When I first discovered this park, I pretty much had it all to myself. Now it has become more popular but still a great escape when I don't feel like running in my neighborhood. The park is a nice size with some little league ballparks, clean restrooms, grassy areas for kids and dogs, tennis courts, playground and some nice walking paths. What I enjoy most about this park is how close it is to the mountains. Such beautiful views but they just keep building so I am not sure how much longer these views will last. Took a morning walk through this park today. It's quiet, clean, and feels very safe. I also brought my kids to play here a few weeks back and they enjoyed it however they prefer parks that are busier with more kids to play with. I've ridden through the park several times on my bike, and I've walked around it once to gain some knowledge about the mesa above and to the west of the park. Today, we parked at the park, walked through it, and then went cross country on our own trail to see Las Vegas from the top of the mesa for which the Mesas is named. The park has good parking, nice green spots for kids and adults, and some very nice walking areas. Since the Great Recession, the area has not grown as much as before and the park is often less busy than some of the other Summerlin parks. It's a very pleasant place. read more

This park is a great park! Has that community feeling. There is 2 baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, jungle gym for the children, and a clean bathroom. They also have picnic areas which are good for bbq's. The grills are set up at each picnics area. There is many little parks around this area. Frat to walk and enjoy with the family. read more

My wife and I love coming to this park to bring our kids, has a nice playground and some basketball courts for me to play on when she does her walking and watching the kids at the playground. Just don't come when there are baseball games going on if you want peace and quite, because it is hectic with lots of kids on the loose haha. Some parents do need to watch and beat their kids though. Other than that I'd say this is a very nice park to come too. read more

Nice park with tennis courts, basketball court, softball fields, playground, and a large grass field. A title tricky to find the parking as the sign has you go the wrong way. I didn't notice the sign like most Clark Country Parks have. Nice area and felt safe to walk around alone. read more

Absolutely love this park. Basically there couldn't be much to change between parks here in town, right? Only this one feels better than others! The playground is great, suitable for younger and older kids. The grass around it is awesome, my son run around and loved every second of it. The area itself is cool too, gorgeous mountain view! There are two sitting areas, one right next to the playground and another one next to the baseball area. Bottom line, if you live in the area you're a mom who's looking for a new park, this is a great place to go to. read more

I was only here once but basketball courts were nice. A solid size grass area to kick around a soccer ball, have a catch, throw around a frisbee. I think they have 3 little league fields where they usually have kids games. There are a couple of tennis courts. I didn't play on them but they looked well maintained. Nothing to hate on here. Nice view of the mountains nearby. Family atmosphere. Feels welcoming and inviting. I don't have kids but there is definitely at least one playground there. When it's not like 7 billion degrees outside, I'll be back to shoot around or have a catch. Right now, I'll stay inside and not melt. read more

A beautiful park. Home to Summerlin South Little League Spring and Fall. Parking seems crazy but there are side streets and neighbors are friendly. Concessions are open for Little league games, staffed by volunteers and only take cash at this time. Security is very friendly. Lots of neighbors walk their dogs in and around the park. Kids and young adults play basketball all the time here. Most people are friendly if you are interested. If not. Wait a bit and a court opens up. Field lights only operate during the season but batting cages have their own control. If they don't work, ask security nicely. Most times they are very helpful. read more

This place has really nice bathrooms. Took a really nice, one there. The environment really helped, and the leaves on the bushes were really nice and colorful. All in all had a wonderful time, and the dog poop there was Abundant! Love it! read more

The playground equipment is relatively new and there's 2 sets of it. One area for the smaller kids, and a more extensive area for the larger kids....which has handled an adult or two enjoying the slides with their 2 year old. The view is not half bad either. As far as parks go, you can't go wrong stopping here for a while. Now that I've heard that there's access to the mesa from here I have to check the park out even more. It's one of my Top 10 favorite parks in the entire valley. read more

When you finish your journey navigating through many roundabouts, neighborhoods, Bishop Gorman HIgh School, and dead ends you'll be rewarded with Mesa Park. Mesa Park is always clean, restrooms aren't disgusting, parking isn't a nightmare, and has plenty of light. Pretty much all the basic amenities of a decent park. It features grass areas, uphill and down, softball fields, 2 tennis courts, picnic areas, no creepers, and of course a basketball court. Lights turn off at 10pm, takes a while to warm up at the tennis courts, and for you joggers/runners/walkers/skippers a lap that consist of running from the parking lot side walk, up the softball field and straight down, going downhill back into the entrance is almost exactly half a mile (something like 0.497 miles). If I'm in the mood for an easy quick running course Mesa is the way to go. read more

