More people showed up closer to 11:30-11:40, and who did they take first? The handful that rushed through the door past all of us who had been waiting. They asked us to sign in, but then skipped right over us and served others first. The staff clearly saw us waiting at the front before opening, and still ignored us. Pretty messed up and extremely frustrating. And then, after all of that, I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes before anyone helped me. When I finally got service, the rep couldn't even fix my issue. My cellular watch can receive calls and text just fine, but it can't make calls. Instead of troubleshooting, he was in such a rush that he just pushed me off to Apple Support or AT&T phone support. I didn't want to sit on hold for hours, so now I'll have to try again another day -- and the problem still isn't resolved. If this is how they treat customers before even making a sale, I can't imagine how they handle actual service issues.

When I received the first bill after trade in I discovered some charges I didn't expect. The bill showed that I owed $117.76 before credits. I called Consumer Cellular and talked to a very nice young man, however the young man didn't understand the bill himself so he kept putting me on hold to talk to a third party (I didn't mind holding either). After all was said and done the $60 charge for surcharges and fees was actually 2 months of easy pay plan debit. Instead of using my phone trade in credit against the remaining balance owed, they charged me two months of payments for the phone on the invoice. That is what brought the total bill before credits to $117.76. I don't know about anyone else, but when I see a charge that is before credits, I think, "Oh no! How can I pay this bill next month when there won't be any credits?" I would like for anyone with Consumer Cellular to pay attention to their bill received after the trade in credit is received. Consumer Cellular billing is extremely convoluted.

The savings (I just discovered) is $1.00 a month. AARP is $16.00 a year. NO savings at all! 2) I just bought a new phone and a screen protector. The screen protector I received is flawed. They do not do refunds for those. I paid $21.00 for it - thinking they would have a higher quality product. I was wrong. Do not purchase this unless you go to astore and have them put it on before you purchase it and see that it works. I will not be giving them a good review going forward. I'm very disappointed. Shame on you Consumer Cellular.

She explained every detail and all of our questions were responded to in a positive manner. We had been AT&T customers for decades, but in recent times have been less than pleased with their customer service and pricing policies. We immediately saved around $250 a year by switching to the 55+ program currently being offered by T-Mobile. We took advantage of having our car set up for broadband access with t-Mobile's sync hardware. The store manager, Akash immediately set up the hardware and associated software in our car and on my iPhone. He was extremely positive and super knowledgeable, plus an all-around good chap! In addition to basic roadside assistance, one of the benefits of the sync hardware is that you immediately receive recall and service notifications about your car. One of the service notifications we received when the system went active dealt with a particular issue that we had been having with our car and had been unable to pinpoint the exact problem. Because of this feature we now have a solution! Overall, a very positive experience with the crew at this t-Mobile location. We were also fortunate to have the Portland area marketing manager present at the store when we signed up for T-Mobile service. His name is Drake and he was totally awesome!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He helped me upgrade my iphone 13 pro to a iphone 17 pro. I've had this phone for 7 years. He looked up my plan and customized my order to what I wanted (silver, 512gb, keep my old phone). He looked up any promos and ways to bring down my total monthly bill. He had me sign some papers electronically, and I was out the door within 40 minutes. I synced my phone myself at home. The whole process was about an hour. The store is bright and clean.
