We've all seen them - the bendy red buses that traverse busy regions of Sydney. Unlike the usual blue STA buses of Sydney, you need a prepaid ticket to hop on one of these badboys, the idea being that it'll be speedier. That's the whole point of these buses - they are faster and more effecient than their regular counterparts. Route vary, but are often very convenient and go distances that are too long for normal buses - Chatswood to Oxford Street? Sweeeeet! Parramatta to Macquarie University? Ideal!
They serve as a great substitute for our non-existent train service, and are also good value. However, like all buses, they're fallible to traffic conditions. Just hope you don't get stuck on one during a crash on the Harbour Bridge like me! read more
