do not use this company! They are HORRIBLE…read more Took my money for a confirmed booking which host said never agreed to??? Host and VRBO both point fingers at each other that the reservation was confirmed incorrectly? Now I have no reservation and am fighting for refund. Customer service is awful - chat does not work no one ever answered chat window text- took forever to find a phone number and contact VRBO. The time to refund my money would not be expedited by VRBO! Escalated to supervisor who was just as bad as rep - they never apologized or made any effort to find a remedy- the host should be banned - their system needs to be fixed not to confirm bookings without host agreeing to reservation - refunds for their mistakes need to be timely. Agents need to speak to guests with respect! Will never use this company ever!

VRBO is a slumlord for CleanBNB…read more The property was filthy. There were huge stains on the couch and bedspread, literally actual feces on some of the linens, broken furniture, the only real chair sagged so deeply you almost sat on the floor, the jet tub (one of the main reasons we booked this apartment) didn't work. The "double" bed was just two mismatched futons of different heights taped together. The 3rd party host CleanBNB required that we go to a bar several blocks from the train station to retrieve the keys, from a bartender, in pouring rain, with luggage. I had to return to the bar to check-out. Check-in instructions came from a WhatsApp link from a number I had no knowledge of, like I'm supposed to start exchanging info about my international travels with some stranger I've never heard of. It was so sketchy I had to message the CleanBNB via VRBO messaging just to ask them if it was real. Host didn't respond to any messages after we were checked in. Host never sent a link to review the property, no link to review is available on the VRBO site. he actual host (CleanBNB in this case) is displayed in the smallest font size at the bottom of the page so it's easy to believe you are talking to the actual host conducting themselves under VRBO customer policies, when in fact you are getting an undisclosed agreement that you can't even view until after you have paid your booking. So here are some disgusting pics of the place and a link to what they claim is the property... https://www.vrbo.com/8913840ha

The property reminds me of something that you would see in a movie somewhere in the southwest where people are just trying to hide out and not be found. It has such a cute rustic feel, with a lot of Texas flair. From the minute you arrive, you are given great service, greeted with amazing sense of essential oil, oils and leather with their signature fragrance in the form of a candle or room spray. For just $30 we were able to check in early at 1 o'clock instead of three which was great since I drove in town and had a lunch reservation, this gave us time to get unpacked and rest for a minute before heading over to the restaurant. They have lots of options in the mini bar, whether you are wanting an adult drink or just something cold and fizzy. When we arrived, they did give us a complementary bottle of water as well as a cold beer that I sat out on our little porch and enjoyed as the rain started to come down. I love all of the detail put into these rooms, it is such an amazing property, but I'll be honest there were way more kids than I expected, but it was Easter weekend so I guess a lot of families were traveling. I really wanted to get into the pool, but it was massively crowded. They have an outdoor bar as well as a café on the property that has live music and an enormous fireplace and plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports. Every evening they light up the fire pits and if you want to make s'mores, you can purchase a s'mores kit for just $10. They do not allow smoking in the rooms but allow you to smoke on the little patio outside your door. This has definitely become one of my favorite places to stay in Austin, which is difficult because there are so many amazing places in Austin, but Lone Star has definitely stepped into my top five. The young man that checked us in was great and he comped our valet parking! Truly phenomenal service. I'm looking forward to coming back!

This boutique hotel delivers a resort-inspired experience with an upscale twist and is known for its vintage charm with modern amenities. I arrived on Friday night and check-in was efficient, I had to provide my credit card for incidentals. I was given a choice of beer or bottled water upon check-in. The host directed me to my room location. There were several parking lots on the property and I was able to park close to the building with my room which was convenient. The provided a parking permit for complementary parking. The rooms offer a seamless blend of modern comfort and relaxed luxury and well-designed with a very open floor plan with a farmhouse door separating the restroom from the bedroom area. I was on the third floor. Each room had rocking chairs out front for a relaxing vibe. I especially appreciated how easy it was to step right outside and be in a communal space. it made connecting with others throughout the weekend effortless. One of the highlights was the courtyard area. Whether it was live music, lounging by the pool, or just gathering around in the evenings, the atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming. It struck a nice balance between fun and laid-back. They had many communal areas set up with fire pits and a nice outdoor communal bar area where we held our silent disco. They also had a great event space where they hosted our group. The Water Trough bar and restaurant provided a breakfast and dinner dining experience. They also had an indoor bar area with live music for entertainment. Only issue was they did run out of food at dinner. The location in the Domain is also a positive. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, so there was always something to do between retreat activities. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the social atmosphere can get a bit noisy at times, especially if you're looking for a quiet stay. But for a group event or weekend getaway, it actually adds to the charm. We contributed to the noise with our outdoor kareoke set-up. Overall, Lone Star Court is a great choice if you're looking for something comfortable, stylish, and built for connection. Perfect for group retreats or anyone wanting a more lively, communal hotel experience.

