I am putting 1 star because I do not have a option to go lower. This store doesn't lack customer service, it simply just doesnt exist at all. The so called manager is rude and states she has no Supervisor so basically if you dont like what your told you have no other option. My advice is if you choose to do business with Metro PCS stay clear of this store, there are other locations in the area that provide a much higher level of customer service read more

The customer service in this store is LACKING! I went in to ask a question about a phone that I was trying to activate for my daughter. While trying to give the details, the guy kept interrupting and talking over me. (I just needed to make sure I could get a sim card for the phone) He would not let me explain. Then he told me I'd have to bring the phone in. I told him that the phone was in Chehalis with my daughter (Over 50 miles away). He said "That's not too far. I use to live there." and "They just built a new high school there" I said "No they didn't. I was just there last weekend." He said "Yes they did. Its state of the art"........OMG, first of all Chehalis did not just build a new high school. Second, I felt like the guy really didn't want to help me, but rather was looking for an argument. As I was walking toward the door, with my 2 year old grandson, to leave, I could hear him laughing and talking about me. RUDE!!! I went to this location because it's close to my house, but I will never go there again! I'll drive out of my way to go to a different one. read more

A letter I had wrote metro PCS regarding a store in spanaway wa, and I figured I would share here to warn others. Greetings! I would like to share my store experience at 14912 Pacific avenue south, tacoma wa 98444 with employee Richard. I went in hoping to purchase a phone for my teenage niece after hearing wonderful things about your service, however today I was proven wrong. Between 3:45-4:00pm on October 18th I walked in after a woman who wanted to add a line to her account, she was treated with total disrespect as if she was dirt beneath his shoes. We weren't even in the store for 5 minutes and he is talking over her, cutting her off during mid-sentence and even told her to "be quiet and let me talk for a minute". To my understanding the woman had purchased a phone from walmart that could not be activated according to his computer. He then held the phone back from her in the air in front of several people and said "Where did you get the phone" followed by "prove it I would like to see a receipt" as of now he is treating her as if she is a criminal and stole the phone and all eyes are on her. She asked to call a customer service Rep and after he had talked for several minutes he finally allowed her, come to find out the phone was a stock phone that was mistakenly sold and needed to be released from walmarts inventory (in no way was this the customers fault), after being accused of stealing you would think she would have received an apology but she didn't. Despite all this she still paid her bill, walked out embarrassed with tears on her face. After witnessing this, I walked next door and purchased a phone with sprint and receive the best customer experience from them. read more

I recently heard a radio ad promoting some promotions for metro pcs. I came into this location to ask about the promotions I heard about. When I walked in the floors looked dirty and the store wreaked of perfume scent causing my asthma to flare up, as i walked in I over heard a man and girl arguing in the back room. The girl named who I later learned was named Valerie came to the counter to speak to me. She was dressed wearing revealing clothing completely inappropriate for a young girl. As she paraded to the counter she smugly asked what brought me in with food still in her mouth. I explained I wanted more information about the advertisement I had heard about. She said she would give me a quote. She did not attempt to qualify me. Just assumed what phone I would get. Every time I tried to ask a question she would interrupt me rudely. Implying she knew more than I did. The man then came up front to see what all the commotion was about. They began to argue in front of me. Valerie saying the man didn't know what he was talking about. She informed me she was the manager. She quoted me for a $15 processing fee if i didn't buy a case and said that I had to pay a $10 promotion fee to get a discount on the phone. Since when does someone have to pay for a promotion? A few days later I came back in, the man was in the back room I assume on the phone bragging that he just "ripped the wig off of someone with a sale"...... he heard me come in and said he would be right there with me. When he came to the counter, he did not appear to recognize me. I proceeded to ask the same questions I had asked the employee a few days before and he quoted me an even higher rate for the same phone and plan stating that he was giving me a "bundle deal" When I asked about another device that was more expensive he tried pushing me away from the product. He implied I could not afford it. Every time I asked a question he would talk over me. To the point of shouting. How this man, Richard was his name, has any happy customers I do not know. I left with out buying anything. My wife, went in the next day thinking she would receive a different customer service experience, went in and talked to Valerie. This time Valerie quoted my wife the same amount Richard had quoted me the day before. She told me that was the price and if i didn't like it I could go somewhere else. While leaving the store my wife overheard Valerie as she was walking into the back room that my wife was a "dumb bitch." My family will never buy anything from this location. The employees are rude, with little knowledge of the product they sell. They push price and nothing more. They seem to take little pride in the appearance of the store and it had an odor of rotting food near the counter. The next week I received a quote from a location inside the mall $25 less (surprise no process or promo fee) DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND GIVE YOU A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! read more
