The staff are quick, friendly and are clearly taking this situation seriously and I can't tell you how much that means to us. The peace of mind of knowing that your groceries hadn't been sneezed on by a million panic shoppers was 100% worth the wait. Bonus: we were able to buy an enormous, restaurant sized bag of flour. The Metro feels way more like a family grocery store than the ginormous Super C on the highway and if I need to pick up a few quick things after working in the Couleur cafe I'll pop over here. The produce and meats and fish seem fresh, though I'd love to see more of an emphasis on local sustainable providers. Fish in particular should always be clearly marked with its origin since this industry is so dirty and problematic these days. The staff are super friendly and bilingual for the most part, and again this grocery has a surprisingly good selection of local microbrews and then the usual SAQ wines. All in all a great option in the area!

It basically has everything you need to arrive in Mont Tremblant, come to the store and be ready to cook breakfast and dinner the next day. The store is on the bus route and has a stop right at the front entrance. We stayed in the Old Village, less than a five minute walk to the store, so for us it was heaven sent. We were impressed at the quality of their food and most of all, their cheeses. They have a wide selection of ready-to-warm items which came quite handy as after a full day of skiing, there is little energy left to engage in from-scratch cooking. Staff is helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Overall, a most convenient, and well stocked place.

On checkout, the cashier rudely told me to bag while emptying my grocery cart, which was quite full. She was rude and came across as being racist since I am of East Indian origin. She also suggested that I Van shop elsewhere. She seemed polite to other non Caucasian customers and so this is a clear case of discrimination. I was upset and left the store with a full cart of groceries without purchasing anything . I sincerely hope you look into this matter and give it serious consideration as I will definitely be sharing my experience to others. I did want to update to add that they have an amazing big smoker that sits in the parking lot smelling crazy delicious. There is a small area in the butcher section of house smoked goods - we tried the trout last week and it was just so flavourful. We chatted with the gent in charge of the smoker and he said if you call a couple days in advance you can get a whole fish smoked for you, or a cut of local meat. Later that day we were at a tiny community festival in the park, and a few people from the Marché were there giving out free bites of waffles, and they recognized us right away from earlier in the day and said hi and made sure we'd remember their names for next time. All this to say, long live small town grocers!

They have a small store on their farm in Brebeuf but this review is for their general store located along the 117, slightly north of St-Jovite and the big grocery stores. I love their emphasis on local and organic produce. In addition to selling vegetables from their own farm, they partner with multiple producers in the region, so I can always find fresh eggs or chicken that was raised in the next town over. They also try to be as zero-waste as possible, offering flours, nuts, coffee, etc in bulk, which is not easy to find in this area. The pick-up concept is simple- you make a list of items you need and someone does your groceries while you're on the phone with them. I was really grateful because one of the employees spent over 10 minutes on the phone with me and made a lot of suggestions when something was missing. It's a small store but they have everything you may need, from fruits & vegetables, frozen meats, dairy products to shampoo bars and cleaning products. The pick-up service is free but delivery costs $15 and they only deliver within a 15m radius. My order was ready within a few hours and I picked it up on their porch. It was safe and it felt nice to know that my parsnip didn't travel a billion km before ending up in my basket.
