I checked, waited till my name was called Robert mispronounced my name (no big deal) I corrected him and he proceeded to say it wrong again on purpose with a shoulder shrug. Next I am trying to exchange my equipment and he tells me they don't have it in the store, so I ask if he can have it delivered to my home he immediately tells me no and that I can call customer service, it didn't make sense to me so I ask why, he says it's not a service they do in store I know this is untrue because I've done this in the past when I was informed they didn't have the equipment. So I ask to speak to the manager and after I explain the situation I am informed that Robert can assist with sending the equipment to my home. I inform the manager that Robert said he couldn't. So Robert assist with sending the equipment to my home I ask for a confirmation number once again Robert doesn't want to do his job and he tells me I can get it offline. This is not the experience I expected in store. This is also why most ppl prefer doing everything online. This is also why I will be also calling corporate and continuing my complaint, I didn't come on my lunch break to be provided rude unsatisfactory service when all I needed was to swap my equipment out so I can use the internet I pay for. The manager was nice and effective in assisting me, however if Robert is still at this location I will not be returning he needs a lot of training.

They will NOT unlock the phone despite it being paid off, I'm told I have to wait for sixty days even though I have no service. They will not help me in store ("there's nothing we can do" - RUFKM?) and you cannot get a human on the phone. Their ridiculous AI phone system locks you into a doom loop while leaving the problem unsolved. ATT is in breach of my contract - my phone and service are paid for but they don't work - and ATT will do nothing to help. Steer far away from this store and scumbag corporation. "Valuing your business" is reflected in they service - they will offer you NONE. Please stay away. Try Consumer Cellular. The one great thing about Cricket Wireless is that they have a trial available where you could try…read moretheir service alongside your current provider to make comparisons in performance between the two. I downloaded the Try Cricket app on my iPhone and tested it out with my then-current provider. I was convinced to switch to Cricket after I tried using my cell phone in my church's basement level (we are meeting there temporarily until the church's roof can be refurbished). My then-current provider had NO signal at all, yet Cricket still had a signal, even though it showed one signal bar on my phone. I then switched later that week online, after which I received an email notifying me that it would take 2 business days to switch over. I had seen the Cricket Wireless store adjacent to the Walmart on South Street, so I decided to stop by to see if they could speed up the process of getting me switched over. The employee on duty, Emely, was helping other customers who were there before me, so I had to wait a short while. When she was ready, she called me over and I explained my situation with proof that I had made the switch online; I just needed to make the switch complete on my device. It was a bit of a laborious process for Emely (she was helping other customers in between), but she punched a few buttons on my iPhone and told me that I was finally switched over to the Cricket Wireless network. :-) I signed up for the $55.00/month unlimited data plan. Since I elected to have my monthly payments on auto pay, I get a $5.00 discount, so I end up paying $50.00/month. Emely was very welcoming, friendly, and patient while she got the process started in switching me over to Cricket. So far, the service is working flawlessly. I highly recommend the service and this particular Cricket store for sure.

When I walked over to the shop to drop off my phone, I was told it would take 40 minutes. I came back about an hour later. Thuan explained to me what he did and that my phone had a new, fully-functioning battery. I was impressed that he was able to get this done rather quickly. The price he quoted me for the battery replacement was $80.00, which I thought was a fair price. If I ever need service on my phone again, I will not hesitate to come back to Thuan's shop. For anyone in the local area, I highly recommend Xpress Cellular Repair for cell phone servicing.

I have been a customer of Xpress Cellular Repair for OVER 10 YEARS, and after my most recent…read moreexperience, I will never spend another dollar with this business. Just 46 days ago, I paid them $200 to replace the screen on my iPhone. Now, less than two months later, the screen has developed a bright pink line running straight through the middle of it. You would think that after more than a DECADE of giving a local business your money, they would stand behind a $200 repair that failed after only 46 days. Apparently not. I spoke with the owner and his wife, and rather than taking care of a longtime customer, they refused to honor the repair because their warranty is only 30 days. Let that sink in. A $200 iPhone screen lasts 46 days, and their response is essentially: you are 16 days outside our warranty, so that's your problem. I understand having warranty policies. What I don't understand is selling a customer a $200 screen that fails in a month and a half and then hiding behind a 30 day policy instead of standing behind the quality of your work or the parts you sell. And what makes this especially disappointing is that I wasn't some random first time customer. I supported Xpress Cellular Repair for OVER 10 YEARS. Ten years of customer loyalty apparently isn't worth 16 days of flexibility. That's the part that tells me everything I need to know about how this business values its longtime customers. If you're considering getting an expensive phone repair here, I would strongly recommend asking yourself one question first: What happens on day 31? Because based on my experience, if that repair fails shortly after their 30 day warranty expires, you may be stuck paying for it all over again. After more than a decade as a customer, they've lost my business over their refusal to stand behind a $200 screen that lasted 46 days. Extremely disappointing way to treat a loyal customer. UPDATE: Then the owner respond to my Yelp review as well as my Google review and says there was physical damage to my phone (which there isn't), to cover himself for the public. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. These people are about profit, not community, or standing on the products that THEY SELL! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

1 Star - Terrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs…read more Back in Dec 2024 I brought my Samsung Galaxy Flip5 to The Fix at the Lakewood Mall to repair a spreading dead pixel on the inner screen. The total cost was $551.24, and I deeply regret ever trusting this shop with my phone. Before the repair, my phone worked perfectly--I had strong cell signal everywhere I went, hardly any dropped calls, and fast internet speeds. After The Fix replaced the inner screen, my phone became nearly unusable. Calls began dropping constantly, internet searches would either take forever or not load at all, and I had little to no signal, even at home where I previously had full bars. I did some research and learned that with Samsung Flip phones, replacing the inner screen is tricky and requires carefully reconnecting an antenna under the screen that controls cellular reception. I suspected that the employee at The Fix failed to reconnect it. When I brought the issue back to his attention, the same employee who worked on my phone refused to take any accountability. He made one successful phone call on my phone and claimed that proved there was no issues, insisting he "does good repair work." He told me to come back again if the issues persisted, but why would I trust the person who broke my phone to fix it correctly the second time--especially when he refused to recheck his own work the first time I asked? I ended up taking my phone to uBreakiFix in Downey. They confirmed the phone had been incorrectly repaired, and although they offered to fix it for the same price I had already paid, I chose to cut my losses and just buy a new phone. With the same SIM card, same cell phone service provider, and using my new phone in the exact same locations as before, my new phone has zero issues--no dropped calls, fast internet, and full bars all the time. To me, this confirms that the problem was 100% caused by the repair from The Fix. I had my Flip5 repaired at the location that's close to the T-Mobile inside the mall, but I would avoid both of the locations of The Fix inside the Lakewood Mall. They are unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly not trained to handle complex repairs--especially for newer devices like the Samsung Galaxy Flip5. I wasted over $550 and was left with a broken phone. Learn from my mistake and take your electronics somewhere else.
