I just moved and was looking for a new salon. I went in for a full set and the technician that did my nails was not very patient. I asked for a cats eye effect and at my old salon, they added a nude color under the cats eye polish so it is not transparent. When he did the first coat on one finger I told him I didn't want my nails to be see-through and he responded by saying "I know, I haven't added the second coat yet" in an annoyed tone. He finished with the second top coat and my nails are absolutely see-though. I hate them, with the messy glue application and the lack of opacity, it looks like I'm wearing a cheap press on set. I really wish I had insisted they add a nude nail polish under the cats eye polish like I saw them do at my old salon, but his demeanor was very annoyed and impatient. Not cool. This place is so cute and they offer trending nail styles and colors. I am very sad to say this was my go to nail salon but no longer due to the customer service declining. I've been coming here for the past two years, coming every other month to get gel manicure with nail builder. I was so exited to find a nail salon I can trust and consistently come to. This place has never been too busy and there's lots of parking spots in the plaza. This has been one of the few places that offer builder and great service, two of the reasons that keeps me coming back. When I started coming here, one lady would help me every time then after ~10 sessions she passed me off to someone else who has helped me 3 times. The first time this other person, I think her name is Mandy, worked on my nails she cut 6 of my fingers from over filing my nails. I told her she cut me and to be gentle. Instead to admitting to making me bleed, she responded that it's because I wanted short square nails. The last time I came in get my nails done and I was assigned this other person so I knew this would be my last visit. She over-files my nails leaving them very thin, easy to break on top of causing me to bleed and hurt. I am very sad to say this is no longer a nail salon I want to go to due to poor customer service. From my first experience to my last, I've felt the services I was received have changed for the worse. read more

I've been to this location multiple times and never had a bad experience until today. Mandy took care of me and she was careless and her mannerisms were unpleasant. I'm aware that sometimes when getting the cuticles cleaned up, they can possibly cut you but she did not apologize or clean it properly before proceeding. She also just put the cuticle oil on top of my bleeding cuticle at the end which is gross and would contaminate the bottle? I was also debating on two colors and asked her to show them to me and she showed them to me from the bottles and suggested a color but I wanted to see them on my nail so I asked her to put them on my nails. Instead of fully painting the nails, she put blobs of the polish on two fingers which doesn't accurately represent the color because it's not a thin coat but a blob. Overall, she seemed to be in a rush and uninterested. I feel that she may need to be retrained on her etiquette, very disappointing experience. read more

This was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had in my life and I get my nails done every few weeks. Grace did my hands and she was incredibly unprofessional. When I sat down, she started working on my hands laughing at me because it took me more than a few minutes to pick a color when she's the one who took me back for service and didn't let me take a minute to choose my color at the front. Then when she proceeded with the gel manicure, she said whoever did your nails last time did an awful job they didn't do gel. They ruined your hands and your nails are weak little did she know she was the one who did my gel last time. She kept repeating that my nails were weak so finally I told her you know what it's fine. I don't want to do gel. I'll let my nails grow out and heal. Apparently, she did not understand what I meant and continue to bring out the product for a gel manicure I told her multiple times no it's OK. I want my nails to grow out since you said they were weak and she proceeded to push me saying I need to pay $10 to make my nails stronger. I'll need to pay extra since my nails are so weak to work on them, etc. it was incredibly rude and unprofessional to be shilling product onto me right after she told me not to do my nails because they were so weak from their own service. I asked for just a basic manicure and she had to recruit two people to explain to them because she no longer wanted to talk to me what I meant by that. The remainder of the manicure she was incredibly unprofessional incredibly rude and kept on talking badly about me not knowing that I could understand every single word that she was saying to her coworker as I speak the language. She disparaged my nails, saying they looked awful. Whereas she did them last time she said that my hair looked ratty. She said that she didn't understand what someone like me was doing in there. I just want to say that the other woman I worked with Sue was incredibly professional and kind and was willing to make up for Grace's mistakes and unkindness. I would not recommend going here. I decided to drive straight from Mesa Nail to another salon to go ahead and do my gel manicure as I felt that that they said themselves that their work was bad last time, and that my nails are ruined as a result, and that they were trying to push products and services onto me to add extra fees to make up for the mistakes they made last time and the fact that Grace disparaged me multiple times on end, not knowing that I understood her every word.
