Service was professional and the Salesperson led through me through the process and procedures just like I would have scripted it when I was writing my process and procedures for the Bank I retired from. They have a good selection of jewelry and lots of tools and work equipment. Interestingly enough they have a large selection of shoes, of the collectible kind. I love metropawn!; they are very efficient and I was quite surprised at the value they put on my ring that I pawned; because I pawned it elsewhere and got lots less. Ignore the negative reviews that are on Yelp, some folks default on their contract terms by failing to pay accordingly or retrieve their item..and that's why their item goes out of the safe and into the display case to be sold,. Duh!! Total rip off!! Bought a 20V Kawasaki drill for $70 dollars, came with case/charger etc. took the drill to work after charging, thing was completely worthless. I try to return it at the same location to the same employee, and they would not refund or do anything to help me. I was told that if it didn't work I could come back for store credit being that I didn't purchase the "protection plan" for more money. They sell garbage knowingly, and when you figure it out, they tell you to kick rocks. read more

I just wanted to leave a good review, for my visit today. full discloser I go in and borrow a few bucks now and again to go out and have some fun. For me it is much better than using a credit card, and it is just always a nice experience when I go in, everyone in the past four years have been very pleasant to me. Now for the praise ... I forget to ask the two ladies in there today their names... I didn't want them to think I was flirting, haha (maybe if I was 30 years younger... ) I am an old man and they were young women. anyhow, when I decided I wanted to spend a little money on a nice guitar amp, they really came though for me, I paid a great price for what i bought, and just enjoyed talking with these two smart, knowledgeable and pleasant women. I haves used MP for a long while, but I tried to redeem an item on it's due date, but the store was closed that day, even though they claim to be open 7 days a week. ( Not true) . When I showed up the next day, they charged me another months interest to redeem the item, even though THEY we're closed on the items due date, and had not notified about the closing, other than a note taped to the door. Very shabby business practice, and I will not be using them again. Very disappointed. read more

My husband purchased a gun on an auction site from this business. Ten months later he receives a call from the LV police telling him that the gun is stolen property and he has to surrender it the our local police. He contacts Metro Pawn tells them what happened. He has the complaint number that the police gave him and the officers name. He asks what they will do for him since he now has lost the gun that he paid them $400. The rude lady says they won't do anything for him. Really??? They sold him a stolen gun whether they knew it or not is on them. They received payment. They should go back on the person they bought the gun from. Buyers beware--- The item could me stolen and you will end up out the item and the money! DO NOT BUY FROM METRO PAWN!!! read more

METROPAWN is extremely helpful if your running short on cash. Yes, it is a little expensive but when compared to those bounced check charges that the banks charge, sometime $35 a check or more. it is far less expensive to borrow just what you need to make ends meet. Times are hard on everyone and it is good to have a place that say's "YES" without all those papers to fill out. All you have to do is bring something of value out of the closet and let them hold it for you until you can pay them back. You can take up to 90 days without having to make a payment but the cost will be more with the time you take to pay the loan back. The loan cost is clearly marked in boxes that say 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 Days. The paperwork is simple and easy to read with no surprises. read more

I went to metro based off reviews, I am not much of a pawner. My son told me to look on Yelp. To provide 5 stars is not enough for this place. My mother died. I was devastated. I honestly had no idea what to say or ask for. So I figured a little less than half of the air fare to the funeral.and no extra. I'm a middle class girl, only have a few items worth a loan on....my next plan ..., I could maybe I could get a title loan for the other half. And most likely lose my Jeep I had to pawn the most priceless item to me, my grammies wedding ring. I brought a few other items that I also had guess maybe . 50.00 bucks or less...or something. And instead of taking advantage of me. They offered me what was fair, They. ... Saved me...the hugged me when I sobbed,.I felt cared about and can pay for the whole flght, then some to go bury my beloved mother. Coolest thing ever. Great, rad people. So when I walked in the lady at the jewelry counter had was on the phone with some one, so I walked over to the gentleman at the counter, I was talking to the guy when the lady decided a to say I offered him a 100 dollars the for the system I had in my hand she assumed I was the guy who called for estimate on a Nintendo 2ds xl with a Mario game but I had a Nintendo switch with Mario kart 8 and donkey Kong , everything is like new with there proper boxes , next thing you know the gentleman man who called for the estimate walks in and he's like I called for a estimate on a Nintendo 2dsXL So she went on to help him So I tried to get a loan for 130 They guy said he couldn't do it he couldn't only offer me 70 for the system and 2 games for a Nintendo Switch, but yet the gentleman next to me who had a Nintendo 2dsxl with one game got 100 He tried to hustle me even though I just wanted a loan But hey I went to a different location same company and they said they NO PROBLEM will loan you the 130!
