I opted to use the cashier service several times and the cashiers were always very friendly. The times that I used the self-checkout, their attendant was very courteous as well. When I arrived the first time, the staff were incredibly kind and helped lift me and my wheelchair over the small step at the front, which I really appreciated. Once inside, the aisles are spacious, well-marked, and easy to navigate with a wheelchair. Anything that was out of reach wasn't an issue at all because the staff were very friendly and happy to help. We made it work with their English and my French, which made the experience more enjoyable. My return visit the next morning was much smoother since it was daylight and I already had a sense of layout. The staff were even friendlier the second time around. The hot food was really good--maybe not as much variety as I'm used to, but still very satisfying. The chicken wings were fresh, hot and well prepared, the potato wedges were well seasoned, large and hot! Checkout was quick and easy, with registers at both the front and back of the store. They also accept all forms of payment, which made things convenient. Overall, a really positive experience, especially because of how helpful and welcoming the staff were.

The manager who came to process the problem was aggressive and disbelieving of my complaint and told me that I only had 48 hours to return the produce. He eventually took them back but I was made to feel that I was in the wrong and he gave me a story that they spot checked fruit from the cartons. I offered that he should open up any of the untouched apples I was returning - I knew they were all bad. He declined and eventually gave me a refund. An altogether unpleasant experience. I don't know this man's name but I can find out who it was. They could do better and the manager could have been more accommodating and less could have had a less distasteful attitude.

The produce section is large and their ethnic food section has quite a few items I didn't expect to find at a discount supermarket. Prices seem to be generally lower than most supermarkets out there. Their bread section I used to hate but it seems to have improved a lot in the past while. The place was newly renovated in the past two years and they even have useful albeit somewhat unexpected services like Western Union money transfers. I give it four star rating, not quite the ideal grocery store for me but definitely quality for price.
