I first found this place through an Instagram ad about three months ago. They were advertising underarm laser hair removal, and the price seemed pretty reasonable, so I decided to get a package. After my first visit, I really liked how clean and nice the place was. Everything looked new and well maintained, so I ended up getting another package for Brazilian laser hair removal too. I've been coming here for about three months now, and I had another appointment today. Everyone who works here has always been so friendly and welcoming. What I like most is how clean, comfortable, and well-kept the whole place is. I've had a really good experience so far, and now I'm even thinking about checking out some of their facial treatments next time! :) read more

I visited this medical spa during its grand-opening promotion to try microneedling for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and ultimately required me to seek medical care elsewhere. Despite approximately 35 minutes of numbing, the procedure was extremely painful (considerably more so than a full-face laser treatment I had undergone previously at a separate medical dermatology clinic). Immediately after the treatment, I experienced significant burning, redness, and bruising. Staff in the recovery area noticed my reaction and recommended red-light therapy afterward. Once the initial inflammation and purging subsided, my skin appeared to improve temporarily. However, within the following month, I began developing nodular acne, something I had never experienced before, along with persistent marks and worsening hyperpigmentation. The treatment consent I was given disclosed risks such as temporary redness, mild bruising, dryness, flaking, pigmentation changes, and infection, but it did not list nodular acne among the potential side effects presented to me. The acne became significant enough that I sought treatment from a licensed medical doctor, who prescribed clindamycin to address the nodular breakouts. Because the skin concerns persisted, I was subsequently evaluated by a licensed dermatologist, who advised me that I had procedural skin damage associated with the treatment and recommended laser treatment to address the remaining damage and pigmentation. I also contacted the spa afterward to express my concerns. The receptionist recommended that I return for a follow-up with Joyce Kim, the same esthetician who had performed my microneedling treatment. Given the severity of my experience and the skin problems that followed, I did not feel comfortable returning to the same provider for corrective care. During my subsequent medical care, I also became concerned about the professional qualifications required to perform microneedling. I had not been shown, nor had I independently verified, the credentials or scope of practice of the person who performed my treatment at the time as estheticians cannot perform any service that punctures, cuts, or destroys the live layers of the skin in the state of California. I understand that every person's skin can respond differently to cosmetic procedures, and I cannot speak for anyone else's experience. However, based on the level of pain and bruising I experienced, the development of nodular acne requiring prescription treatment, the persistent hyperpigmentation and skin damage, and my lack of confidence in returning to the same provider for follow-up care, I would not undergo microneedling at this medical spa again. read more

I'm sharing this review to warn others about my experience at this clinic. From the start, it was clear the clinic is overbooked for the amount of staff they have. The environment felt rushed, and it gave the impression that volume is prioritized over patient care and quality service. The front desk was discussing visit details and charges out loud in a public area with all patients, before any private assessment was done, which felt very unprofessional and not respectful of patient privacy. How did the front desk determined the amount of units I needed ? Are they also RN's ? Even with an appointment, expect significant delays. I waited about 45 minutes past my scheduled time. I also returned one day early for a follow-up and was told I was "too early" to receive additional units. The interaction felt abrupt and dismissive rather than focused on patient care. My nurse was a Hispanic nurse. When I returned the following day due to dissatisfaction with my results (my 11's were still visible), additional units were administered, but I still did not see a noticeable improvement. There was also a lack of transparency around pricing. Only certain units were charged at a promotional rate, while additional units were billed at full price, and this was not clearly explained upfront. Overall, my experience lacked communication, transparency, and service quality. I would caution others to ask very clear questions about pricing and expected results before proceeding. I personally would not return You still didn't answer my question. How did the receptionist determined where I needed my Botox - Jeveau ? With no assessment ? Why are the charges different from your advertisement ? I learned this after reviewing online. read more

