I brought my car here based on reviews and I can confirm the 5 star rating is legit and deserved. My suspension was acting sus. So they checked out the sus suspension, and not only fixed it but addressed other issues without charging. Most shops will find issues and see it as a money grab. First choice does not. They communicate issues, fix it fast and don't charge an arm and a leg. Small town car repair shop and phenomenal small business vibes.

As a woman, it's hard to trust some of these places because they just want to poke your eyes out, but I did not get that at all. The perfect rating First Choice Auto has is rare but definitely accurate!! I won't go anywhere else for our repair needs.

Had them check out my alternator less than a month ago and they said it ran without battery and when I asked them to prove it, it shut off in front of me. I trusted their judgement still (stupid of me) and my battery is completely drained and I had to pay an extra $200 for a new battery because walmart was closed by time this happened. Convenient huh? I give them a two star because their professionalism was good and everyone makes mistakes on judging cars, but mistakes like this could've caused me to break down somewhere unsafe and it costed me $200.

After the diagnosis, I was told it would be done by the end of the day Wednesday or Thursday morning. I called Thursday and spoke with Eric, who told me it would be done by the end of the day or Friday because they had just received the part. I called again Friday, and once again I was told it would be done by the end of the day or Saturday morning. At that point, I told Eric that he had now given me essentially the same timeframe three times. Instead of acknowledging the delays or simply apologizing, he gaslit me and acted as if the conversations had never happened. When I pointed out that they record their calls and asked him to go back and listen to the conversation, he said he was not able to access it. What I don't appreciate is being repeatedly given a timeframe, making arrangements based on that information, and then being told something different each time I call, followed by having the conversation denied. I'm a single mom, and being without my car for nearly a week was extremely difficult. A little honesty, communication, and accountability would have gone a long way. I will never take my car here again, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you actually want your car back "kwik."
