I went there with the intention of purchasing a vehicle and was ready to move forward, but unfortunately, Alex and the staff showed very little interest in helping us. We waited for approximately 30 minutes, and during that entire time, no one seemed to care enough to properly assist us or even offer us a vehicle to look at or drive. What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing other customers arrive after us and receive assistance while we continued to wait. I was genuinely there to purchase a Cadillac and was ready to do business. Instead, I felt completely ignored and unimportant. A customer should not have to chase down a salesperson or wait around while other customers who arrived later are helped first. After about 30 minutes, I decided to leave. I drove directly to Colonial Cadillac of Woburn, where I received the complete opposite experience. Adam Liebermann and his team were professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me. As a result, I left Cadillac of Norwood and drove to Woburn, where I purchased a brand-new Cadillac OPTIQ. It is unfortunate that Cadillac of Norwood lost a customer who was ready to purchase a vehicle simply because of poor customer service. Kelley Blue Book estimated the trade-in value at around $9,500-$10,000. This dealership told me that Carfax showed the vehicle had been in an accident prior to my purchasing it in 2015, and because of that, they were only willing to offer me $6,000 versus the $9,000 they originally told me. Then they were extremely pushy wanting to make the deal ASAP. Fortunately, I still had the original Carfax report from when I purchased the car, and there was no accident listed on it. I felt the $6,000 offer was an extreme lowball, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Their loss! I purchased my new vehicle elsewhere as well. I'm very glad I did. Another dealership gave me $10,000 for my trade, and they sold the Avalon within days. I believe it was listed/sold for somewhere around $18,000. My advice: Do your own research and get more than one trade-in offer before accepting what a dealership tells you your vehicle is worth. In my case, getting a second opinion made a $4,000 difference. I would not trust this dealership with a trade-in.
