I was told I would need to get deep cleanings every quarter instead of every 6 months. I thought that I would leave having had a cleaning but instead they sent me to the billing clerk so that I could figure out payment and then schedule the cleaning after. They tried to charge me $800 per cleaning initially. After I told her that their price was significantly outside of my Dentist budget she cut the price down to $300. It felt predatory and disingenuous. I told her I wouldn't be coming back and I left. I ended up finding another dentist that charges me $65 per quarterly cleaning. Same insurance and everything. If you like nice leather sofas, tvs and overpriced service this is the place for you. If not I do not recommend it.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office and feel it's important to share what…read morehappened. I scheduled a routine dental exam and cleaning, yet my visit lasted nearly two hours. After the exam, I was told I needed what they called "special scaling in the presence of generalized moderate tartar," which would cost $229 out of pocket, on top of what my insurance already covers. I visit the dentist 2-3 times a year and have never once been told I needed a "special" cleaning. When I declined this additional charge, they ended my visit immediately and did not offer a basic cleaning at all. I was told this was due to "dental ethics," which made no sense considering I had scheduled and waited specifically for a cleaning. Because I was frustrated and confused, I asked to speak with the office manager. Suddenly, the same "special cleaning" was offered for $67, which only raised more concerns. To make matters worse, this "special cleaning" turned out to be exactly like every standard cleaning I've ever received. This entire experience felt pressure-driven and financially motivated, not patient-focused. I left feeling misled and taken advantage of. I strongly encourage others to ask detailed questions, request clear explanations, and consider a second opinion before agreeing to any out-of-pocket charges. Please beware.

I walked out. Dishonest crooks, money hungry. The procedures are painful. I am 82, soon to be 83. The first lady - I don't believe she was my usual hygienist, gave me a nice fuzzy blanket, admired my nail polish - she was killing time for the dentist to get there. I got a crown put on today and each time they explain what they are about to do and check on you to make sure your as comfortable as possible. But most of all he is gentle and does excellent work. I can't even feel I have a crown on. I will be getting one more and I will only go here. Because of the way i am cared for, treated and taken care of I will remain loyal to this office. I strongly suggest this office and Dr.Nguyen. No one likes going to the dentist of course but they are so gentle you really have nothing to fear as far as pain etc.. GREAT JOB!!

I set an appointment for 12 noon. I received a confirmation text stating that my appointment was at 12:30. They called me at 12:15 asking why I late. When I arrived at the office, I was the only patient waiting (first clue that this was a bad practice). I didn't go for X-rays until 1:15. Didn't see the dentist until after 2. When it came time for the extraction, I clearly stated which tooth was to be extracted. I even placed my finger on the tooth was to be extracted. The dentist seemed to acknowledge agreement. He then proceeded to pull the wrong tooth. It was obvious, he didn't understand what I meant. Communication is vital in getting proper care. This is an English as a second language office. If you are not Spanish speaking, do not go here. They likely won't completely understand what you are saying.

So I haven't been to a dentist in a little over a year but this time I was determined to find a…read moreplace where they care about the patients. I am sooooo glad I chose to make my appointment here. Got to fill out my information online so I went at my scheduled time and didn't have a wait time. First impression: very clean, advanced equipment, nice rooms with entertainment, and the friendliest staff ever at a dentist. After signing in I was in the waiting room for about two minutes. Someone had just been called to the back so I thought I was going to be there perhaps 15 minutes, but instead the dentist that was going to treat me came out and took me to the back himself. Dr. Sahegin was awesome- he asked me if I had any concerns, answered my questions, and we decided to just do a general examination and figure out my workup. Michele came in, introduced herself, and took me to do my x-rays: some positions were slightly painful but nothing I couldn't handle and Michele was quick to minimize the discomfort :) Dr. Sahegin did an extremely detailed evaluation at the chair as well. I can't express how much I appreciate this as I've had my fair share of dentists that don't answer questions, look at the general places to do major work, and you're pretty much out the door. Amazing!!! Had to get touch-ups on a couple of things and a filling so I was there a while as the machine was making it. Michele even took me to look at it and at the precision of the coloring. It was nice to see everything that happened "behind the scenes" (maybe its because I ask a lot of questions though lol). I also had a cleaning and Kelli (hygienist) was absolutely wonderful. I asked her a couple of questions and she gave me good tips too. I felt as though I was being a little pampered to be honest. I know it sounds strange as it's the dentist, right? Whenever water splashed on me they would dry it off or if I re-adjusted I would always get an "are you okay?" I couldn't explain that it wasn't the procedure that bothered me as I had my mouth open but Dr. Sahegin, Michele, and Kelli all equally checked up on me constantly. I will say, it was kind of nice :D Before I left, Dr. Sahegin walked me out and talked to me a bit before I left for follow-up questions and to ask me to fill out a survey that the office was going to send me. They really care about the service they offer their patients which means a lot. I have definitely learned to expect more from dentists and can say that I am extremely comfortable returning here. I don't see why anyone should have a problem at Champions Modern Dentistry- they all go above and beyond to accommodate you. Highly recommended!

They took over a dozen X-rays and imaging because they couldn't get the angles correct and then charged me for all of them. They insisted I needed a deep clean and lied on the examination by saying my gums were worse than they actually were. They said I needed other procedures and My insurance came back and denied these claims as fraud. They gave me proof as to why they were fraudulent. I have never had this happen before. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they warned me not to go back. I canceled my appointment , but they had talked me into ordering a partial. When It came in I went to pick it up, but they refused to give it to me, saying I need to get a medical release before I get it. The receptionist was so rude and condescending I couldn't believe it. I caught her in several lies before I left out of complete confusion that I was unable to get my property. So in recap, be careful when and if you go here. Watch out for them charging you for things you don't need, keeping you there for hours to force you to make a choice you do not want, bold face lying to you, and then disrespecting you if you stand up for yourself. I will be filing a claim with the BBB as I am not the only one who had this happen to them
