The only difference between a Metro PCS customer and a passenger on the Titanic was they had a real band. Metro PCS will sell you a phone and call it unsinkable but the iceberg is looming a head sooner than you think. I was with this company for 6 months. This particular location can never seem to open on time (in theory, 10 am) but it usually takes an hour or two for an employee to arrive and unlock doors so noon maybe be more accurate. Two trips in the rain later, and I have a snotty "manager" tell me he could do none of the things the company had promised on the phone if I just took the phone into a store. The store "manager" also dumped on me humiliating platitudes like "have a nice day" all right after I had paid the company for another month of service. Classic rip off for a cell phone company. The phone support by the corporate headquarters is nearly impossible to access, then it is off to what I suspect is an Indian call center. Very polite, but of no help at all, completely circular. All the Metro PCS locations are separate franchises, so it's basically a shell game where no one has to take responsibility for phones or service or whatever. I am shopping for another service provider today, rolling the dice, but hopefully this review will save you the trouble of having the same experience as a Metro PCS customer. It IS to be avoided. I really wish I had. read more
