    Good spot to relax.

Went to this park to park my Jeep so I can ride my bike. It's a safe park to walk around and relax. Park has baseball field can a batting cage.

This park is a great park! Has that community feeling. There is 2 baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, jungle gym for the children, and a clean bathroom. They also have picnic areas which are good for bbq's. The grills are set up at each picnics area. There is many little parks around this area. Frat to walk and enjoy with the family.

The park seen from the mesa above.

I've ridden through the park several times on my bike, and I've walked around it once to gain some knowledge about the mesa above and to the west of the park. Today, we parked at the park, walked through it, and then went cross country on our own trail to see Las Vegas from the top of the mesa for which the Mesas is named. The park has good parking, nice green spots for kids and adults, and some very nice walking areas. Since the Great Recession, the area has not grown as much as before and the park is often less busy than some of the other Summerlin parks. It's a very pleasant place.

What a great park to bring your kids for any activities, I mean every park is great to bring your kids. But my kids love this park because is a big park for them to play soccer, running around, there is tennis court, basketball, baseball and playground. And the park is clean.

I like to walk with my friend around Mesa Park, it is pretty chill at night. It is nice if you walk with your dog there.

Ask the Community - Mesa Park

Any way to reserve the tennis courts if you're not a summerlin resident? or can someone just arrive to play and have to move if another person has reservations?

Hi what time do they shut the lights off in the tennis courts on the weekends?

Hi there. If I'm not mistaken they shut the light off at 9pm .. because last time I went there with my kids at 5:30pm on Saturday people still coming and we left there around 8pm and there is still people play basketball, tennis, baseball going on… Read more

Is the Mesa playground opened to the public for our children to play on (September 22,2020)?

I don't think so. Last time i was there, there was still "Caution" tape up. This was a couple weeks ago.

Is there an enclosed dog park here?

No, just the open grassy area

While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

I honestly didn't know much about this tragedy beforehand, but I'm really grateful that this garden exists--to build awareness, offer a place for reflection and healing, and serve as a meaningful memorial honoring all the innocent lives lost. You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos. Each memorial area had its own unique style, reflecting the individuality of the person it honors. You can learn their age, where they were from, and a little about who they were.
