Disgusting service! Was at Sainsburys in West Green when an old man fell outside in the rain. We helped him up and Sainsburys brought out a wheelchair for him. He was very wet and said his taxi was 5 mins away. After 15 mins no taxi so we rang Metro who said they hadn't caught his name or address (no idea why didn't just send taxi anyway as the guy was clearly old!) So we booked for him and they said they'd be 15 mins. 20 mins later no taxi, rang again and they said driver was on another job (they knew he was old, had fallen over and was wet & cold so not sure why didnt prioritise? ).Finally after Sainsburys security rang them as well they turned up, an hour after should have been there! We got him into taxi and the driver basically asked us what he wants us to do with him, he's old doesn't want to take him. We explained we don't know him so can't go with him. He then just sped off in huff! We've told Sainsburys not to use Metro and advise that no one does! When we rang to complain to Metro the guy said he didn't understand and was confused (even though was the same guy we'd been talking to all night) and said let me put you through to someone and it just went through to answerphone! They will probably just delete the message. I hope the old guy got into his house OK but don't bet on it as the drivers attitude stank! AVOID read more
