They know their product and have a collection of some rare books. The place is PACKED with books. It's a bit overwhelming, but they have a bit of everything and since it's been there a while, the collection is huge. Our friend managed to find some text books that were out of print. He was excited about those. It is definitely one of those places you need to spend a long time in. Easily 2 hours if there is stuff you really want to look into. Great to stop by if you are a big reader!

About a 5 minute wait, if that. I purchased a 9oz "Night Garden" candle, which smells so good. I also bought a mini torch sage, matches, and two incense matches in French vanilla. The ladies were very helpful and polite, they answered all of our questions and offered further assistance. I definitely recommend making this one of your stops if you're in the Salem area.

I also snagged a lovely scented body powder, some earrings as gifts, a mermaid necklace for myself, and a few other odds and ends. Everything was packaged lovely and, as I found out, the jewelry is all handmade by one of the owners mothers. I felt that everything was priced fairly and I will certainly come again when in Salem. I love supporting small, local businesses and this shop was warm, inviting, and lovely.
