Then after the 30 days all I had to do was drop down to the $35 flex plan. I told her I'm going to call back if that's okay well I still get the same deal you know I was like this is recorded said yes the line's recorded. I call back I explained to them what I was told they said oh no nope we don't have that they would never say that I said well you can go back and listen to the recording she's like yep my manager is listening to it okay. She puts me on hold comes back and says yeah we can't find that recording you never called today oh I have proof I called today because I have the number the time or when I called I called twice two times today. If I didn't have such a good deal on my three lines I would not be with this company. They are horrible they lie they cheat they're sneaky they are pathetically untrained unprofessional ignorant people. I went to meto pcs in the mall in Providence place mall at about 3pm to ask a question about my phone and the girl was no help at all.she refused to help me. WOW. I have another issue with Metropcs. I lost my charger so I went to Metropcs to replace it. When I bought the new one I specifically asked if I find my charger can I return the new one and she said yes. I found my charger I went back to the Hartford ave. Location and was denied a refund.SAD. 99% of business will return a refund with a receipt sadly metro is not one of them. SAD,SAD,SAD. The little short manager and all the employees in this location are extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. I went in to simply switch my service from one phone to another unlocked phone, the whole processe took 5 minutes, and cost around 25$, no problem there. Once I got home I noticed that I did not have any of my contacts, apps or emails on my phone. I am not a very tech-savvy person so I did not know how to get that data onto my new phone. to make a long story short I ended up having to go back to the store three times over a two-day period for something that could have quickly been done in store in 10 mins, I know this because after much frustration I found a video on YouTube that walked me through it step-by-step. They also change the rules day to day about how many customers can be inside of the store at one time , but then touch 10 different cell phones without washing their hands......ok read more

I've had Metro for over three years I'm supposed to be some type of VIP customer. I have never ever had such terrible customer service in my whole life! None of the representatives of a consistent knowledge about terms and conditions. I have dealt with so many rude condescending Representatives in the past month I couldn't even count. I got an issue with my data and internet and every representative that I talk to you has been less than helpful. I've been hung up on because they couldn't resolve the issue. My intelligence has been insulted more than a few times because they can't figure out why my data is being used up when it's not being used. Multiple tickets have been filed and then when I called to find out the status there's no history of them. I just got off the phone with the lady who I requested her to file a ticket because some of my data was used without my Hotspot being on and she refresh my network and hung up on me. But then I'm told that they don't do Network refresh is because it damages the SIM card which is 100% not true! Constant fake facts! When I do need a Network refresh they refuse to do it and when I don't need one they do it without warning. I am definitely switching to a different phone company and I have never been so upset and angry with my customer service in my whole life I hate Metro by T-Mobile ! read more

I have an iPhone 6S which I have insurance on and in the month of December 2020 it ended up being damaged because I dropped it. Now I took the phone to the Metro PCS on Admiral Street and the associate told me I could get a replacement phone if I called the insurance company but "forgot" to mention I would have to pay a $200 deductible after he took my payment for my bill and gave me the wrong number to the insurance company. Due to it being Christmas time and I do have 2 small children I could not afford to pay a $200 deductible and I have not been able to make or receive any calls or text messages in over 2 weeks and my phone is active. I went to the Metro PCS on Dorrance Street today on January 1,2021 which the staff was incredibly rude in front of my 2 children oh and i'm still without a phone. read more

What a nice staff! I was downtown and received a notice from messenger on my smartphone. It looked suspicious, like it might have a virus, so I wanted to delete it ASAP but couldn't figure out how. Well, I walked into Metro PCS, where I do not have an account, and asked Littel for assistance in this matter. It didn't matter to her that I was not a customer, she helped me without hesitation and resolved the issue. What amazing customer service, when my current plan runs out, I'm definitely going to look for Littel at Metro PCS. read more

The manager Eddie (Edilberto?) at the Providence/Dorrance St location is bullying and deceptive. When I called he said he'd honor the official, Metro published offers on the metropcs.com website. When I came to the store (twice), Eddie said the website offers no longer apply since Metro regularly alters the store "deals" while the website offers are only valid "if you buy online" which is untrue since the website sells no phones (instead of "buy now" buttons, you only see "Find a store" buttons). Eddie made up his own "deal" on the spot, progressively worsening his "deal" over time by requiring mandatory accessory purchases on each line and requiring the highest rate plan since they would be "better for you". Most people call this tactic "bait and switch". He finally resorted to threatening to sell the iPhones I had on hold to other people if I didn't take his "deal" - quite shady and despicable. He said "I'm a salesman and will always do what's best for my store" which included the outright lying and the bullying of customers as a necessary means to his end. I declined his deal and walked out knowing that we customers have other, nicer, and more honest choices of companies to work with. This is a sad reflection on both Metro and by extension T-Mobile for allowing someone as shady as this to run a corporate Metro store and propagate deceptive and cruel business practices. read more
