As for T-mobile as a provider, they are better than Sprint was, yet they have lots of room for improvement. They misrepresent things and don't take responsibility when there is,a problem.. Customer service has been great at times, other times they have been patronizing and down right rude. Wait times are ridiculous when you call in and of course they want you to use the app and do the work so they don't have to pay someone to do it. I spent hours on the phone to get a rebate i was promised and it took many phone call and weeks to resolve. Pay attention and get everything in writing. If you are not tech savvy, I would not recommend T-mobile.

She called the store earlier this week, spoke to someone she did not get name but said he was nice, confirmed they had flip phones about a half dozen. Called today and they had one/1 left so we went right over. Leisha T. helped us, got my mum a chair, went over options buying phone up front or paying in installments, how much per month post taxes and protection plan. Answered all our questions including if my mom could keep her same phone number because she is T mobile customer and keep paper bill/both yes. Store is large, masks not required but we wore ours. Leisha T. again, very nice and efficient, and she gave us heads up store will be closing for about a month for remodeling this summer/but then will re open.

They require you to submit a reason online, generate a case number, and then call in to actually cancel. Even after doing all that, I had to go through multiple automated prompts before finally reaching someone who could help. By the time I got through, our phone number had already been ported to another provider, meaning Grasshopper was no longer providing any service. Despite that, they continued to charge us. When I asked for a refund for the months we were not using the service, I was told the representative "did not have the option" to issue one. So not only were we billed for a service we weren't using, but there was also no resolution offered. This process feels intentionally difficult and not customer-friendly. If a number is ported out, the account should be automatically canceled, or at the very least, billing should stop. Overall, very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this service.

Grasshopper charged me over $1400 for a plan so outdated it might as well come with a rotary dial and a carrier pigeon. I didn't even get a heads-up...just BAM! "Thanks for your money." When I called to ask why I was being billed like it's 2007, their response was basically, "That's the plan you picked." Really? That's the best you've got? I pointed out, that Google, Zoom, RingCentral, and even your neighbor's kid's lemonade stand offer better VOIP services at half the price. And just like that, a miracle! Suddenly, they do have a new plan that only costs $800. Amazing how those don't come up until you start yelling into the void. I asked three separate times to be switched to that cheaper plan and to be credited for the blatant overcharge. Each time, they promised it was "taken care of." Spoiler: it never was. Months went by. Still no adjustment, no refund , just the distant sound of crickets and the faint stench of corporate indifference. I finally pulled the plug, expecting at least a partial credit for the six months left on my plan. But no, customer service told me that "we don't do that." So to recap: Grasshopper charged me premium pricing for relic service, tried to upsell me with fake savings only after I complained, broke their own promises multiple times, and finished strong with a big ol' middle finger when I canceled. I've had better service from vending machines. Never again. Grasshopper, you've earned this one-star review with flying colors!
