What incredible choices & excellent service…read more Worked with Ernie at Dorado Stone and, after a brief meeting at the tile store prior to my visit to their yard, he had already narrowed down my choices to four pieces that were, frankly, so knock-out gorgeous that I had trouble selecting. Purchased a remnant, so the price is reasonable and I was treated like a rock star client, even for such a small job! That's the kind of customer service other companies should emulate. The stone is so beautiful that I feel like I am bringing a piece of artwork into my home. I am sure that everything will continue to be exceptional with the service and quality as we move into installation. But this was such a good experience so far that I needed to share and make this whole-hearted recommendation. Here's the only down side...although I have no idea how I would ever use them, I'm now having daydreams about the other beautiful natural stone I saw.

We stopped in and really liked some of the choices for a kitchen backsplash to go with our new countertops. My husband measured and figured out how many boxes of tiles we'd need. They say they can meet or beat the prices of almost anyone in town and we like supporting small, local businesses when we can. There was some miscommunication about letting us know when the tile was ready, but it got worked out. We are beginning to get it installed ourselves and think it's going to look great.

First, we ordered the correct amount of tile and at that time the gal had said "they might give you issues because their description on my book says this but you ordered the correct amount" we said okay. Well we called and called and called after 3 weeks we never got a return phone call so we decided to make the drive and come back in. man, annoyed. They told us we could go pick them up at various locations. Which we did, but we realized that the company that she said might have an issue with the order did and that forced us to come back in for another trip to get it once again fixed. The lack of accountability and communication is absurd. They kept saying "we will call you" "it will be a few days" well we figured it's been another 3 weeks since it was supposed to be corrected and we took another trip to the store where they said we could go pick it up and low and behold were told that this store has picked them up 2 days after we ordered it. DID NOT BOTHER TO CALL US AGAIN. How many strikes do they get? So unprofessional, lack of everything from them is sad. They are a family run business that lacks the customer service skills. I have been wanting to write this since the first bullshit but today we are finally picking up the remaining boxes yet there are still having issues and giving more bullshit excuses. On top of that they were given to us soaked. Please do not be distracted by their prices. I would pay more for better customer service than come here and deal with this bullshit.
