirmed it. After all that, I asked for my money back, and instead of giving me my money back, they charged me twice!

At check out, my balance due didn't sound like it reflected my insurance, I asked for a breakdown and found out my insurance had not been applied correctly. She asked for assistance from the office manager, she was not helpful at all. She come to me and said I didn't have contact lens coverage. I told her I should, I have had this insurance forever. I pulled up my coverage online and it clearly showed I had coverage, when I tried to show her, I was brushed off to the point where she wouldnt even come to talk to me, the receptionist told me I would have to call VSP. I did call VSP and they confirmed my contact lens coverage, I walked back in and requested to speak with Elena again so that the VSP rep could confirm it for her, I could see her in the back and she clearly didnt want to speak to the rep but came to the front anyway. My coverage was confirmed and the VSP rep gave her the authorization #. With that being said, after I had been there for a good 30 -45 mins because of their error, Elena never apologized or anything. She is very rude and arrogant, and then had the nerve to tell me what my allowance was as if I was going to give them anymore money. It was her office that pulled an authorization back in September on me without me knowing about it. My appointment was for today, October 16 and my daughters was back in September, so someone pulled one for me without me knowing. This is not my fault but theirs. I have been going to that office for the last 2-3 years as well as my children. I will not return. You have lost 3 customers. Have a great day!
