Ash and Jill are fantastic with our dog! We've been going to Metro Pets for 3 years and it's absolutely worth the drive!

Very disappointed with my experience at Metro Pets Natick. We have been a total of 3 times with 3 dogs each time. The last two times one dog came back with severe back pain and needed to be taken to the vet to get pain meds because of mishandling at the front desk and this last time one of the dogs came home with bronchitis. This is unacceptable from a certified fear free groomer. We will be taking our business to a groomer that follows the fear free certification and is not spreading diseases. read more

I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets. read more

First time going here today, but not our first groom with Jasmine!!! First off our pet Pomeranian is very picky when it comes to things like this. He has snapped, growled, and shook nervously with previous groomers and stylists, but with Jasmine she has such an amazing way with animals with her calm demeanor and kindness and does an AMAZING job grooming our pet!!! We are also picky about the cut too since our pom has sensitive areas, and his places where he has to be super sanitary. She remembers all our requests and never fails to amaze us with her awesome job!!! Best part was he used to hate going to places like this literally shaking of fear, but everytime I pick him up after his cut with Jasmine he's always super happy running around, getting hugged, and playing around with the staff and other dogs (almost like he doesn't want to go home)!!! This to me is soo priceless!!! So after picking up our pom today with an amazing cut! I had a chance to chat with the staff and she was also very, very kind, and loved our pet (and explaining how well he behaved), and also very knowledgeable about the treats they offered in the shop! Overall experience 10/10, highly recommend this personalized, high customer service, knowledgeable pet boutique to everyone!!! I took my 2 pups here for the first time on Wednesday. My little guy got the full service with wash and cut while my big girl just got the wash. They were very helpful throughout the booking process, very responsive, and provided me with a quote for both. Drop-off was easy. Everything was great. During the groom, I got a text to let me know that it's taking a bit longer than they expected due to the matting on my little guy and that he was "having some feelings about his head area" so it's taking a bit longer. When I went to pick up, I was told that he had a little cut on his ear but they cleaned it up and put hydrogen peroxide on it. I could see the area was red and bloodied. They didn't offer an apology so I figured it must've been a little nick. I left it alone for a few days because he was still pretty sensitive around that area and it's close to the inside of his ear so I waited until this morning to see how bad the cut was. I was shocked. It's less of a cut and more like a chunk of his ear got snipped off. It's scabbed over and bloodied still but you can see there's a small piece of his ear missing. No wonder it took longer than expected, he must have been so hurt and scared! I wish they told me the extent of his cut so that I wouldn't be so shocked to find it. I understand dogs are unpredictable so things happen but the truth about what happened would've been appreciated. Other than that, the service itself was good and the dogs were super soft and smelled great. But I probably won't come back due to the accident and lack of communication; it is not something I want to experience again. And I'm sure my poor guy doesn't either. read more

The owner doesn't respect her customers! My wife waited outside for 40mins. Called the place 4 times and knocked on the door, for are dogs grooming appointment . This place has a cancelation policy if we miss the appointment, but when the receptionist calls out and no one is there for the cliests appointment. The owner says, " its not our fault". I don't need a free groom , but they say buisness is competitive and still want to charge us. I advise everyone to find another place, if your time is just as valuable as mine. Thank you read more

We brought our puppy there for a grooming. I told them her type of breed (Spanish water dog) is not supposed to be brushed or dried with a blower as it is rustic and should be clipped only to keep the curls. When I picked up my dog, she was shaved, brushed and blow dried specifically how I asked not to have her groomed. This is a breed many are not familiar with but I explained what I wanted and they could brush only her bottom to help with matting but not to blow her out and she was fluffed out like a poodle. I also asked for just a clipping trim of her hair around her eyes and under her chin to keep it short until we are ready for her first full cut. Her ears and whole face was shaved in a way I did not request. I also left with blood all over my hands and in my car from my dog Bleeding from her nails being clipped too short. Not only was she not clipped exactly how I asked not to trim her but she left with her nails BLEEDING on 2 paws. Finally, I was told I would get a 15 minute heads up to pick my dog up did not get a call to come get her until she was finished. Unfortunately I will not be going back here as the groomer did not take the time to understand the dog she was grooming. We like this place a lot for their self wash station. The customer service is very friendly and they thoroughly explain everything for you. It's a small business so they really care about each customer who comes in which is nice. There is one room for washing and it's just one station. I would call ahead or else you might end up having to wait. A lot of their pet products are locally made and they have a nice treat bar (free oz with yelp check in). read more

My dog Brooke and I always have a lovely time stopping in for food and treats at Metro Pet. Fantastic and personal customer service and excellent selection make it a pleasure! We recently completed the basic commands class with Jill. Brooke is now a pro at sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, and my husband and I are much better at training with positive reinforcement and consistency! I very much recommend Metro Pet over those large pet stores because the prices are comparable but the advice and guidance really helps me pick the best item (treat, toy, leash, etc) for my dog. Great place. Lots of items for dogs. I love the self wash. I don't have to deal with pet hair clogging the bathtub, stuck everywhere in the house, or wet dog. Great tub at a workable height, towels, a dryer, shampoos and most bathing products to meet your needs. They even had some skunk scent removing shampoo, who wants to deal with that in the house? Went there, got both dogs done in less than half the time. Room big enough to have someone in there with you to help. I have two Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Usually takes me at least two hours to wash them and another two hours to brush and trim their nails. Went with my husband, he washed I worked on brushing, nails and blow drying. Got it all done in under an hour. It takes me that long just to get them to the groomer at the big box store and back. Very genuine and friendly staff. The place a candy store for dogs, more treats than you can shake a stick at. Lots of local and handcrafted pet items to support the community. They also offer dog sitting and dog walking services. read more

I just went here for the first time and lo and behold there was Jill sitting behind the counter. I had met her long ago in 2007 when I needed someone to walk my beloved Labrador Retriever and she and her dog walkers were marvelous. I was so thrilled to see her running this new place in Natick or at least new to me. I needed a place to wash my friend's dog and I normally would have gone all the way to Newton. Marked down because I showed up today to find the door locked despite being listed as open. Had already paid for parking, but had to go over to dog wash in Newton. read more
