Everything super size of the layout is different than most "normal" Publix' but I like this one for some reason the ambience is exactly what you think it's Publix. The food is Publix food so you know it's good too although I don't like to use bio engineered food ingredients and all their bakery stuff now that's a little bit weird I didn't notice that until 2025 but I love Publix or pub subs or infamous their cakes or infamous and they got really great customer service. She hadn't been herself, but she told us tales of great bargains other customers told her about. Those other customers weren't wrong. As with all discount grocery stores, the items inside vary widely from week to week. The thing to note about Tin Can Pam's is that there is usually a good amount of gluten free and low carb items at radical discounts, which is terrific for people with dietary restrictions who are trying to navigate our current crazy prices. The frozen section can be tempting, but I'd encourage you to know your prices before you head in. Some of the frozen veggies were just average price, and, in fact, I could get a larger quantity for cheaper at Publix. That doesn't mean the quality isn't terrific. It is. Just be aware of all the prices if you're cost cutting. Also, there are really great sales on meat in the frozen section that are clearly restaurant overstock. If you've got a freezer, you could fill it up nicely. There were porterhouse and top sirloin steaks for $7.99 each while we were there, and from their Facebook, steaks make a regular appearance. Something to think about if you have some freezer space to fill. The aisles are very tiny, and the building is older. Be prepared to be patient as you navigate through the store with a cart, as there's a lot of negotiation of space with other carts and customers. Worth it for the bargains, but if you're frustrated easily, maybe try getting there early to avoid a crowd.

Publix really sets itself apart with that alone--but the experience goes well beyond it. They offer an impressive variety of freshly prepared foods, and their in-store dining area makes it easy to order something on the spot and enjoy it right there. From pizza and sandwiches to sushi, hot dishes, salads, fried items, and a large self-serve food bar, there's pretty much something for everyone. They even have a great smoothie bar and a cappuccino bar, which is a nice touch. On my last visit, I picked up several sushi items to take home for lunch, and everything was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and far better than what you'd expect from a typical grocery store. They also offer solid poke bowls, soups, and plenty of other choices if you're looking for a quick but satisfying meal. All in all, it's a great place to shop and an easy spot to grab a bite while you're at it.

I was splendidly surprised! This space is on the second floor with a nice view, plenty of seating, clean restrooms, microwave and eating supplies. Oh and Publix plays some nice music as well., Feel free to go to the grocer hungry! Publix has a space for you to sit and enjoy some delicious eats. Note: Not all Publix have this space. I deducted stars because the convenience you get by going through a drive-thru amid a pandemic is derailed by the fact that no one wears a mask or seems to follow any safety protocols. The man who took my order didn't wear a mask even though he comes up to you to take your order or get your payment. There were also at least five family members who came walking up and past my car to get into the shop while we waited. One of those members then eventually was the one to give us our order without a mask. A note about the pizza from the $4 pizza special I'd like to mention is that it is similar to the small frozen pizzas that you get at the dollar store. To be fair that person who took the order made a point of pointing out that the pizza was small and from the freezer, but for the sake of patronizing a local business and being open-minded, I tried it anyway. The selection seems to vary with many things from chips and soda to laundry soap or WD40. The staff was also friendly.