A nice, clean park not too far away from home with a big field, playground, baseball diamonds, a basketball court, 2 tennis courts, and several picnic tables. A wonderful place to take the family to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. My friends and I love to come here when we have no money and nothing to do (which is almost all the time). A warning to all who want to play basketball here! Beware of selfish meatheads that take up the full court, forcing others to "play" on the side baskets. It's whatever though, they're not even that good. Also watch for inconsiderate dog-owners who do not know how to pick up after their dog. Gross. read more

I need some help & I'm hoping someone will see this & have some information. I live a mile from Mesa Park & my two year old golden retriever loved walking around the baseball diamonds & chasing bunnies/chipmunks. He also liked to search thru the bushes for stray baseballs. Approximately five weeks ago, we went to the park & ALL of the shrubs/bushes were cut down-there were NO bunnies/chipmunks anywhere!?! Two days later, my pup suffered a grand mal seizure. I need to reiterate that my pup has NEVER had any health problems-my vet thought that perhaps it was heat stroke. Two weeks later, we went back to the park & AGAIN-within two days, my pup suffered another grand mal seizure. I've spent endless hours at the specialists & forced my poor pup to endure numerous tests including an MRI & spinal tap. The tests showed nothing. What chemical did someone use at Mesa Park? Has anyone else experienced this problem. I actually spoke with a wonderful woman from Parks & Recreation who stated that she wasn't aware of any pesticides/rodenticide being used HOWEVER, I'm convinced that these circumstances are too suspicious. I love the park however, until this situation is resolved, I suggest keeping pets/small children away from the bushes/shrubs by the baseball diamonds. read more

This is a very nice park, I'm only giving it 3 stars because it doesn't really meet the need of a great dog walking place. However, if your goal is to hangout in the field, use the baseball fields/tennis courts, and just enjoy the view, it's a very nice clean park. We went with our pup hoping there would be extensive walking paths. We thought there was a path up into the mountains to do a tiny bit of hiking. There really wasn't. There are paths all around the park, but it's a small park and as someone mentioned something like .5 miles of walking around. We usually try and take our dog on 2-3 mile walks, so we had to just walk around the neighborhood. It's a nice neighborhood and we enjoyed it, but for long walks we won't come back here. As a small family park, it's great! As a long walking dog park, not so much. read more

Quiet, pretty park tucked away on the SW side of Summerlin. Lots of grass. It must've been built with baseball/softball in mind. Multiple baseball fields, and even a batting cage. But there are tennis and basketball courts as well. Nice children's play area. Bathroom was clean and there were plenty of shaded spots to sit and relax. read more

Nice Park by the area I work. Large grassy field that is depressed into a bowl so you don't lose your balls. If you lay in the middle of it you almost forget you're in a desert! 1 Covered Playground with soft turf, Three baseball fields, NO water features (-1 Star), 1 Full Size basketball Court with three side baskets per side (8 total), 2 tennis courts and covered picnic tables. Though I have never been to any games here, I can see there is concession windows for food! There is plenty of parking and it's nice and peaceful in the middle of the day. I like that it's far away from everything (freeway and traffic), at the edge of the city and very quiet. read more

Beautiful park with an amazing view of the mountains! The tennis courts seem like they get crowded, so we ended up just sticking to the basketball courts. Your ball can go really far down along the hill if you let it go, but a lot of folks were rebounding for each other. My favorite park. It's never too crowded and it's quiet , peaceful and serene. Definitely a smaller park . Has all your basic needs , kids area, grass area, tennis courts , basketball courts , baseball fields ,etc. There's sidewalk going around the park to take a quick walk . The view of the Mesa mountain is beautiful . There are hiking paths in the Mesa itself. I have taken my dog on walks here. There is not a dog area or fenced off dog run area. Because it is connected to housing there are dogs occasionally off leash because the park is pretty much their backyard . With that being said I have never been attacked or concerned about anyone's dog there . They are always well mannered . Good park if you wanna get away from the city and relax . Five stars read more

A friend of mine recommend this park for me to bring my pugs to, so I arrived expecting a fenced dog run and great walk away with poop bags and loved the idea of the convenience from my house. However, this is NOT a park for dogs unless you want to go on a quick 15-60min walk otherwise it's useless for dog owners. Dogs need to be off leash, for real exercise and safe large fenced areas provide that for us. If you have kids I would highly recommend this park for a game of baseball but all dog owners should make the drive to desert breeze, it'll be more worth it and your pups will have more fun there. (Just make sure they are up to date on shots before playing with others!) read more
