Everyone here is always so friendly and welcoming. My original nail tech was Navea, but she left to pursue college. Most recently, I saw Grace, and she was absolutely wonderful, sweet, meticulous, and very attentive. She was very patient with my fastidious attitude, taking her time to ensure I was completely satisfied with her work. She is one of those people that prioritize passion over paycheck. My boyfriend took me here for a treat, and we didn't know where to go, so we found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. There weren't many people there, but the salon had plenty of seats for pedicures and lots of tables for manicures. The girls who helped us were all very nice. My boyfriend definitely got lucky with a more personable technician, she really knew how to carry a conversation! I was happy with the girl who helped me as well; she was sweet, though a bit quieter. They did a great job overall, and I was super pleased with the results. My pedicure lasted for about two months before I decided to take it off. I went today last minute because I ended up not liking my set from another salon and I saw a lot of good reviews on Kenny. I decided to give it a try and ended up really liking it. I live really close by so always drove past it so definitely convenient that it's so close. Kenny is really precise and detail oriented. He's a bit sassy and blunt but gets the job done and how you want it. I'd recommend him if you want something quick and fun for your set. read more

Haven't had my nails done in almost 2 years and back at it since it was a treat by a friend. First timer in this salon, wasn't a busy day today. Got a gel polish and the process was interesting since it's mt first time trying. I have always went for gel x. The nail tech was very professional and very efficient. She tried hard to copy the style I wanted and she did well. Just a few hiccups like they have limited color options and one nail wasn't molded evenly so I feel a bump, but I can live with it. No frills, hole in the wall nail salon in Covina. The inside isn't anything super special but it's clean. They have lots of colors to choose from. The girl who did my nails was super polite and did my nails pretty quickly (took less than 1 hr for gel x with design on 1 nail). I had a picture design as reference for my nail tech and overall, I'm happy with how it came out (not perfect but still satisfied). The customer service here is absolutely horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. I almost never give out reviews, but I will never be coming here again. A family member and I came in to get a gel X set done today, and we clearly told the worker we each wanted a set. Since there was only two workers working, and one of the ladies was already occupied they helped out my family members first. Halfway through the service they received a call from somebody else and they told her to just come in. They decided to just skip me and do the other persons nails once one of them had finished up a set. At this point I had already waited an hour or more. When I told them if they were going to do my nail set they said okay just wait longer. I would have waited for them, but they decided to do someone else nails who got there after me. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

I went today to get a gel builder manicure and Keey never disappoints with doing my nails. I called last minute and they got me in right away and before even starting my nails, he made sure I was okay with the price, I love that there was no surprises on the price. He was quick efficient and always making sure I was satisfied with each nail he did. Overall I loved how they turned out and will definitely keep coming back. we had an appointment scheduled but they still had us wait (I'm thinking they overbooked). we both got pedicures & while the price is decent, I didn't feel like they really cleaned my toenails. the person didn't even massage my feet/legs at all /: my mom said her person massaged her. we both got the basic pedicures but I don't feel like they really did that great. materials seemed clean, they opened fresh packages of tools when they worked on my toes. I went for a pedicure and discovered when I came home that my original color was incompletely removed and showed on the side of my big toe, clashing with the new color. The online scheduling for pedicure does not match what is offered. They tried to upsell a 15 minute massage from a 5 minute massage, and when I refused I got no massage at all. There was an older woman who was supposed to do my pedicure, and she refused. So a younger woman ended up doing it. It was a weird vibe and will not return. read more

It was my first time here and I am very happy with how my nails turned out. I got a gel pedicure and it looks so good. The place is small and quaint and was fairly quiet on a Thursday at 1:30pm. The prices are very reasonable. I just had a baby so I needed to find a nail shop closer to home as I was still driving out to Costa Mesa to my old nail shop. I love coming to this salon! I appreciate the ease in booking an appointment online and from what I've experienced, there's a ton of availability on weekends which is convenient for me. I've been going to Mesa Nail since they opened. They have a lot of nail color options and service is always top-notch. I've done gel nails, and gel x and have had them do designs on my nails; they can do it all. Despite their skill level, they still remain an affordable and well priced nail salon compared to others I've been to in the area. The salon itself is low-key but clean. The pedicure salon chairs are comfortable and they always have Friends or House on. I always recommend calling ahead and making an appointment because they can get busy. read more

They have two televisions, but the volumes are on low. You can watch with the closed captions. They also have music playing in the background at a comfortable level. There is parking directly in front, which is shared with the other businesses in the plaza. Thank you, Soul Cool Nail Lounge, for always taking good care of your customers.
