Found this place early evening around 5:30 because I needed to early before an early flight the next morning. Alas, they only do their tapas menu until 6:30pm.
I did however cobble together dinner with the tapas and it was best meal I've had in my entire week here in Porto.
Flavors were well-calibrated and balanced. The tenderloins steak bites were terrific. The sauce, the tenderness of the meat, the sear, everything. Only complaint may be that it came cooked rare and I wasn't asked how I liked it. I personally love rare tenderloin, but be warned if you don't like that.
There are limited wines by the glass. I had a glass of medium-body Douro red and it was complex and fun to pair with the food.
The ambiance was upscale, with a chic, slightly tropical decor. Mellow samba music. Makes sense, given the Brazilian influences on the menu.
Servers were kind and spoke excellent English.
Bathrooms: The nicest I've seen in Porto so far. Great decor, reasonably spacious, and everything works. read more