This review is solely for false promotion/advertisement. I saw this place randomly on my social media account and decided to check it out. They have quite a few selection of opening promotions. I booked the Ultherapy prime for $259 and hair removal for $19 per session. Before booking, I messaged their facebook page as I had a few questions regarding the treatments. The person I spoke with was great and very responsive. Come my appointment time, I arrived and approached the front desk. They offered a free skin analysis which is great. They ask you to double cleanse and they took me to skin analysis machine. Jill came in to discuss my skin analysis result. Afterwards, we discussed the treatment that I specifically came for which is the Ultherapy. To my surprise, she told me that the $259 is literally for a trial only. They will just do it on one spot to see if you can tolerate it or not. That's literally throwing $259 for a trial! The worst part is that when I inquired online, it wasn't mentioned and elaborated that the price is only for trial on spot on your face to see if you tolerate it. If you end up tolerating it, you have to pay $1,199 for the full discounted price. To sum it up, I ended up leaving very disappointed and wasted my time. Lesson: Don't be fooled by their discounted prices/promotion. read more

The front receptionists were kind and welcoming, and overall the layout of the med spa is beautiful!!! Today I got a Aqua Facial and Dermaplaning done by Karolina. She delivered such amazing service and made sure I was comfortable. I am really happy with the immediate results! She took very well care of my skin which I appreciated :-). I look forward to seeing how my face reacts after a couple of days! I see myself coming back! read more

My boyfriend saw MeSO at The Source OC and he wanted to check it out while we were in the plaza. Luckily, there was availability when we visited so we were able to squeeze in a skin analysis consultation and absolutely LOVED our experience with Tayah! Tayah was professional, friendly, and she explained our skin results in great detail. We had an amazing first time experience here and I would definitely consider getting a future hydrafacial here!!! Thank you MeSO Medspa & Tayah for a great experience!!! She truly made our day :) read more

This review is purely for customer service. I did not receive any services-yet. I have been searching for a facial and injection clinic-used to go to Beverly Hills but the prices was steep and drive was a bit far with traffic. Called on a Saturday and wanted to try some of their special/promotion services-we asked for the hair laser removal and facial. I was thrilled they were able to fit me and my friend in for the following day, Sunday. I called back later in the day to add more services but was told "we are fully booked". My friend tried and was told "we have to analyze your skin first and then we can place you on the waitlist - wait is around 20 minutes for each skin services". We were fine with waiting so we figured we will do it when we get our booked services on Sunday. Also, you'd figure if we needed to prepare anything for the services, they'd tell us in advance...nope. I learned the reason why.... Upon arrival, Esther greeted us and guided us to the waiting area/lounge. She brought with her an iPad and started going over services/pricing...then told us "half of the staff was sick so they left early"...uhh why didn't you call your customers to let them know so they can reschedule? Explained to her it was a decent drive from Huntington Beach to Buena Park, therefore, we'd like to have everything done the same day...eventually, we suggested to her to just get our hair removal services...that was not the case for Esther. She started asking us if we shave this and that...when we told her no one instructed us anything...she started to pressure us to purchase our services in advance. Get this...she asked us to sign a waiver, acknowledging we would not be issue a refund once payment was made...I'm like what...we haven't tried any services, how would we know if we want to purchase a package or even proceed with a bunch of services. We explained our concern and asked if she can reschedule our facials and hair removal to a different day, thus, it was their fault we couldn't receive the services we scheduled. She refused. Esther pressured us to pay and insisted "pricing is only guaranteed today because today counts as your first visit"...and then I even expressed concerns of "what if we try to schedule like today and your staff is out sick or whatnot and I can't get my services again"...nope she didn't seem to care...she only care about sales. I even told her it does not make any sense for our consultation to be considered a "visit"...she wasn't having it. It was very artificial - she gave us answers/responses that I am truly convinced was not authentic but what you would want to hear..my friend said she was concern of bruising - Esther "oh my gosh, I bruise too...just like you.." Seems like others had similar experience, they will schedule an appointment to get you to come and then do some other twisted things to sale upon arrival. Beware...stay away from this place!!!! read more

