Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the manager became rude and visibly upset because he couldn't clearly explain how the discount works. The interaction was uncomfortable, and even the employees seemed embarrassed--they were looking at each other because of the manager's behavior. I wasn't trying to argue; I just wanted clarification on the store's military discount policy. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when asking honest questions. A professional and courteous explanation would have gone a long way. I hope management works on improving customer service and communication.

The two elderly women I tried to return the only few items to were unwilling to let me explain myself. They would not refund the shoes and didn't even offer to help me find a size of jeans that fit they were trying to get me out so fast. After a discussion, it was confirmed that was the style and type she wanted, but it didn't have to be from that site. Enter Michael's. I showed them the site, the desired jewelry item, and there staff was able to match it. No, the price was not the same. There was a 23% increase after taxes and all. I'm ok with this. I have a local business, who sized her hand, made the adjustments to the item, and I have a warranty, and a place to have the jewelry item maintained. Top notch customer service also. Good clear communication, and when one rep was out, their internal communication allowed another one to pick right up and get the order going. Extremely pleased so far.