Two years in a row now, me and my peeps have used this company to chauffeur us around the hill…read morecountry wineries. Beautiful idea, that. Depending on how many people you have and what kinda of car you want, they will tote you around in a shuttle bus, a limo, or even a stretch hummer. What is sooo cool about this company, is that they are so laid back about every event you schedule with them. They will let you bring ungodly amounts of food and booze on the bus or limo and you can get as loud and unruly as you want, as long as you don't puke in the vehicle. Last year got a little rowdy and alll the girls ended up pole dancing in the shuttle bus! We always bring party trays of sammiches, cheese n crackers, and lots of easy to drink beverages, like box wine or premade mixed drinks. We have them pick us up at my house at 10 am and they bring us back at 6. And in that time we are usually able to visit 5 wineries. When you call to set this up, talk to Bob. He will visit with you on the phone for a long time, finding out where you want to go and making recommendations on new places. He is a real sweetheart. The drivers have always been very helpful also in recommending places and in general by putting up with our drunken behavior i.e. pulling the limo into a convenience store to pee several times in route...... One more kindness they extended to me this year. We had reserved the airport shuttle style bus again as we had 10 people on our tour and low and behold pulling up in front of my house was the stretch hummer. I was a little nervous about a mixup but they said not to worry, the bus had a flat that morning so we just got upgraded....now that thing was pimped out! Blue running lights inside, nice stereo system (I bring my own cd's), and glasses and cups lining the backs of the seats. Only problem with the hummer is it is kinda difficult to get in and out of for older people or anyone with a gimpy leg. Only 2 back doors and a steep step down. Gotta crab walk if you are sitting near the front. Small regrets compared to a great day of hangin with my peeps, sampling wine and enjoying our hill country.

Their pricing is dramatically better than all the other companies I researched. When they showed up, they arrived with the stretch hummer limo - free upgrade due to an issue with the shuttle radio from the party the day before. Drive showed up almost right on time. Our driver was nice, knowledgeable and all the part-goers were very pleased. I highly recommend you visit the wineries n a Sunday instead of a Saturday. We visited 6 wineries and had the place to ourselves at most wineries. In contrast, when I've gone on a Saturday, the wineries were overwhelmed, which meant you received no personal service and had to wait in lines - and thus you visit less wineries. Sundays and Bluebonnet Wine Tours are the way to go.

One downside…read more(though this could be a plus for some) is that the hotel is situated rather far from downtown, and while I did not partake in their free shuttle service, it just seemed useless as the shuttle did not include downtown or airport pick ups/drop offs. The rooms were spacious enough and quiet. Even though on the Bonvoy login I had requested higher floor but I got a second floor which was fine, since this cut my "commute" time down to the first floor conference room by 5 min so I could literally roll out of bed 5 min before each session to get in on time. My husband had no difficulties logging on the internet for work as well. The on site amenities were really nice. The gym had all the free weights and machines one could ever ask for. There were both indoor and outdoor pools though neither my husband and I had used it. The UV index was lethal during mid March so we stayed indoors mainly and out of the sun. The conference rooms were clean and well maintained. The on site restaurants weren't bad either but service was leisurely slow. Sometimes we had to grab our own menus to get things started. There was a cafe in the morning staffed by two workers for quick bites but the long line made it impractical to get breakfast in a hurry. There was also a corner "store" next to hotel check in desk but nothing looked particularly appetizing. The hotel staff were helpful and responsive. I was given a card of on site daily hotel credits but the fine prints listed were confusing as they included museum tickets (but once I clarified w the staff they told me that the museum tix were merely suggestions of points of interest and not included - so poorly worded). While the housekeeping staff was friendly I had run out of body soap and shampoo (I find that these wall affixed amenities often don't get checked regularly during routine housekeeping clean ups) so I had to request a couple of times to get refills. While the hotel is situated in the suburbs, there are shopping malls next to it. During my stay I frequented places like CAVA for delicious bowls and salads as well as Cafe du Bliss for their amazing banana lattes and flavored croffles. Overall a pleasant and quiet stay, but out of the way from points of interest in Austin.