Best experience ever. Definitely get the aqua facial. Really good experience. It's about 40 minutes for service time. 3rd floor of the mall by the way. The skin is glowing which is great. Would 100% come back and definitely would see this has a habit in my life read more

Great new Medspa for Korean beauty treatments! For their grand opening, they're offering free consultations where they scan your face and walk you through your skin concerns and personalized recommendations. Special shoutout to Esther for a super detailed and helpful consultation, she is so sweet and makes it all easy to digest! She even breaks down daily habits you can work on at home, aside from the treatments here. Also love that they don't pressure you for any packages or add ons unless you're comfortable. Gorgeous new space! All staff were so sweet and attentive. I enjoyed receiving a complimentary skin analysis to help determine which treatments best fit my skin concerns. Today for lifting and tightening, I got the oligio lifting treatment. Pain level was a 3/4 out of 10. The hot sensation subsided immediately after treatment with minimal redness. I also received a mini facial post-treatment. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend. read more

MeSO Medspa - Medical Spas Near Me - Buena Park, California

I made an appointment here weeks ago for 5PM on a a Friday. I was surprised how packed it was when I got there. Lots of staff kind of standing around with tablets and they don't really welcome you. They seemed a bit overwhelmed themselves. Since this place is new it's obvious they are trying to figure things out which is OK! I had scheduled a face diagnosis and an oxygen facial. They did my face scan and said someone will call me up when ready for a consultation. There was definitely a lack of follow up and any kind of acknowledgement. I sat there for 30 mins until someone came up and asked if I was waiting for anything. Um yes??? The services I booked?? Lol. They were very busy. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place, then this is probably not it. They have plenty of rooms for all their services but you can hear all the noise and chatter so fyi! However I did enjoy my oxygen facial a lot and will be back! I found the skin analysis to be very helpful and I can't wait to try all the other services! read more

The staff was friendly, professional, and never pushy. I came in for a complimentary skin analysis, and I was amazed by how much detail it revealed about my skin and specific concerns. They recommended treatments tailored both to the analysis results and my personal skincare goals. I got the Aqua Facial today, and my skin came out glowing and feeling so refreshed. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I'll definitely be coming back for future treatments and would highly recommend this place! read more

Incredibly frustrated with this Medspa. I scheduled a dermaplaning and aqua-facial session for an upcoming wedding. Despite me explaining that I've had dermaplaning done before with zero issues, they refused to do it out of fear of breakouts. It's my skin, and they completely ignored my track record. Because they refused half the service, they rushed through a mediocre aqua-facial that was absolutely not worth the price. My time was completely wasted. I'll be finding another spa that actually values its clients. read more

Treated myself to my some Jeuveau after a year nursing my son, and I was so excited to feel refreshed with some tox. The med spa is beautiful, clean and modern inside. The front desk girls were all very warm and friendly, and the check in process is quick and efficient. I had Diane as my nurse injector, and having had plenty of experiences with getting my face poked for Botox, I can say Diane had the most gentle injection technique I've ever had. She was amazing, and it was so painless. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and I was in and out of there quickly! And my results are perfect and exactly what I like! read more

I am a little conflicted about reviewing Meso as 3 stars, but I want to say I loved my injector Yen as she's very honest, kind, and friendly. The service was great and the spa was clean and luxurious. Meso held a tox promotion for $5.9/unit so I booked an appointment. I get there and meet with a receptionist to be told that tox for the masseters is actually $8/unit which is really confusing/misleading since that wasn't stated anywhere online. I'm also told that for a nefertiti lift, they have a set amount of units for everyone and I don't get a consultation based on my anatomy? I found this odd since I've been to other med spas and know the importance of individual anatomy and personal consultations with the injector. Later my injector advises me that I don't need all the units I purchased for the nefertiti, so I'll have it left over. Overall, I did like my experience here and the staff are nice but the untrue promotional price and unclear consultation was confusing and not the best. read more
